The assistant manager Lynn, ran my American Express card without authorization. When I called to speak to the manager Diane, she was obnoxious and refused to give me her last name. She and her fellow employees assured me I would be getting a refund . A week later and I haven't received a refund or a call back . The therapists are great, but the management and front desk are scam artists. Beware!! Furthermore, I can now understand why the staff finds it ok to lie and hang up on clients. Melissa, (owner) your reply is condescending and false. Since you clearly heard the playback of the multiple phone conversations , I wish you could post them for everyone to hear. Lynn wasn't supposed to "void" the transaction, she said the transaction never went through. I repeated my question three times and she very clearly assured me the transaction never went through . Secondly, when I spoke to Diane (who clearly gets her poor customer service skills from you ) she told me there was NO cash transaction showing for the day, and there was no overdraw of money for the day, so being on the other end of the conversation , what was I supposed to think? Diane clearly stated she would NOT refund the money. I would suggest you get your facts straight prior to making a false public statement on a public forum. As you clearly stated, I paid cash, my card should NoT have been charged. Period , end of story. Any customer would agree. The rest is noise. To your final and inappropriate comment; my friend, I get plenty massages from Zeel and soothe but was trying to support a local business, I have gotten many massages at your location, even became a member, in one month I probably came in 3/4 times, Getting 90 minute massages , I tip your therapists well. I clearly don't have the time or energy to review any business , but when a business goes out of their way to offend me, and lie to me, it's my duty to inform the public . You did NOT stop me from coming in, I would never come in after being treated the way you and your staff has treated me. Shame on you for allowing things to escalate to this level. My experience with Elements Message Therapy is one I will not soon forget. Their location is very close to my home, in the heart of Rockville Centre, and finding a parking spot nearby was easy. There is a huge lot located in the rear of their facility so I didn't have to look long. For those of you who commute, the train is only a few minutes away so getting there is no problem at all. As for the amenities and decor, Elements RVC immediately drew me in. From the comfortable seating area in the lobby, to the colorful paintings on the wall, I couldn't help but feel immediately soothed. The receptionist was even kind enough to brew me a warm cup of green tea. Just after a few minutes of me arriving, I was greeted by my therapist Marianna. She was very calm and never once made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She asked me about any trouble areas that I might have, and I indicated that I had just recently ran in the Long Island Marathon. My calves still felt very tense and she was sure to pay special attention to them. I also let my therapist know that this was my first time receiving any form of message therapy, and she couldn't have done a better job making me feel comfortable. She was very kind and professional, and let me know that if at any moment I would like more or less pressure, that I could let her know. The massage tables were so comfortable and the temperature was just right. When my massage was finished, I didn't want to get up, but the York Peppermint Patty resting near the ledge next to my table was a nice incentive. Marianna was absolutely wonderful. After I exited the private room she thanked me and offered me a cool bottle of water, which was really satisfying. The staff was friendly and I left with a huge smile on my face. I will definitely be returning soon. Their monthly membership is something any active person should seriously consider. After all, massage therapy is not only relaxing, it's therapeutic too, so I never have to feel guilty treating myself to a message ever again. I look at it as an investment in my health. My friend and I booked massages as a treat to ourselves during a school vacation - we are both teachers and we needed to relax a little! The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were both made to feel right at home. We were a little early, so we sat in the waiting area on a big, comfy couch and chatted. The studio is clean, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. I loved the dim lights in the massage room, and the heated bed was a lovely surprise. My massage therapist was great! She made me feel welcome and attended to my comfort level by checking in regularly, but she also allowed me plenty of relaxation and quiet time. I told her that I didn't really like a very strong and firm massage, and she made me feel great by telling me that I know my body best and I know what feels right. I love that she respected my wishes, and gave me exactly the kind of massage I was hoping for. This was such a nice treat and a really relaxing experience. I will definitely be returning! read more

At 5 months pregnant a pain suddenly seized my lower leg one day to the point I couldn't walk. I knew I needed to go some place with experienced therapists. Some place where they do more than just rub you down. I called Oak Point because the word "healing" in the promos gave me hope. They suggested an accupuncture treatment the next morning. From the moment I walked in the place reminded me of the zen type spas in Asia. So serene. These people know how to provide a relaxing service. And best of all - an effective treatment. Dmitri assesed my problem as a shin splint. Now I had these before and they took weeks to heal. After limping in for one session with Dmitri, I walked the 12 blocks all the way home! Went to Elements today for a massage. Rocking a newborn everyday has given me a crazy knot in my neck/back. I couldn't even turn my head comfortably. I got there and the spa is beautiful. Gave this place too many chances but my last visit was the last time I will ever go there. Horrible customer service and such a shame too because I was a member there and brought many people in there as well. The masssge therapists are great there but the front desk seems clueless and lacks customer service! Rooms are freezing so you cant even be nice and cozy because you are freezing, when brought up to the front desk. Their reply was "well the therapist get too hot in the rooms and always request AC" ummm so that means me, the client has to be uncomforatble. They also like to use the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes of the session you booked for a massage to get undressed/dressed. Never in my life out of all of the amazing spas ive been to all around the world and in Manhattan have I heard of such a thing! The total time you book should be used just for the service you are paying for. But whatever...the last complete straw for me was when I got a certificate for a 90 min. massage and was running late because of traffic, I called them to inform them I was running late and even apoligized in a sincere way because at the end of the day I am the one running late and I was 20 mins late to my session so I understand they were overbooked that day and had other clients to extend my time but what I dont understand was why I couldnt book another time to use the 20 mins. I have lost out on that day when I was a regular there. I mean its been paid for already and I would have tipped again for the next session to use my time smh..Such horrible service!! Lost my extra 20 mins of a session! They lost a client! and my friends who were clients! And btw I work in a customer service industry so I know whats right and whats not. read more

I booked massages for my friend and I for a Sunday evening. Since this was my first professional massage, and my GFs hundredth, I figure we represent a pretty good cross section of massage goers. I would like to state that it wasn't miserable. Any massage is better than none at all. However, if you are going to charge people for a service, regardless of what that is, you do so because they can't get that same service from untrained random people. In the case of our massage, we felt that nothing the masseuse did was representative of someone that spend 2yrs in school and hours of training doing. So my complaint, at first, was that I saw no value in paying for something that a random person on the street can do just as well, and has done so previously. So because of this I gave a zero rating. Maybe that was a bit harsh, but my point is, if your going to put a high priced spin on something I can get at a nail salon for $20, you're getting a zero for over valuing yourself and pretending I'm not wasting my money. So fool me once, shame on me, no problem. I didn't complain at the point of sale, nor did I ask for a refund. I filled out my survey and went on with my life. Now what really puts the thorn in my side is the follow up phone call, from a cocky, annoying, totally unsympathetic, interrupting receptionist, that kept putting me on hold. So, Elements Therapeutic massage gets a big fat zero, because they can't seem to understand that the customer is always right and when you ask for my opinion, you should listen with your ears and not your mouth. How can a business call a customer at work, ask for their opinion, and then be rude, put the person on hold, and argue with with me before I even get a sentence out? So before I hung up and went on with my life, my closing comment was, "Look, here's the deal, I'm a professional web developer. In order for me to charge people for what I do, I have to be able to do something for them, that their 12yr kid couldn't do at home." And her response was, "Well he's not 12yrs old, and he did go to school for 2yrs, and is licensed." If anyone can figure out what that lady was talking about...please let me know. So they go from a 0 rating....to a negative 1 for stupidity. read more
