    Meatballs and zucchini chips

Just had a beautiful dinner here. The restaurant is tucked in a shopping area on the corner of Durango and Sahara. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is cozy and chic. Perfect volume of music that you can easily carry a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sampled multiple appetizers/ sides and had the salmon and scallops for our entrees. From the appetizers and sides the Greek salad and zucchini chips stood out the most. I've had Greek salad in other restaurants but this was the best I've had. My scallops were delicate and buttery. Service was outstanding. Can't wait to come back.

My family had an amazing dinner here. We ordered the beet salad, the Tsipoura a sea bream, and the lamb chops -- every dish was fresh, balanced, and clearly made with care. The lamb was perfectly cooked, rendered and so very tender. The Tsipoua was one of those specials you wish they kept on the menu permanently. Even the beet salad stood out, which rarely happens. My 9 year old love the red and saved the golden ones for me. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Keiti, who was warm and welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal. Elia has great food, great hospitality, and is a place we'll definitely be returning to.

Another excellent visit. A few of us came for a happy hour night. I love that they have it everyday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the bar area and had a nice comfortable table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was also the bartender and he was very nice and efficient, he explained the wines and food on the happy hour menu. We ordered a whole bunch of stuff to share. The zucchini chips, meatballs, saganaki, a few of the skewers and fries, and dessert. Excellent flavors and wonderfully priced. So glad they added happy hour now. The owner was there when we were leaving and she walked us out and thanked us.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a a great experience eating here with family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. In fact, that the moment you get up from the table, they immediately come by to neatly refold your napkin so everything stays looking fresh and presentable. It's those little touches that make the service truly exceptional. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great drinks, appetizers, ambience, and dessert.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The main course was good, but not great. The service was also pretty good.

If you have ever been to estiatorio Milos, Elia is a Berger version all around due to its better prices, better service, and it's not on the strip! In fact, one of the owners is a former GM from Milo's and brought with him some of the best menu items: Tzatziki with zucchini chips (although it's not in a tower but who cares), char grilled octopus, branzino and more. Elia is our favorite special occasion Greek restaurant in town. We haven't been back to Milos ever since we discovered Elia back in 2018. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their new location is cozy yet classy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Servers are on point with recommendations and attentiveness.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Local spot with a more high end feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything extremely fresh. All the seafood and veggies we had were amazing. Always nice eating here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice chill ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Healthy Greek cuisine

They asked me how I wanted my salmon and I said medium rare and they gave me well done. The menu in my opinion is overpriced and the dessert menu is outdated. Every single one of their dessert wines listed were not available and when I asked about alternatives, they were double the price of those listed on the menu.

Elia Authentic Greek Taverna is a very good Greek Restaurant located in Summerlin. They have very nice things on the menu that you don't find at many of the other Greek Restaurants. They also have a large wine selection and offer Greek varieties of fish and offer other nice dinners. They start you off with complimentary house baked bread and a good quality olive oil. We started off by sharing a beet salad and a roasted feta. The beet salad was very good and came with a little bit of skordalia dip. The roasted Feta also was a treat. It came out on a sizzling skillet like a fajita. It was also embellished a really great thick slice of sweet roasted tomato and also came with slices of hot and medium sliced peppers. This was really tasty. For our main we shared the Fagri (special Greek Fish) served table-side with fancy vegetable and a sauce. It wasn't perfection but was reasonably good so I didn't feel the need to complain. I told the waiter it was good. The service was amazing here. We had an incredible waiter that knew everything about all the food and was also very helpful. They also had a very good busboy that cleared every crumb as soon as there was one. I would highly recommend dining at Elia Authentic Greek Taverna.

My husband and I decided to check out the Happy Hour at elia Greek Taverna (off of Sahara) since I love Greek Food and have been looking for a place that is authentic like when I went to Physical Therapy school in Scotland and there was an authentic greek restaurant, "Christos", close to my school. I've been dying to have Halloumi, which is a grilled cheese dish where the cheese does not melt, but browns up like I used to have at Christos and elia has it. I loved the Halloumi and my husband also thought it was really good, but he's never had it so he had nothing to compare it to. We also ordered the Greek Meatballs in tomato sauce off of the Happy Hour menu and it was fantastic! For our main course we split the Lamb Souvlaki plate and that was also super good. The service was also top notch! If you ever get a chance, you should definitely go!

Is the meat you use Halal?

    Unfortunately it’s not

    Do you all take reservations?

Hello Yes we do, either call the restaurant or you can reserve online be through open table

    Is the restaurant dog friendly?

Aside from salads, are there any vegetarian entrees? We our planning at dinner at this restaurant and we have a vegetarian in our group. She's fine with dairy though.

Yes, there are vegetarian items. The fried zucchini appetizer is wonderful. And the spanakopita appetizer is big enough for an entrée. The Dolmathes have no meat in them also. There are probably other things I just can't think of them right now!

Do they have a vegan menu?

Not a vegan menu but vegan options yes, like the gigante beans, mouroli salad (w/o feta), greens, potatoes.

Do you have live music? Are there any bouzoukia in/around Vegas?

Unfortunately we don’t and to my knowledge there is no other Greek restaurant with live music

Is your dinner menu available during lunch hours?

Hello Thank you for your question Yes the dinner menu is available at all times…

Looking for TABLE SIDE SAGANAKI or flaming cheese done OPA style...😁?

Hello Thank you for your question ! We do offer Saganaki cheese but not flamed

We will be in Vegas for our wedding, just 12 people including us bride and groom. We don't want anything fancy but would love a cozy place. Would you recommend Elia for this?

Elia would be an excellent place. You'll need to call ahead a few days and make a reservation. This place is definitely cozy, and with a party of 12 you'd be taking up a majority of the restaurant. Congratulations on your wedding!

Do they have a liquor license and serve alcoholic beverages?

    Yes Sir,beer and wine

When we arrived, we were greeted right away, which made for a welcoming first impression. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and our party of five was seated toward the back. The menu offered plenty of great-looking options to choose from. One thing to note is that the "shareable" appetizers aren't really shareable, at least based on the portion sizes. We also had mixed feelings about the fettuccine pasta and shrimp scampi. Our server explained that if you send a dish back because you don't like it, there's a fee unless you order a replacement from the menu. They do give you the option to choose something else, but it's still something to keep in mind. The atmosphere was definitely a highlight. The décor matched the photos, and the music created a great vibe throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best. Our waitress kept placing everyone's meals at the front of the table instead of handing each person their order, so we had to pass plates around ourselves. She also never came back to refill our waters. It seemed like she may have been having a long shift. As for my meal, I ordered the scallops, blackened salmon, lamb, and the crab cake. My biggest disappointment was the crab cake because it only came with one. While it's not listed as a shareable dish, I expected a little more for the price. The blackened salmon was just okay--I've definitely had better. However, the scallops were outstanding. They were cooked perfectly, and the sauce they were served in was absolutely delicious. Overall, I'm not saying I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, but I'd say to try it at your own risk. One final thing to know is that they charge more if you pay with a credit card, while paying with cash costs less. They also automatically added an 18% gratuity for our party of five. Even though we split the checks, the gratuity was calculated on each person's total, so there was no need to leave an additional tip.

The latter two are vegetarian and I wanted to go for a vegetarian friendly restaurant just for them. The olive oil tasting was my idea so I also had to choose the restaurant. My LTP and I actually went to a different tapas restaurant about a month ago and we loved it. So I wanted to try one of these again. Our tasting was scheduled to start at 6:00pm and I booked a reservation for 4:00pm through OpenTable. They have a very spacious patio, but due to the excessive heat warning in place at the time, we decided to dine inside. I didn't look at their hours of operation beforehand, so when we walked in, it was empty. Then I noticed that they open at 4:00pm on Saturday's and we were literally the first customers inside. We got a spacious table near the back of the restaurant, where our waiter for the day was Zach. He explained to us that all their food on the menu is based out of Spain, especially the paella, which takes about 40 minutes to cook and is meant to serve about two-four people. We started off with some drinks, where I got the mango margarita, my LTP and my dad respectively got the Atomic Duck and the El Pato Loco Mexican Lager from Able Baker, and my mom and my best friend's mom and stepdad shared a bottle of Chardonnay. While the margarita was on a bit of the sweet side compared to other margaritas I've had, it was still really good and it had a really fruity taste to it. We ordered the following and all six of us shared most of them; short rib pintxo, pork belly pave, patatas bravas, ole mis croquetas, iberico dates, and chicken tinga/braise short rib empanadas. Initially, I ordered just the chicken tinga for myself and my LTP was supposed to get the braise short rib, but my plate had chicken tinga and braise short rib together. That was ok, though, because both the chicken and short rib were absolutely delicious. The short rib pintxo came on a stick, with the rib falling off the stick as I took the first bite out of it. The pork belly pave was cooked perfectly. The patatas brava were spicy, but I would say 'good' spicy. The croquetas were overall one of my favorites; when I sliced it down the middle with my fork, the mashed potato filling spilled out of it. Hands down, Tres was a fantastic restaurant. The portions weren't too big or too small and everything here was so good. Would love to sit on their patio when the weather becomes cooler!
