He also saw us, even though I got the times wrong and checked in 15 minutes after our appointment. I was handed an estimate of our services and asked how I'd like to care for it. He checked my toddler's arms for a vein and then sought to consult with a colleague. His colleague came back, checked again, and agreed that what he had found previously would work. She was very gentle with my toddler, and it was, to my surprise, the smoothest process I could ever imagine. They both complimented her on how well she handled it (zero tears), and she was rewarded with stickers by the female tech. The male tech let us out the door at 4:39 pm, and I thanked them for their patience with us. As someone who works with the general public, it was all handled exactly as I would have performed it, from our experience to others we saw.

The first Dr. was wonderful and totally got it. She helped me move toward stability. I was bereft when she left and wasn't formally notified. I got two scheduled calls from Dr. Courtney Mosley after my initial Dr. left, technically the first had to be rescheduled because she hung up before I got to the phone, and although I called right back, I got voicemail. Their phones were down. On the first official call, we caught up on where I was at to date, because she was not prepared for the call, and the "treatment" I was told to do was to envision a goal. On the second call, Dr. Mosley was again not prepared, as their computers were down, she gave me zero feedback on the meal plan I spent time creating at her request, and the "treatment" was to forgive someone. I paid thousands and thousands of dollars for someone, who as CEO, couldn't pick up my dropped ball and run with it. She was the 9th doctor I consulted for my extreme symptoms and was abandoned to manage my own care. I unofficially have a diagnosis for something they don't want to touch with a 10 foot pole, which would not prevent them from treating me from the other symptoms and for my general health. The office stopped returning my texts, and I called last week and left a voicemail asking for follow up/closure, and no one has returned my call. I would very seriously reconsider using this practice for integrative health medicine. Dr. Mosely talked such a good game in the initial video I watched too, so this was super, super disappointing to be abandoned, and I am out thousands of dollars and managing my own symptoms with ChatGPT and my primary.

I opened the door to ask and was told there were still two people in front of me. I asked if we could reschedule or do anything as I drove a long way on break from work. The reply was "no" and I was to "just wait." Other reviews show wait times of 2 hours. This is unacceptable unless there is an emergency. Short staffed and poor planning is not an emergency. I left without seeing the doctor or support. Not a great way to treat anyone. Disappointed the VA/VES partners with such a poor clinic.

Key issues: * Unqualified staff handling medical intake: My "front desk" contact and the person who weighed me, took my vitals, and gathered my medical history turned out to be an aesthetician/laser tech, not a licensed nurse or medical assistant. This was never disclosed up front. * Delayed and inconsistent communication: Messages and emails often came weeks late, sometimes signed by the provider but sent from the aesthetician, which was very confusing. * Poor hormone management: Instead of adjusting carefully, all three hormones (estradiol, progesterone, testosterone) were doubled at once based on outdated labs. This led to massive swings in my levels -- from dangerously low to excessively high -- with no timely re-testing. Requests for labs at 6-8 weeks were dismissed, leaving me symptomatic and in the dark for months at a time. * Provider focus elsewhere: The main clinician splits time between a hospital job and this spa, and a location in Franklin and it shows. Patient care feels like an afterthought. Bottom line: Hormone replacement therapy requires careful titration, close follow-up, and trained medical professionals.
