We also got a runner for a hall and some pillows. We are very pleased with the excellent attention to detail, the effort Mina Rouzati, Mr Rouzati, Anthony, Ali Rouzati and all the staff put in to make sure we were happy with the results. They showed us many rugs, spent a lot of time with us and made creative suggestions that helped us immensely. We also appreciated that we had different options for different parts of the house, and could get both utilitarian and handmade wool carpet. This time when our dining room rug died I thought, I'm finally going to get a *real* rug. I did some research on buying Persian rugs and frankly was pretty intimidated. But when I walked into Shabahang they were very kind, applying no pressure at all. The man I worked with actually talked me down to a smaller rug, and encouraged me to look for something that I loved and go from there. He quickly picked up on the things I was responding to and pulled some extra rugs from a pile of new arrivals in the back. I selected a rug but was still nervous - would it work in the room (a.k.a. I might suck at choosing a rug)? He told me I could bring it back if the rug didn't work, but that he thought it very likely it would be great. And he was right. I got that rug home and put it down, and the dining room looks 1000% better. The rug is also softer and much easier to clean than the old one. I'm now plotting to replace our living room rug as well, with something from Shabahang.

Originally, we were only looking to restuff the cushions of our couch and love seat with firmer material (which are now extremely comfortable) but ended up also having him completely redo 6 kitchen chairs with new padding, new leather upholstery that matched the old perfectly, and rivets. The chairs look and feel amazing! Additionally, Al restored the leather on a 20 year old recliner and it looks like new. It was a pleasure to work with Al. He is extremely responsive and helpful, and the workmanship is top quality. We extended the life of every piece we brought him by years! It was a three bedroom with living and dinning area about 1000 square feet. He quoted $450 +/- over the phone when he got on site he said he would do it for $438 and said it would take about 2 1/2 hours to complete, the work included cleaning/shampooing all the carpet and cleaning all stains (which were verv small in size). My mother kept a very clean home and the carpet wasn't in bad shape to begin with. Eric said he was finished 1 1/2 hours into the job so I went to look at the work and right away looking to see if the spots/small stains had been removed where we discussed prior to starting and they were still there and not cleaned completely. He did remove rust spots from under the dresser legs in my mother's bedroom that we discussed, but after shampooing rust spots appeared under the coffee table legs in the living room. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with finishing a job earlie if the work is complete and done well, but in this case the worker (Eric) did finnish earlie and the work was definitely not complete. After he left l looked closer to areas of the carpet that didn't look shampooed and they were dry to the touch, they weren't even shampooed. This is why the carpeting didn't have that uniform patterned look to it because it was not completely shampooed. At a cost of $438 dollars divided 1.75 hours (he did come back for 15 minuts to clean some of the spots he missed) that comes to $250.28 per hour! That sounds to me like a great rate, if you can get it do a good job and keep your customers happy. For one more hour of his time he could have done a quality job still put very good money in his pocket and had a happy non complaining customer. 4/30/26

I own an older home and as they began to sand the floor it was apparent that some of the floorboards had to be replaced. They seamlessly installed them and I can't even tell there was a repair. I have also had them make custom runners for me which I love and have held up well. I recommend them to my clients when they need new carpet or floor repairs, and they always do a great job. They are easy to work with. Numerous options in the way of flooring to choose from. Karastan carpeting is the way to go if you want a carpet that will last the test of time.
