They were also extremely accommodating when the scope of our project changed--we decided to refinish the hardwood floors on our stairs and in our office before installation, and they updated the pricing quickly and fairly without any hassle. The installation itself was smooth and impressively well-coordinated. The crew handled removal and install flawlessly, worked efficiently, and clearly knew what they were doing. The finished product looks fantastic. We highly recommend American Carpet Distributors for anyone looking for quality service from a family-run business you can trust. Tip: cash is preferred

With a recommendation from our realtor, Pasquale Recchia, from Christie's @Properties in Chicago, we found Kyle to be professional, helpful in assisting us to make the right choices, and very personable. The installers were professional, quick, and very neat/clean. And the price for our beautiful, soft, new carpeting was about half the price that I was expecting to pay!! I highly recommend American Carpet Distributors for your carpet needs---you will receive wonderful carpeting at a great price with excellent service!

Because I can't match…read morethe living room floors (Mohawk discontinued what I had in there), and the rooms are right next to each other, I decided to redo my living room floors, too, so everything would match. I went with LVP for both. Tom (the son) came out and measured, and he gave me a variety of quotes for different scenarios (living room + bedroom, living room + bedroom + hallway + kitchen +bathroom when I was briefly considering doing floors throughout my entire condo). I got quotes from multiple local flooring companies and installers, and ultimately decided to go with Central Rug based on the pricing, a recommendation from a neighbor who recently used them, and the convenience of not having to acquire the floors myself. (One other installer was less expensive, but I would've had to do all the ordering and take delivery of pallets, which was a no-go for me). Tom and everyone in the store were super nice. I took home several samples several times as I tried to figure out what I wanted, and they were very accommodating. Once I found what I wanted, which took a few weeks because I'm indecisive, it was easy to get things ordered and set up. There was a slight scheduling issue with the contractors they used for the install -- they thought it was supposed to all be one day job instead of two half days. (I needed the two days to move things around because my place is small, so I basically had to move everything into the living room when they did the bedroom and vice versa, so it couldn't have been a one-day job). Originally it was supposed to be a Thursday/Friday install, but when they came on Thursday they said they weren't available on Friday so they came Saturday instead. That actually worked out better for me because it gave me more time to get things cleaned and moved around. But, I had arranged my work schedule on Friday to be able to be able to accommodate the flooring install. If my work was less flexible and I had used PTO and then not been able to have the install done that day, I would've been annoyed lol. It all worked out though. The installer duo was also very nice and efficient -- they took maybe 2.5 hours per room from start to finish. My building also has a "no construction before 9am" policy on Saturdays, so they were extra quiet between their arrival around 8:15am and 9am. I didn't realize that they don't caulk the baseboard/quarter-round until I happened to ask about it when they did the living room. They kindly did so for me, but because they hadn't in the bedroom, I had to go out and buy caulk and DIY it -- they said they usually don't do it because they let the painters take care of it, but because I'm not painting my rooms that wasn't part of my plan. I was able to caulk it easily enough and fill in the holes from the nail gun in the quarter-round with spackle -- not a big deal, but just something to be aware of so you can plan accordingly! I would absolutely use Central Rug and Floor again, but I would just confirm and double check the installation schedule the day or two beforehand.

We wanted the rug dried out - we couldn't just hang it over a railing bc it was soaking and we had rain in the forecast for the next several - and while many other companies needed us to bring the rug to their site, Minasian said they could pick up our rug that afternoon, clean it at their facility and return it to our house at a date we would schedule. They quoted us a competitive price, their team showed up that same day (on time), their team guys were friendly and professional, and they removed our wet (now useless) rug pad, in addition to taking our rug for cleaning. A few days later, the company called us to schedule home delivery of our cleaned rug. They gave us a tight (30-minute) window - not one of these cases where a company gives you a 4-hour window! - their team arrived on time, and again, the guys were super helpful and friendly. Although we didn't buy a rug pad from Minasian - we got one from elsewhere online - their team cut our rug pad (at my request) to fit our rug's size. All around, fantastic service! I recommend Minasian and would use them again.

Alex Mendez came right over and answered all of our questions. First we just wanted carpeting, but then his fair pricing allowed us to have him also install luxurious vinyl plank flooring in our kitchen and foyer. From beginning to end, the process was painless. The installation was PERFECT! Our friends and family look at us like we're amazing re modelers. LOL! It wasn't us... it was Armnali Carpet & Vinyl. Thank you Alex for making us look so good. The problem with remodeling our condo for our daughter was... now we want our primary home to look that good. So, we called Alex once again and discussed our plan to have a movie theater themed living room which required a darker colored carpeting. Alex gave us excellent choices from which to select. It is done and once again, our guests think we're great remodelers. One of my family members said that I'm like a master carpenter. Similar to Spike Lee, I say, "It's gotta be the carpet!" Guess what!? Armnali Carpet & Vinyl is scheduled to install carpeting at another property at the beginning of November... and it's going to be great. He doesn't know it yet, but we're going to remodel our basement. So that means that we're calling Armnali Carpet and Vinyl again. It's the BEST remodeling decision that we've made. Thank You Alex!!! See you real soon!
