Came here with friends, we had a wonderful time!! The line was relatively short to check ID and gain entry- they gave us the cutest smiley face stamps! All of the staff were very friendly and happy. There were many security guards posted and keeping a watchful eye, which made us feel more secure! And the bartender made us delicious drinks! I asked for something fruity, and he created a mixed drink that was exactly what I wanted :) He even had me try it and ensured I liked it before charging me! The DJ and music were fun and exciting! Coming here on a night out, the place has a good view as it's located on the 21st floor. Valet is only $15 which is pretty good, line is stationed outside and will get ID'd and patted down, I believe if no tickets the fee is $30 cash and $33 card. That's what my party had to pay atleast. The lounge area is pretty nice, two bar locations with one being at the front entrance and one towards the back (easier to go through the bathroom hallway to get there). I enjoyed the music, some weren't my favorite but a good time nonetheless. Got an AMF drink for $22. Owner made sure that one of our friends chain wasn't snatched and that it dropped when we lost the pendant and even offered his personal cell to contact him. I have never out grown the desire to dance . I am in no way smooth on the dance floor, nor have I ever taken a hip hop class, nor can I pirouette on cue. I just find that when I dance I find joy, and I find the joy more lasting when I am in a crowd and can hide my music induced convulsions amongst the other jiggers So I decided to try this club when they hooked me with a 2000's top list night. The place lies in the heart of DTLA, easy enough to find and central to both pre and post game spots, wether these be eateries, other bars or clubs, hotel rooms, and maybe a homie's pad. What is unique of these spots is that each of them serves as a point of start or end for a night, so a pre and post game spot in this circumstance can be both and the same. The club has a valet attached to its location. and costs 15.00 dollars to utilized. Trust, an LA parking spot can be worse in price and further from the venue. So I consider this valet useful and reasonable in cost. As I was waiting in line for a drink I met a girl who had long hair, not Rapunzel length, more like shoulder length that was made special because she had a thin streak of white atop her forehead that streaked across, the front of her hair line, yes, a little like Rogue from X-men. I took a picture of the thin white line, and I labeled it in the picture section but I did not do the best job of catching her hair-print but if one examines the picture close enough it is evident. I commented on the touch of white on her hair, and she soon explained that she was born that way. Rogue (what I called her) came with a friend, who will call Charlie. A staff member moved us to another bar area and as we waited we talked. Charlie informed me earlier on that Rogue and her were not a couple. Charlie, was designated female at birth, and had pants and a vest, and collard shirt on her. Her pronouns were she/her but she expressed herself with masculine garb. She told me that she disclosed their relationship early because people often think they were a romantic couple instead of a pair of friends out for a night. I explained that I understood, and, I always try to ask "What is the relationship of two people together?" because one time I met a couple, and I thought that the woman was the mother and the man was the son, but they were a romantic couple. So now I make sure to ask so I do not assume. I hate it when I am with someone and people assume our relationship because now pairs, like ice cream flavors, come in all sorts of assortments. It is kind of best to wait and learn a relationships makeup then to meet and assume, because this creates a reality that we impose that might hurt or irk another, so waiting it is probably best. I shared a version of these sentimes with Charlie and Rogue and both listened patiently and seemed to understand the value of this type of "awareness." Before I got my drank, Rogue asked me if I had come alone, which I had. She then waited a few seconds before she invited me to party with her and Charlie. Rogue's strength in X-men was one of muscle and might, this Rogue's strength was one of heart and character. While I danced with Rogue and Charlie others joined our circle. My favorite person that grooved with us was the one that was wearing the pink ugggz. I love when others remind me to smile, even though guns exist in the world. The joint itself describes itself a rooftop bar, and i can see how that description works but also how it falls short. The bar sits on the 21st floor but it has a roof so can it be a rooftop bar when the joint has a roof? The place did not had walls, though, it had windows, with pillars and plexy for protection but no window glass. The cool air of Fall wafted in, and hit the sweaty dancers just right. I was not cold, I felt the crisp of the air, not a breeze, not the wind, but the pleasant chill of air a few wonderful degrees from cold. The buildings were right in front of me. I did not see buildings from the sidewalk, I did not see buildings from the 71st floor, I saw the LA Skyline at eye level, which meant that I danced with them. They were still, unmoving, but they dance with design, light, and structure that I had not seen before, cause today, we saw each other eye-to-eye. This environment was new for me, and one I appreciated as a life time Angeleno. It was the city's coolness, all around me, both in vibe and temperature. Dancing with my city, made me feel like a twirl confidently cause I had the support of the city all around me. I also could not help but be proud of parting with Rogue, and Charlie and all others, which summed to an eclectic cloud, because they had invited me to party with them in a way that made me feel included. So when I went alone to a club I made new friends that invited me to dance and really isn't that what most solo club goers hope for? Came on a Friday night. Was able to find parking on the street. We came at 10pm and a line formed really quickly. Free entry until 10:30pm. Very nice view of the city. People dancing at the nice little dance floor. There was a taco stand in the lounge. 3 tacos were $12. Quesadillas were also $12. Got a Cosmopolitan and Adios for around $20 each. You can expect to pay $20 per drink before tax. Both drinks were really good. Liked that there are seats available for anyone. The restroom was really small. read more

I recently tried contacting Elevate Lounge with a question about the venue. I first reached out using the email address and phone number listed on their official website. After waiting six days without receiving any response by email or text, I decided to try contacting them through their Instagram page. Unfortunately, the response I received from the person managing the account, who identified himself as Brandon, came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging the delay or offering any kind of apology for the lack of response to my earlier email and text, the conversation quickly became tense. During the exchange, Brandon implied that I was being disrespectful and suggested that I was wasting his time. From my perspective, the tone of the messages felt unnecessarily aggressive given that I had simply been trying to ask a straightforward question after not hearing back for nearly a week. The conversation ultimately ended with me being blocked on Instagram before the issue was ever resolved. At no point during the exchange did I receive any acknowledgment or apology regarding the six days without a response to my original attempt to contact the venue. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that in the past, before the current management, I had communicated with staff through their email regarding bottle service. Those responses were clear, helpful, and very professional. The difference in communication quality compared to my recent interaction was very noticeable. Because the interaction left such a poor impression, I ultimately decided to book bottle service elsewhere, where I was treated with professionalism and respect from the start. Because the interaction was so unexpected, I also looked into the business records for the venue and learned which company operates the lounge. I plan to reach out to them directly to share this feedback, since communication like this can strongly influence someone's impression of a place. For transparency, I've attached screenshots of the conversation. I encourage anyone reading this review to take a look at them and make their own judgment about the interaction. Our group ordered table service here for NYE countdown. I really hate writing bad reviews but this is an honest first and last experience here. The entire RSVP process was super SUS from the get go and you could tell they are super unorganized with the promoters. You text message a number with your name and head count but they never reply back with an actual confirmation number or even a deposit like the majority of other table service at other clubs in LA. The check-in process is a complete chao. There are two lines out front that stretch the block. One line is for bottle service and another for regular entry. With table/bottle service you are suppose to be able to SKIP the line with your entire group. Don't let the cocky security guard tell you otherwise. We all Ubered there so arrived at different times. Lucky our first group already lined up in the bottle service line and got through security, after some incident of them not being able to find our RSVP?? Once you get inside to the lobby there is another hostess that confirms your RSVP booking for a table. Since they use multiple promoters they literally have to call each one to verify you are actually on the "list" if they don't have you written down already. This was our case and another 15 minute wait for them to find our RSVP even after showing them the text message with the promoter. With that settled there's literally only two ways up to Elevate, the 2 elevators or take the stairs up to the 21st floor. Yes we finally got to skip the long line since we finally got VIP treatment from security after they verified us. The Lounge itself is separated into two sections when you exit the elevator. There is the left wing which has the large open wall and where the bars are located. The right wing, where the bathrooms are located are on the closed room side where the dance floor is. Our table was literally in the outside wing in the freezing cold. Yes there is one tiny space heater buts its freezing in the middle of winter and no they won't move you since every table is pretty much reserved. Note we entered the club at around 10pm and got seated around 10:15pm. We tipped the service guy and he nicely rolled down the sun shades to at least block the wind. Our actual assigned hostess didn't show up until 11pm! She said she couldn't find us? Yes they are very understaffed especially with hostess girls! We ordered our 3 bottles and 4 chases juices. She didn't return until 11:30pm, yall know countdown is at 12AM right? Not a good time but we made the most of our situation. No we couldn't finish our bottles since they were delivered them so late and no we couldn't take out our unfinished bottle either. The table next to us has a even worst time as none of there bottles every showed up even when they were seated about 15 minutes after us. They eventually cancelled there table after speaking to the manager. We shared a bottle with them and had a combined group party instead. I mean why waste good bottles and make some new friends for the new year? The bartenders are a complete mess here too since its an open bar so the line wraps around the entire lounge. You're lucky if you don't wait at least 30-45 minutes per drink! Our table was right next behind the bar so we got a first eye view. Good luck trying to go to the bathrooms especially the girls. The bathroom line was literally an hour and almost as long as the drink line. The music was very random with a mix of early 2020 pop to R&B back to EDM and some country? The dance floor is small so be ready to be packed in like sardines but at least you'll be warm? Overall the WORST table service we've ever experienced in the entire world. We've had table service all over DTLA, Vegas, Asia, Europe and never seen such bad service/uncoordinated and simply rude security too. I've visited this club twice, but my most recent experience left a bad impression, largely due to an unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive bouncer. Upon arriving, my cousin and I were waiting in line when the bouncer instructed us to step back to clear space for others. A short while later, he accused us of cutting the line in front of two other guests. Both those guests looked just as confused as we were, as we had been standing there for about ten minutes. My cousin calmly explained this to him, but he was adamant that he hadn't spoken to us before. When I suggested he check the security footage to verify, he dismissively claimed he didn't need to because he "knows what he saw." Instead of handling the situation professionally, he escalated it--getting uncomfortably close to my face and speaking in an unnecessarily dominant tone. At one point, he even reacted sharply when he thought he heard me talking about him, though I wasn't. Afterward, the two guests he accused us of cutting in front of approached us and apologized, saying they didn't understand why the bouncer had reacted that way either. That being said, not every staff member left a bad impression. The bouncer who initially welcomed us into the club was incredibly kind and honestly the highlight of my experience. The bar service itself was satisfactory, though I was shocked by the prices--$24 for a Green Tea shot and $18 for the cheapest shot of vodka I could get. I don't want to make assumptions, but the way my cousin and I--both Black women--were spoken to and treated in this situation felt noticeably different from how others were being handled. Given the circumstances, and the fact that this happened during Black History Month, the interaction left me feeling particularly uncomfortable. While the club has some good aspects, the lack of professionalism with that security guard and the steep drink prices make me hesitant to return. read more

I went dancing here on November 2nd and I loved that people still dressed in Halloween customs! Me and my girlfriends could not find seating due to having to reserve the seats for bottle service. We were just standing there for 15 mins until a gentleman came to the rescue and asked us to sit on his reserved spot. I wished Elevate Lounge had free seating but other than that the music was nice. It's a fun lounge with good music, but it's not actually a rooftop bar; it just has good views! The vibes are pretty good, and I even saw a Yelper when I went one night, haha. My favorite part of Elevate is that they have cheap valet parking for the whole night. To start off, there is a line at the bottom of the building, and the valet is on the side. You get your ID checked and then patted down. Then you go to the elevator and go up to the elevator floor. From there, it's a free for all! There is a bar, dancefloor, and a bunch of bottle-service tables. Each time I went, I had one so we had no problems with seating. The bar lines do get long and messy so it will take forever to get a drink. Ideally if you come be sure to wear decent clothes! read more

I know it's LA but I was skeptical that an old fashioned, beer and two vodka cranberry drinks could add up to $76.85. Came here following a Galentine's dinner while out in DTLA and my friends and I had a blast dancing the night away. I like that the place has glass windows all around to show off the beautiful cityscape and that it's spacious and spread out so that you aren't packed in like sardines in a can. There's plenty of lounge/sofa seating to sit down at and have drinks or chill at or to even take breaks from while dancing. There's a full bar and the bartenders are all friendly. The dance floor was spacious as well and my friends and I all had ample room to move around and dance. The DJ was playing great tunes as well! It was a mix of Hip Hop/R&B and Latin music. On the way out he yells "learn how to drink in moderation!" They weren't even drunk. What a clown. Bartender was a d***head. He was super impatient as my friends and I were trying to quickly decide whether we wanted shots or cocktails. I asked for 2 Paloma's and 2 vodka red bulls. He gave me only 1 vodka red bull then I told him we were missing one more. He got all pissy. He had just finished our transaction, my bf came up and asked if we could add a beer to purchase. He straight up told us to go back in line to order if we wanted it. Bro what? I am literally still standing right here about to sign off on the receipt and you're telling me you can't just do another charge and GRAB a can of beer OUT OF THE FRIDGE to me? We had a table right at the end of the dance floor towards the back so we had a lot of foot traffic in our section. There were employees constantly coming in to mop our area. I get that they're trying to clean up the dance floor as much as they can, but they were pushy and killing the vibe coming in so much. That was a terrible table area to be in. However, the night took a turn when one of your security staff members threw a drink at my feet. Me and my friends really love the place, everything was very well accommodate, the security guards were very nice all the time with people, bathrooms were clean, really cool place. But, the drinks service was very awful, the bartenders were selling the drinks really weird, my 2 boy's friends were buying margaritas for about $30 and all of us girls were buying the margaritas for $21, and we all noticed bc we all bought the individually. I felt so uncomfortable when he began blaming women for having their personal space violated. When i tried telling Brandon I'm not blaming the club he put his finger in my face and told me "i'm not talking to you i'm talking to him (my boyfriend). I don't understand how it's a problem to drink in an establishment that serves alcohol and profits off of people drinking and having fun and yet when my friend isn't safe the finger is pointed at the victim. OMG! We had a blast at Elevate lounge Los Angeles two weekends in a row, celebrating my Birthday and Libra Season! This is the club/lounge to be on Saturday Nights in Los Angeles. Their Bottle service is on point. The Dj did not come to play with us...and brought all the Hiphop favorites...a mix of old school and new school. We literally danced all night! The club ambiance and vibe is dope...the cool high-rise views & breeze on the 21st Floor overlooking DTLA is Dope! And the Manager Jacqui was STELLAR from day one. She is professional, she answered all of my questions, helped me to streamline my special Milestone Bday there, and assured our needs were met. Thanks Jacqui! read more

The best lounge I went to in LA! I am visiting from Orlando and this place was a great mix of good music, good drinks and a open dance floor with plenty of couches to sit. All I can say is I wish I had one of these back home and I would be there very often! read more

I'll try to make a long story short. I went to this place in a group of 4 and one of my friends had her phone stolen. We tried to get help at the front desk and they told us to talk to the manager, I think his name is Brandon. Him helping us consisted of him handing us his card and then saying the club was not responsible in 50 different ways. The worst one was him blaming women for getting their phones stolen by putting them in their purses while they try to enjoy themselves on the dance floor. I would expect this kind of response from some random loser on the street but not the "manager" who is supposed to ensure his guests are safe and having a good time, but I guess that just speaks to the kind of person he is and the club he runs. I would highly suggest avoiding this place as there is a HIGH likelihood of your phone being stolen (security themselves told us 12+ phones were stolen that night), and if your phone is stolen ask for help from anyone but the manager as you will be wasting your time trying to talk to him. If you take down this review I will just repost it using a different account. read more
