Took my son to have his teeth looked at for braces. They asked for insurance gave that to them. They took us back to take X-rays of his mouth. We went over the X-rays and we had to see 3 people for this. Then the person that checked us in said neither of my insurances covered braces. I laughed because I had the email from my insurance and my wife's they both cover about $1500 together per year on the braces. Then she told me they were going to cost us $7500 for what he needed. This was a joke I thought. We then went to another dentist and they called my insurance and my wife's and said good news. We can give you the cost of $5500.00 total with $3000.00 covered over the life of the braces. It just showed us that laziness will get you know where and not doing your job just means you don't really want my business. read more

I chipped my front tooth in the middle of the week before I was about to leave for a trip the following Wednesday. I got in as a new patient on Saturday morning and they took care of it of the chip, but unfortunately the filling popped off later that night...of course I was bummed out by this since we just fixed it and my trip was in a few days, so I left a message that Saturday night letting them know what happened. Dr. Nguyen called me on Sunday to set up another appointment, and she actually ended up coming in just for me on Tuesday morning since that was the only possible time I could have gotten this done before my trip. She spent a little extra time to make sure everything was perfect, and my tooth is good his new, just in time for my trip! I got an exam and cleaning done by Dr. Nguyen. Same day appointment o His receptionist Delanie is nice and I didn't wait at all to be seen. I got walked in and was given a gift bag w a plastic cup inside. Nice touch. The dental aide gave me a tour of the office. After my digital X-rays were taken in chair, Dr. Nguyen came out and introduced himself. He made sure to tell me his priority is my oral health. He spent a good amount of time -examined me and explained his treatment plan thoroughly. I was really nervous and the doctor was SO PATIENT W ME. I moved here recently and needed to find a dentist. I liked what I read about Twin Peaks on Yelp. I've had my teeth cleaned and metal fillings replaced this past month. Super experience all around. Jane is kind, helpful, and welcoming. The doctors are both excellent. They work to minimize discomfort and explain what is happening along the way. I knew what I was paying and what my insurance would cover up front. I'd also add that Dr. Ly made emergency room in their schedule last week after my wife fell and injured her mouth and nose. Dr. Ly helped us understand what was happening now and what to watch for over the next couple of months. My wife's fall was super stressful. She saw doctors for her nose, wrists, teeth, and yesterday, her lower back. Appointments were difficult to schedule, but Twin Peaks made things easy when other things were hard to solve. I have recently switched to Twin Peaks Dental and could not be happier with the office and the staff. I have had not so great experiences with other dentists and tended to shy away. I met Dr Nguyen and Dr Ly as their son plays volleyball with my son and asked if they would take me on as a patient as I hadn't been in a couple years. Terrible experience! I visited this office quite some time ago and have been meaning to leave a review. Every time I need dental work, I'm reminded of this crappy place. To start, I got my X-ray taken for about 45 minutes with X-ray equipment I haven't seen used since I was a small child that was operated by a guy who was apparently in the same boat. He'd move the arm and take a tiny shot and repeated and had to start over, I shit you not, like 12 times. Then some lady comes in to talk to me about why I'm there and proceeds to make excuses why she can't do anything about any of the items I brought up other than change a filling that was hurting (but I'd have to make a separate appointment to even do that). I had some roughness starting to form on my front teeth which she didn't so much as glance at before saying "Oh, that's permanent. Nothing you can really do about that." Hmm, are you sure you don't want to look at it or, I dunno, ask me a couple of questions about it at least. I'd think some information gathering would be a basic tenet of making a diagnosis. But okay, I guess she wasn't feeling like it (I later got it treated elsewhere). I told her about two crowns being messed up, they tear my cheek open every time I chew. She then pointed me to the dentist who originally did them. I mean, seriously? I'm right here asking if you can fix this and AGAIN you don't even look at it and tell me to go to the guy who caused the problem in the first place. Now we're adding neglect onto the laziness. (Had to get this fixed elsewhere as well. Maybe cleanings and fill-ins is all they know how to perform. Wouldn't be surprising with their decades out of date equipment) I had a surgery coming up, so I did not set the appointment for the fill-in replacement as I left. I told them I'd get back to them about it, both because I was going to be recovering from a surgery in the very near future and because I wasn't sure I was going to come back after paying for a visit where absolutely nothing I came in for was addressed (though I didn't tell them the second part because I was going to think about it). Somehow, it gets worse. Their office staff called me a few days later after my surgery and I told them again that I'd reach out to them because I'm on medication and can barely walk or change positions comfortably at the moment. She said okay and then proceeded to call me every single week. Eventually it got to the point of calling me DAILY!! Seriously, who the fuck calls someone over a dozen times to begin with, much less at such a dense frequency. Not sure if they just keep no notes and don't communicate with each other about whose been called or if they're just lacking that much common sense. Probably a little bit of both. Finally, after getting another call after just receiving a voicemail the day before, I spelled it out for one of the girls to stop calling me. "Can you guys please stop calling me every day? If I want to set up an appointment, I have your number." I was pretty polite despite the extreme rudeness of their contact methods and the girl still sounded offended, "Oooo kay. Sure..." I mean, did I say something confusing? I told them I'd reach out to you on the very first call I received and they've called me over and over and over again. Ridiculous. I don't know how they have these good reviews. Coupons? Discounts? Maybe it's people getting their first fill-in? Which is fine and dandy, but if you need actual dental work, look elsewhere. read more

Dr. Nguyen runs a very organized dental office. His assistants Monica and Esmerelda are polite and courteous. They send reminders via text and email so I dont miss an appointment. When i was sick, i couldn't stop sneezing, so Dr. Ly rescheduled my cleaning for the following week. Hassle-free. Direct communication. Efficient and quick procedures. Conveniently located next to my gym, bevmo and smart & final where i can find many sumptuous delights to sink my teeth into. I've been going to Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Ly for all my dental needs for years. I recently called in not knowing my dental problem. I had a swollen cheek and numb gums. He knew exactly what had to be done and set up an appointment for me immediately for wisdom teeth extractions. The next day I came in and sat in the chair with crushing anxiety, but Dr. Nguyen and his staff worked at my pace making sure I was ok every step of the way. With his careful craftsmanship, I had 2 wisdom teeth removed and with no pain during or after. After the extraction I was able to return to my daily routine within a day. Of all the dentistries I've gone to, Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Ly have been the most trustworthy and reliable. Not only that but their staff deliver and their office has a warm ambience.
