Their menu offers a lot of comfort food so I was a little undecided on a couple of dishes but ultimately went with a dinner salad, a plate of Fettuccine Alfredo, and a delicious piece of chocolate cake for dessert. Dinner could not have been more simple but filled up my belly. The interior is so old school and they were very busy which is good to see. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's the perfect location if you plan to visit the springs (which I also recommend). The space has everything you need to be comfortable and even prepare some small meals. It's lacking a dining table-you can either eat outside with the very small cocktail table or inside at the coffee table. There's a portable burner in place of a stove, which works ok for small things. There's a cool eco-friendly coffee maker. This area gets a ton of wind and is right off the highway, so it can be loud. The owners obviously anticipated this, since they provided earplugs for guests. There is extra bedding, but it's a thin blanket and in the winter months it can get a little chilly. The keyless door worked ok as long as you have one hand to pull the door handle tight and the other to punch in the code. Overall, it's a fun place to stay in a convenient location. The view of the canyon out back was my favorite part and watching the colors of the sunset was mesmerizing.

We booked our stay through the CapitalOne travel portal and used miles to pay for it. When we got there, on their end it showed up not being paid, so we never got an email with our check in information. This was of course not their fault, and we got it figured out, but just a warning for any CapitalOne cardholders, I would book this hotel through their website and not CapitalOne! Overall, we had a really great stay and I would definitely stay here again!

We found the owners to be knowledgeable, efficient, helpful, and pleasant. This place is close to everything. It is a beautiful 20 minute drive to the entrance to the Zion National Park; only about a 15 minute drive to Quail Creek State Park or Sand Hollow State Park, and a 10 minute drive to Grandpa's Pond. Our grandsons loved fishing from the dock at Grandpa's Pond, tubing down the Virgin River and seeing all of the fantastic rock formations in Zion and Bryce Canyons. Our favorite place to eat turned out to be Arkansas Al's Steak House in the Majestic View Lodge between The Orchard and the entrance to Zion. We did our original food stocking at the Wal-Mart Super Store in Hurricane (about a 10 minute drive from The Orchard) and did our restocking at The Farmers Market in La Verkin. We celebrated my 72nd birthday at The Orchard. Fantastic. We loved our stay at The Orchard, and will certainly return!

A vacation resort that's a good choice for larger groups…read more Spent 4 nights here while visiting South Utah. Zion Village is a rental resort with a community pool. Most of the rentals here accommodate multiple bedrooms for larger families. Because each unit is owned by different individuals, your rental expense will vary greatly. Some rentals could be old and cheap, and some could be stellar. It all depends on who owns the rental. Our rental had just had a change of ownership, so there is some leeway on my review. Furnishings were older, a few broken items, and a few mice. The previous owners/renters shoved the wifi and router in a phone box with no ventilation and were burning hot to the touch.. This caused the router (internet) not to work when we arrived. We fixed it ourselves.. We also fixed the mice issue. The biggest plus for this place was the community pool. There was a lazy river, which was a huge hit with the kids. Our rental had video games in the garage and a foosball table. Walmart is just down the street.

A microwave and a refrigerator, along with a coffee pot were included. There was an additional pet fee and the accomodations were still well priced. Breakfast was offered including waffles, yogurt, and toast. There are tables and chairs to sit and eat. There is also an outdoor patio should you choose to eat outside. The Roadway Inn is conveniently located and visible on State St. which runs through town. The motel keeper very friendly and has a good sense of humor. I can strongly recommend this place to travelers, and and anyone of my family and friend going through town.

He was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We had great conversation which made the ride to our destination fly by! This particular tour had a bit of everything. We saw some dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, silver mines and a stop at the Virgin River. We love the Utah landscape and all of its beauty. Only thing I can say is that I should have booked an earlier tour to avoid some of the heat but that was my fault. I mean, Utah in late July- what was I thinking?! All in all, Darryl was amazing, the tour was an adventure and I'd do it all again, just at a different time of day. These tours are well worth the time as they are a great way to see Utah off the beaten paths in a really cool Humvee. They are very reasonably priced and I highly recommend more people do them with Red Rock Humvee Tours!

Once we made it to the gorgeous waterfalls he kept a watchful eye and let us soak in the experience without rushing us snd basically let us set the pace. He had snacks and cold water. This tour is a must do, once on your lifetime if possible
