Dr. Eli is an excellent orthodontist. He's not the first orthodontist that I've taken my children to, but he's the best. My oldest daughter had phase one with another orthodontist in Mission Viejo. She hadn't even completed her first phase and he was already telling me that we needed to start the second phase. It made me suspicious. Plus, he didn't have convenient office hours. So I started looking around for a new orthodontist. We had consults at three other offices and Dr. Eli's office stood out above the rest. First, he said my daughter didn't need to start immediately with the second phase. We ended up waiting about 6 months before she started. Second, he's a family man. He has photos of his family around the office and talks of his kids often. One thing I couldn't believe, but it's true, is this. The day my oldest daughter got her braces on we got a call during dinner. It was Dr. Eli. He was calling to check on my daughter and see how she was feeling. I couldn't believe it. This is something that I'm sure would have happened back in the 1950's or 1960's, but not now. People are too busy after they leave the office to worry about their patients. Not Dr. Eli. He should have been spending time with his three small children and wife, but he was calling our house. Dr. Eli really cares about his patients. His staff is awesome. Kym always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to make you feel like part of the orthodontic family. Dr. Eli is the best! I was referred to him by my dentist and I was super happy I went to him for my Invisalign treatment. I wanted to straighten my teeth for my wedding so I had a limited amount of time. He made the treatment work for my timeline. He arranged the Invisalign trays so that I would have a month break for when I was out of town for my wedding and honeymoon. This meant extra work for Dr. Eli, but he did it anyways. During the month break, he removed all the bumps that were on my teeth to help them move better with the Invisalign trays. Then when I returned, he put them back on. I have never heard of an orthodontist who was so accommodating like how Dr. Eli was for me. He allowed me to continue my treatment until I was 100% happy with my teeth. I was so impressed and relieved that he was so supportive of what I was looking for to straighten my teeth. He made everything work for my schedule and I can't thank him enough for making my smile brighter on my wedding day! You can tell that Dr. Eli, Kim & all the staff there really cares about you and making sure you get the smile you want when you are finished. My daughter is completing her treatment tomorrow, & we can't be more pleased with the results! Loved every contact & visit with everyone at the office. They are always very courteous, prompt, thorough, and caring. Quality care every step of the way. After checking out 4 other orthodontists in the area, & getting 4 different treatment plans/higher costs/longer treatments, Dr. Eli gave us an honest evaluation & advised us to wait until a tooth came in, or it would prolong her treatment unnecessarily. Since my daughter is an actress, it was important to her to have them on a minimum amount of time. At the evaluation appointment, I found out that Dr. Eli actually attended college with me in South Dakota (USD), when I was getting my RN degree! I felt at home in the office. My daughter actually LOOKED FORWARD to the appointments. We will miss seeing them as often, & plan on stopping in to say hi to our friends there in the future. read more

Our daughter just completed her final phase and removal of her braces today. We are so thankful and blessed that Dr. Eli provided our daughter's orthodontic care from age 8 until now age 13. Her smile and confidence is beautiful thanks to Dr. John Eli. He is a very kind, caring and professional Orthodontist. He takes the time to go over every treatment and procedure. Our family has known Dr. Eli for many years and even though we live 20 plus miles away one way from his practice it was absolutely our pleasure to make the drive for the past 5 plus years. This drive every 6 weeks is a true testament of how caring and professional Dr. Eli and his staff are. It was worth every mile and then some. We will be making the same commitment in driving 20 miles one way in the next few years as our young son starts his orthodontic care with Dr. Eli. We have three boys who are/were Dr. Eli's patients. One of our boys had his braces removed approximately two years ago and his teeth are perfect now. Before the braces were applied, he was very self-conscious of his smile. I still can't believe the before and after pictures! Dr. Eli did a wonderful job and what a beautiful smile my son has! My oldest is currently in braces and he's about to have them removed within the next three months. I've already seen a dramatic change with his teeth. I absolutely loved my first visit to Dr Eli's office. The whole experience of getting braces is new and apprehensive but, WOW! The energy when you walk thru the door is so positive and friendly. Kym, the office manager, is truly the sweeetest thing- so warm and informative. I had a built in retainer put in by some other orthodontics office and they weren't very friendly and the doctor was very odd ... So I heard that dr Eli was one of the best so I decided to go there and get my retainer removed because it was bothering me... He removed it and replaced it with a retainer that I could wear only at night and he was the sweetest and most professional orthodontist I had been too! I loved the staff and the woman in front who handled my appointments was very professional and kind as well! I defiantly recommend coming here you won't regret it! AMAZING all around! read more

Two kids and two perfect smiles. Our main take away from having both our kids outfitted with braces, besides the fact that they have perfect smiles is the care they received. It was not always easy and there were some complications with the kids teeth but Dr. Eli took the careful patient approach and ensured everyone was comfortable. The results speak for themselves.
