Totally disappointed with this place. will not be back. I LOVE Five Guys, so I thought that Elevation Burger would be just as good, if not better, because they boast about how much better their burgers are and their healthier options. Well, I didn't really go for a healthy option, I got the Elevation Burger, with just lettuce. First of all the girl at the counter was totally disinterested and couldn't deal with the fact that me and my boyfriend were trying to decide what we wanted. She actually SIGHED at us for taking too long. I also got french fries with cheese. So the burger.....was disgusting! There was so much grease dripping from the burger the entire wrapper was see through, and the bottom of the bun was saturated in grease. It wasn't even in the top 10 best burgers I've ever had (top goes to Bobby's Burger Palace). The fries were delicious, but I ended up eating my boyfriend's plain fries because the cheese was a handful of shredding cheese thrown on top of the fries, barely melted into a big blob into the middle of the fries. Burger joints are poppin up everywhere with each trying to differentiate themselves.. Elevation Burgers is no different. Their take on differentiation seems to be on being Eco-friendly and using organic ingredients. While it's great to be Eco-friendly, tasty burgers is what sets a burger place apart from others. I ordered a hamburger (single pattie), fries and drink. Their elevation burger comes with two patties like Five Guys. The burger was not bad. It was cooked correctly and still juicy when it arrived. Fries were fresh cut as the fry cutter was right behind the counter with someone cutting potatoes while we ordered. The fries were a bit too skinny for my taste and almost tastes like potato sticks out of the bag. (if you like Five Guys fries, these may disappoint) Employees came around and cleared our table after we were done so I was happy with the service. Overall, the burger was decent. Skinny fries didn't work for me. Service was good. If you're a Five Guys fan, then Elevation Burgers will probably not take your top spot. read more

I wish I could review the food here, but we never even got that far. First off - THEE noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. It would have been quieter eating on an airport tarmac. I can never understand how that doesn't bother more people, but I find it very difficult myself to sit and comfortably eat a meal in such a horrendously loud environment. Conversation? Not a chance. But it was a really nice day outside, so our original plan was to grab one of the outside tables. So, with one customer ahead of us, we stood for 8 min waiting to order. Now, this one customer was a man with 3 young kids, so of course we do realize that getting an order together for a group like that does take some extra time. So we patiently waited......and waited. Then it was finally our turn - the cashier walked right past us and started taking the order for the 2 people that came in behind us like 1 min before. I said "excuse me" to try to get the cashier's attention.....than "EXCUSE ME" a bit louder.....but to no avail. As like I said, it was so un-godly noisy, he couldn't even hear me, unless I had literally screamed, and I wasn't about to resort to that. So my wife says "let's get out of here. This place is a joke" and we went across the lot to Red Robbin.....which was an outstanding burger, BTW. Our first time there also. Anyway, from the numerous other reviews I've read on the food, doesn't sound like we missed much anyway - excessively greasy burgers on standard garbage fast food buns and soggy fries are not something I would have gotten overly excited about anyway. For the longest time the world of burgers (as it pertained to Southeastern Pa) was split into two categories: Fast Food & Sit Down Restaurant. It was a simple time... an easier time, but the winds of change blew in and what they left behind was the was the bastard love child of a Wendy's and an Applebees known as Five Guys. People lost their ish over Five Guys. While I never took to the place I respected it sort of like I do a frontiersman. The first is rarely the best but it opened the door for places like Shake Shack, Burger Fi, and Elevation Burger. It's a lot like You Got Served. Was it the best flick? Absolutely not! But it paved the way for classics like Step Up, Stomp The Yard, and the straight to DVD gem You Got Served 2: Beat The Earth. So in a roundabout way because of Five Guys, boo and I found ourselves on a snowy Sunday evening standing at the counter at Elevation Burger preparing to order a nice little snack. EB had all the typical toppings you'd expect to find at a burger joint of this ilk with the addition of elevation sauce (more on that later). What sets EB apart from some of the others is their attention to whole foods and environmental sustainability. Beyond grass fed beef and organically "clean" cheese the building itself is designed for energy efficiency. I can appreciate all of these things ...as long as the food is up to par, and for the most part it is. We both ordered the basic double cheese burgers with various toppings. There was only one other couple in the place and food came out in about 5 minutes which always a plus. We both ordered elevation sauce however neither of us got any and boo ordered grilled onions which were missing as well. The good part about the missing ingredients is that it leaves us with a little mystery about just what was this elusive elevation sauce all about?? The bad part about it is that the joint was about as slow as it could get and they still managed to leave stuff off the burgers, c'mon son! Still, what we did receive was hot, cheesy, juicy, and satisfying however it wasn't going to win any awards at the Annual Lower Providence Burger Cook-Off (completely made up so don't try to enter). If I come across an EB and I'm hungry I certainly would have no problem hitting it up, however I was expecting more out of this last experience. read more

I really found this place to be quite delicious! We got the Elevation burger wrapped in lettuce since we are on the no wheat bandwagon... The food was good. The service is pretty good as the place isnt always packed and the food comes out on time. The food is delicious, I love the taste of the burger and the cheese. It is a fine place to grab a quick meal if you are right there in the shopping center. I had the chicken sandwich and thought $6.50 was at least $1 too much. The bread was fresh, chicken was good and I added carmelized onions. My fault I didn't add a sauce cauz It was a bit dry. Hubby enjoyed his burger. Small order of fries were very good. This place is a competitor to 5 guys burger. A competitor like the ugly fat girl that thinks she's just as good looking as the captain of the cheerleading squad, but just a little less skanky. I'm not a huge fan of this place. The special sauce is meh at best. The burgers are somewhat dry. I tried it protein style or whatever it's called with just lettuce and it was flavorless and dry. I've had it with bread, which makes it better. Maybe the bread has more grease or catches more grease to add flavor. You do get a lot of fries. They are thin and sickly looking. Almost cooked to a crisp and the best part of this location is, they assume everyone orders fries. So if you want to play the odds, you can just skip ordering and you may get a free order. Or if someone in your party orders, you have an even higher chance of getting free fries. Everyone loves free fries. It seems that upscale burger joints are taking storm in this country: Elevation, 5 Guys, Smashburger (which we have yet to have in this area). Whatever happened to the old dive joint? I will say that I do like that they use organic, grass fed beef, as well as healthier oils to fry in, but people, do not mistake this for being a healthier meal. It's still fast food. The burgers aren't bad. They're a little greasy (still yummy) and a little on the small side, and if you get too many toppings, it is extremely messy. Another thing is that they use organic ingredients, but who knows what their buns are made of, and if you REALLY want to impress me, use organic ketchup. They probably use regular old Heinz, which means my kid can't have his beloved "dip-dip" because I don't want to deal with the fallout the next day. Obviously it's not Burger King, so it's a little pricier, though I don't know exactly how much pricier, I haven't had BK in YEARS. For a family of four, (two adults, two small kids), a couple of elevation burgers, a couple of cheeseburgers and two orders of fries will run you about $25-30 bucks. The fries are really good though. They do have a frequent buyer stamp card thingy, and if there are four or more people, you can pretty much fill them up in one visit, which means you could always have a free burger. I wanted to like Elevation. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. The cows (I imagine) were happy cows that frolicked in a field and listened to cool music. They offer milkshakes, which are the achilles heel for Five Guys, IMO. BUT... the burger was dry. Plain and simple dry. Grass fed has less fat, people. Learn to cook the thing properly, please? I assume this may have been an anomaly, but there is little grey area when it comes to a burger joint improperly cooking a burger. You cook hundreds a day, and you know when you have cooked one too long. Shame on you for trying to feed me it. Fries cooked in olive oil are healthier for me, right? No thanks, save the healthy and give me thicker cut fries with more flavor than a napkin! Maybe some folks like the shoesting fries. I find them less appealing. Long story short, Food here is so awesome, when you get what you ordered! You may think that's odd "get what you ordered", so 50% of the times I've gone here, over 15 in a year, you don't get what you ordered. For example bacon is $1.75, it's awesome bacon, but most of the time I pay for it on my burger and it doesn't have it on it when it comes out. When this happens they throw some in there fryer and bring it out to your table 5 minutes later, five minutes is a long time when you have a hot burger in front of you and you are hungry. Another perfect example is when you ask for a side of something, like I love their balsamic Dijion but it's a little overwhelming on top of the burger. I always asked for it on the side, and when my food comes out I always have to go up to the front desk and wait in line to get a side of balsamic Dijon. You might say that's no big deal, but when it happens every time it kind of sucks. This place is a disaster. It's too many kids working here and not enough supervision. I placed a phone order, paid on arrival, sat for 20 minutes and lo and behold my order had been sitting in a bag getting cold. The manager offered coupons for a return visit but that doesn't help when you're sitting with hungry children. Elevation is the only place we go for take out burgers. Our first visit was National Harbor and we generally go to Wynnewood. Unfortunately we will have to return to Collegeville to use the coupons. Maybe the experience will be better. read more

Food seemed to be an exact copy of Five Guys but a tad more "eclectic" to suit the area and the lifestyle mall it is situated in. Staff was your typical kids who don't always pay attention. Why is this place not rated higher? I don't know, been coming here for years. They keep revamping their menu and that throws me off the loop a bit. But, still the best place in the area for organic burgers. They genuinely taste good. Try the burger in the lettuce wraps, it's delish. The shakes are awesome too. Have been here before but not in awhile so here we go. Three burgers all had the same issues. Burgers were dry beef on a crumbling roll. Asked for ketchup and mustard and got so little you could not taste it. Fries were good as I remembered. Place was super clean and the staff was great! Placed an order thru Uber Eats and paid for it online. Went to pick it up and the kid says they can't get orders thru Uber Eats now. I said we already paid for it. He said try to get a refund. Myself and my family just moved to the area. We wanted to make the evening meal simple, and decided to try elevation burger. Upon arriving, I sat and watched a young man fumble at making an order, which at the time, I assumed to be someone else's, because it was far from correct from my order. Lo and behold though, my name is eventually called and that's the bag I was given. Upon telling them it was completely incorrect, rather than try to correct the issue, they started trying to explain why I was wrong, until I pulled out my order slip to physically show them what it was supposed to be. I watched the new order like a hawk and only focuses on the burger, not realizing until I was home, that they also forgot an order of fries. Not only was the food soggy and lack luster at best upon eating, but you could tell it was thrown together as if they were angry they had to fix an error. This should not be the experience a new customer is receiving, because I can tell you this, I'll take shake shack or five guys over this any day. Great burgers! The meat is noticeably superior to regular burgers anywhere else. They could use more types of cheese, IMHO. Although the aged cheddar is very good. The only con's I see would be lack of an ice cold beer to match the burger and the price is a little high to eat here as much as I would like to. Better than Shake Shack, Five Guys, and Cheeburger Cheeburger!! This was our first time trying Elevation Burger and Jake D the cashier was absolutely phenomenal. Extremely friendly, personable, AND he made me try my burger without Lettuce. WHO HAS A BURGER WITHOUT LETTUCE? But it was good. We didn't want to put our burgers down. John M on the grill makes one slam-damn-thank you- ma'am burger. The fact that he turned the patties over to get rid of the extra grease is just awesome. Most places just throw the burger on the bun grease and all. Sean D has fantastic ideas for food. Who would have thought to put a fried egg over cheese fries. But an establishment can only run as smoothly as its leadership and James L is doing a great job. I went to elevation burger with my boyfriend yesterday and we both had a great experience. We both got burgers which were delicious. We also got cheese fries (melted cheddar on top -- LOVE! , not that fake "cheese sauce" bs). I got a coffee milkshake and he got a chocolate milkshake with bananas (mix-ins are free!). The icing on the cake was how wonderful the manager was. He was in a positive, upbeat mood and made us feel very welcome. Overall just great customer service. I eat gluten free so he made sure to include that I have a gluten allergy when placing the order. He also checked up on us a few times to make sure we were still doing good. Only downside is that it was a tad pricey but for the quality of the food and the customer service, it was well worth it! read more

You can't not try this place because it's yummy and i made the accidental mistake of looking at their instagram posts of oozing cheese. But be prepared to spend $15 for just their signature burger (it's a double), fries and a drink. Similar to shake shack with different fries.. these are more shoe string. The place must tickle my taste buds, because every time I am in Collegeville, I look for an excuse to go to this outdoor mall and have a burger, that is a Vegan Burger. Friends grab the cow burger and they are pleased. The fries are delicious most of the time. Sometimes they come out a bit overcooked, or not piping hot. The veggie burger takes longer than fries most of the time and the fries sit on counter waiting for the burger and cool off. Bun is great, fresh onion and tomato are always fresh and not acidic. Vegan burger is not made in house, but coupled with fries, bun, tomato and onion the meal is delicious. A major step above the veggie burger at Burger King. Give it a try. read more

Burger was NOT their regular meat and on a level of a frozen mcdonalds or worse.. fries were also Not their normal and just pieces or ends. Only thing good was the shakes. My all time fav. Location for E.B!!!! best service EVER! SO kind! so Caring SO compassionate! Soooo, awhile back my friend and I really wanted milkshakes! But we were coming back from rock-climbing and we made it there LITERALLY in the very last minute before close! The manager was so wonderful! We asked if we were still able to get food, and her first response was to ask us whether or not we wanted to eat inside, not because she intended to kick us out, but because she hoped we wouldn't mind that they were cleaning because of closing! She then asked us if it was ok that they locked the doors, and other such ordinary closing procedures while the food was cooking. WE WERE IN HER HOUSE, AT HER MERCY, AND ALL SHE WANTED TO BE SURE OF IS THAT WE HAD GOOD SERVICE! THIS GOES FAR BEYOND WHAT ANYONE SHOULD, APPROPRIATELY, EXPECT FROM A SERVICE PROVIDER!!! This was my second time ever going to Elevation Burger, the first was in 2010 at the Wynnewood location where I remember the burgers being not quite as tasty as others I've had. But this one was a nice time. The atmosphere was nice and clean, and I had heard things about the Wynnewood location being a dirty mess (again, I went there six years ago and remember next to nothing from it), so it was nice to see that this one was well maintained. After placing my order, I sat outside because it was so nice out, and that's a definite plus at this time of year. My food came out to me pretty quickly, around five minutes - again, I had heard things of the Wynnewood location taking as much as at least a half hour for some orders. The burger and fries were tasty, moreso than I remember them being formerly. However, I will agree with the people that mentioned that there was a lot of grease on the burgers, as there were a few times where it felt hard to hold in my hand. I also found it weird that the vegetables were placed below the patty instead of above them. And of course, I noticed how high the prices were compared to the likes of, say, Five Guys or Smashburger, but judging by the reviews here it appears that's a typical thing for organic items. So it wouldn't be my very first go-to choice for burgers, but I would definitely go back. Props! read more
