The work was good when it was eventually finished, but we suffered through repeated delays and the process was chaotic.

I went with LVP for both. Tom (the son) came out and measured, and he gave me a variety of quotes for different scenarios (living room + bedroom, living room + bedroom + hallway + kitchen +bathroom when I was briefly considering doing floors throughout my entire condo). I got quotes from multiple local flooring companies and installers, and ultimately decided to go with Central Rug based on the pricing, a recommendation from a neighbor who recently used them, and the convenience of not having to acquire the floors myself. (One other installer was less expensive, but I would've had to do all the ordering and take delivery of pallets, which was a no-go for me). Tom and everyone in the store were super nice. I took home several samples several times as I tried to figure out what I wanted, and they were very accommodating. Once I found what I wanted, which took a few weeks because I'm indecisive, it was easy to get things ordered and set up. There was a slight scheduling issue with the contractors they used for the install -- they thought it was supposed to all be one day job instead of two half days. (I needed the two days to move things around because my place is small, so I basically had to move everything into the living room when they did the bedroom and vice versa, so it couldn't have been a one-day job). Originally it was supposed to be a Thursday/Friday install, but when they came on Thursday they said they weren't available on Friday so they came Saturday instead. That actually worked out better for me because it gave me more time to get things cleaned and moved around. But, I had arranged my work schedule on Friday to be able to be able to accommodate the flooring install. If my work was less flexible and I had used PTO and then not been able to have the install done that day, I would've been annoyed lol. It all worked out though. The installer duo was also very nice and efficient -- they took maybe 2.5 hours per room from start to finish. My building also has a "no construction before 9am" policy on Saturdays, so they were extra quiet between their arrival around 8:15am and 9am. I didn't realize that they don't caulk the baseboard/quarter-round until I happened to ask about it when they did the living room. They kindly did so for me, but because they hadn't in the bedroom, I had to go out and buy caulk and DIY it -- they said they usually don't do it because they let the painters take care of it, but because I'm not painting my rooms that wasn't part of my plan. I was able to caulk it easily enough and fill in the holes from the nail gun in the quarter-round with spackle -- not a big deal, but just something to be aware of so you can plan accordingly! I would absolutely use Central Rug and Floor again, but I would just confirm and double check the installation schedule the day or two beforehand.

He is sincere, honest and truly cares about your needs. He lets you know if there is a delay or a problem. I felt that I was in good hands. He told me all I needed for the floor. The supplier he deals with is top notch. Then came delivery/installation. I was immediately was put at ease with the worker he sent. I wanted to keep him. He did a nice job installing the floor. As soon as there was a little dust or mess there he was with his broom and vacuum. I love my floor. I did not even have to get use to it. My old floor was dark and this one was quite lighter. I do not expect to have any problems now. If I do I have confidence that Charles and his crew would be right here. Carpeting will be done soon. My plan is to go with Charles again. Skip the fast talkers and go with Nationwide Floor and Windows.

We wanted the rug dried out - we couldn't just hang it over a railing bc it was soaking and we had rain in the forecast for the next several - and while many other companies needed us to bring the rug to their site, Minasian said they could pick up our rug that afternoon, clean it at their facility and return it to our house at a date we would schedule. They quoted us a competitive price, their team showed up that same day (on time), their team guys were friendly and professional, and they removed our wet (now useless) rug pad, in addition to taking our rug for cleaning. A few days later, the company called us to schedule home delivery of our cleaned rug. They gave us a tight (30-minute) window - not one of these cases where a company gives you a 4-hour window! - their team arrived on time, and again, the guys were super helpful and friendly. Although we didn't buy a rug pad from Minasian - we got one from elsewhere online - their team cut our rug pad (at my request) to fit our rug's size. All around, fantastic service! I recommend Minasian and would use them again.
