BEWARE from ordering from this certain bartender. She'll purposely charge you more than what it is. I ordered a tequila soda (no particular tequila) and two beers somehow it came out to $50. I then confirmed with the head person that works there once I realized what she did (which he agreed that she charged more), he said he was going to talk to her about it and see what he can do. He NEVER came back to sort it out and did absolutely nothing about it.

I stopped in because I saw a TikTok video. The DJ was really good. My drink and the hookah were okay. The staff was friendly.

Service was amazing, the drinks were perfectly crafted. Aeryus suggested a lemon drop with tequila (were tequila girlsss) it was great! The dj was good, the ambiance was chill and fun. Loved the huge disco ball. I was happy to know Aeryus was a Taurus like me. The owner offered us chairs, which we thought she was so sweet for it. Great experience over all!

Ambiance, staff, and vibes here are what make this probably the best bar in LA. 10/10.

A couple of the machines took our coins but the games never started which was a bummer but we just moved on. We later saw people playing on them so it was probably something we did wrong. But this place is a vibe because it commits to its character. It knows who it is portraying to be, and never surrenders its identity based on opinion. Meaning that this place is pretty and pink and a tropical print mixture, and its owns its look. And if you ain't trying to get the vibe that keep on moving. This place is also nestled in the heart of the Arts district next to other bars that know their personality and go spheres-out to claim. So its aesthetic meets the orbiting bars not in style but commitment to its brand,. I went on a night where they were specifically showing a Love Island Episode. Why? Morbid curiosity? Guilty pleasure? A reason to go out. Yes and then some. The place was immediately recognizable by its hot pink door. The door promised a portal and it delivered. As soon as you enter the bar it hits with theme, with neon, with crowd dressed in posh attire. Like I said it was a vibe in pink. When I went to the bathroom the line was only female. The leader of the line was explaining that they could use the male bathroom since no males were there and cue my entrance. A few women were already inside and I waited until the line leader said it was ok to go in. I implict take away is that this night was women heavy. Like the shows fan base was mostly young chicks. Who knew? I have been to a few soccer games at bars in the recent past and of course there is a lot of expressions of enthusiasm and commentaries as the game progresses. The bar was set up in the same way. The tvs were there, showing the game, and I wondered if they were going to collectibely gasp and root as the episode continued I saw that they did. When an Islander said something impactful the crowd reacted. It was like seeing a game and enjoying it but here it was relationship dynamcis/drama unfold. And people were here for it. In fact, as I was waiting to order my drink, I heard customers behind me analyze the drama as sports fan analyze a game. And they were ciomparing different seasons. Apparently season six made the guy behind him feel uncomfortable because it was too freak. Either that season or this season had toe sucking. So there was history in this game that led to fan reactions and follow up insight. They were invovled fans. And this was the congregation for involved fans. I went to live the dream of a fan who would die for this and could not come. I eventually gave up on a drink the line was too long.

The ambiance has a perfect speakeasy vibe with its dim lighting and relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to just hang out and grab a quality drink. The cocktail program here is absolutely phenomenal. I am pretty picky when it comes to whiskey, and since Manhattans are my absolute favorite, my expectations were high. They mixed an incredible Manhattan that was perfectly balanced with the right sweet vermouth, and their Old Fashioneds are crafted with an attention to detail that really lets the spirits shine through. We also ordered a few Paper Planes, and they were dangerously good, hitting that perfect sweet and sour note that makes you want to immediately order another round. It is not just the incredible drinks that make this place stand out, but the exceptional service from the bartenders. They are super knowledgeable and treat craft cocktail making like a true art form, all while keeping the vibe laid-back and welcoming. If you are looking for an unmatched whiskey selection and a fantastic atmosphere in Los Angeles, this place is an absolute must-visit. Easy 5 stars for sure.

Having been here many times over the past decade, I've discovered some great bourbons, scotches, and had some great cocktails. But those days are unfortunately in years past. In a place that prides itself in its whisky, the bartenders are sorely lacking in their knowledge around their own bar. With an extensive selection, I don't expect them to know everything, but bartenders not knowing what is meant by a neat pour (straight out of the bottle into the glassware, no ice, and not mixed) was unexpected. I'm getting the impression that while they still mix old fashioneds, a scotch such as Ardbeg is now an unusual and baffling request. I've been here a handful of times in the past few months, and it can be lively or dead, but it's now just any other bar. If you want a fun cocktail you can find anywhere else, this place will do, but unfortunately it's lost what has separated this bar from any of the other bars in dtla.
