Came here best Yelp by myself late on a Thursday night so not very crowded. Food was excellent. Calamari (not fried/breaded) was excee appetizer as was the beet salad. Eggplant Parm for dinner was very good. Definitely will be back and had a long nice chat with the chef afterwards. This is real Italian food and I will come back and try other things. read more

PHENOMENAL from start to finish! We began with the Beet Salad, followed by the Brunello Signature Pasta and the Pear Fagotti, and of course finished with the tiramisu. Every single dish was outstanding. The flavors were beautifully balanced, layered, and thoughtfully composed -- we truly savored every bite. Even the bread service, paired with their delicious tomato dipping sauce, was memorable. Without a doubt, this was one of the most complex and satisfying Italian dinners we've ever experienced. The pear and Gorgonzola pasta was especially remarkable -- perfectly balanced between sweet and savory in a way we've never had before. It was creative, refined, and absolutely delicious. Oscar, our server, made the evening even better. He was attentive, efficient, and genuinely kind -- especially impressive considering he was handling the floor after multiple staff members had called out. His professionalism did not go unnoticed. Brunello LV is a nice neighborhood Italian Restaurant located in the Sun City part of Summerlin. At the time of my visit they serve wine but are waiting for a full liquor license. Inside is nice with fancy modern tables and chairs and LOTS of Sofia Loren Photos everywhere. All the food and service was good. (meatballs, salads, salmon, desserts) Portions were generous and pricing was reasonable. My only real issue is Table 21 is a pain to be seated at because it's squished too close to bigger tables and people can't get by to use the restrooms. Also the music guy asks you to get up out of your seat because he can't get by either. Parking is close and easy. read more

I came here thinking I would order from the Restaurant Week menu. Instead, I was taken by their menu and decided to do my own thing. Brunello was recommended by a friend and it was one of my bookmarks for a long time. The restaurant is fairly small and attractive. I was served water immediately. The hostess had given me several menus for wine, regular items, and the RW menu. In short order, a server came and I had a few questions. He affirmed that the calamari was a starter for sharing. (Why don't restaurants do half orders for solo diners?) Instead, I ordered the Gamberi al Scoglio for a starter-- 5 large shrimp in as pomodoro sauce with onion, white wine, and olive oil. For the main course, I ordered the mushroom ravioli. Later, I finished with pistachio ricotta cheesecake. I was brought some bread and a dish with tomato tapenade for dipping the bread. In a short while, my shrimp dish arrived. The pomodoro was very hot. The tomatoes, especially the skin, was blistering, but it was OK. One just had to use care when eating the tasty dish. The shrimp were large and the whole dish was very good. Then I was taken aback as I saw my server walking toward me with a dinner plate. Since I had two more shrimp to eat, I was guessing I was getting my ravioli and that's what it was. This is something that I dislike. There should be some break in bewteen courses. Instead, the ravioli sat on the other side of the table while i finished the shrimp. The ravioli was excellent. Mushroom filling in the ravioli and also a lot of mushrooms on top in a sauce. I really enjoyed it. After the dishes were cleared, and a short wait, my server returned and I asked to see the dessert menu. The pistachio ricotta cheesecake caught my eye and that's what I ordered. He brought it and it was very good. It was sot and creamy and there were a lot of pistachio pieces around the cheesecake. A good ending to the meal. When the bill was brought, it had a QR code on it so you can pay on your phone at the table. I like this so much as it's convenient and the server is free to do other tasks. I paid using the Toast scan and I left. I'm not sure about a return visit. Bringing the main course before it should be is a major problem for me. I like to have a short time between courses. If you're with friends, it gives you some time to talk. I automatically deduct a star for this serving failure when it happens--which is rare! If not for the serving misstep, it would be a solid 4 stars. read more

We visited for the Restaurant Week menu, which was both more varied and better priced than much of the competition. Fennel-orange and pear salads: good, if not exciting. Gnocchi con cipolla with Brie and sausage: ultra rich and delightful. It offered all the comfort of mac'n cheese with European flavors. It reminded me a lot of the national dish I enjoyed in Bratislava, which is potato dumplings with creamy sheep's cheese and bits of bacon. The portion was plenty for two meals. Chicken Milanese: a huge portion of chicken and arugula salad. I loved the perfectly crisp crust and juicy interior, but it was a bit bland. A good shake of salt helped. Chocolate temptation and pistachio ricotta cheesecake: both desserts were meltingly delicate, with layers of sponge cake and mousse. I wouldn't have used the term "cheesecake" -- it's more special than that. I'd call it a torte or mousse cake. Surprisingly, the chocolate one was the sweeter of the two. Don't miss the pistachio option. The waitstaff was obviously working hard, but overstretched. We waited for water refills that never came, etc. The room was comfortable, but could be a lot nicer. Think white tile floors and plastic chairs. That said, I do love the wall art celebrating Sophia Loren eating pasta! Now that's a lifestyle aspiration I can get behind. My husband and I had a table, but the bar seemed quite convivial at 5:30 on a Tuesday. If I were looking for a place to dine solo, this would be high on the list. read more

My friend taught me about this place that recently opened last year. Everything is handmade from scratch. Fyi because service and food can be a tad slow, but the kitchen is an ooen kitchen so you can see the chef preparing everything. Warm bread, pasta, and the star of the show is the Cioppino. I've never had it with the thin layer of bread across the top. It's perfect to dip into the sauce. The seafood components are all perfectly cooked. Tender and juicy clams, mussels, scallops, squid, shrimp. The pasta specialties are very flavorful and the perfect al dente chew on the pasta. Don't forget to try a dessert. Was looking for dinner in Summerlin and decided to try out Brunello LV. We made reservations on a Friday night via OpenTable. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we were shocked at how empty it was, with only a couple of tables occupied. This honestly made us a little weary, as we expected the restaurant to be more bustling on a Friday. In terms of aesthetics, Brunello overall lacks the elegance I would've expected from an expensive Italian restaurant. To start our dinner, we were given bread to dip in olive oil and balsamic or a sun-dried tomato tapenade. The bread was fresh, crunchy, and had a great flavor. For my appetizer, I ordered a Pear Heaven salad. The salad was a big portion for the price and tasted fresh. My one complaint about the salad is the one note salad dressing. For dinner, I ordered the pollo Marsala, which came with sautéed veggies and roast potatoes. The chicken was a tiny bit tough, and I'm not sure it entirely reminded me of chicken Marsala, but it was good. The veggies and potatoes on the other hand were an absolute no. They were drenched in oil and completely lacked any flavor. Additionally, the portion size of the chicken Marsala was definitely on the smaller side for the price. Our waitress was very friendly and answered all of our questions. However, the service needs work. For the restaurant being almost empty, it took 20 minutes to receive our salads and an additional 20 minutes to get our entrees. Overall, not a great experience at Brunello. The prices are pretty expensive for a rather casual Italian restaurant. While the food is decent, I unfortunately don't think I'll be returning. read more

They have yummy desserts such as chocolate temptation, crème brûlée, tiramisu, and pistachio cheesecake! The service is always wonderful here! We visited on Thursday for lunch with a party of two and it was a very nice experience. We were seated right away in a very clean dining area and drink orders were taken. Their house white wine is refreshing. We started with the Pear Heaven Salad and Meatballs. The salad was very large and fresh and the meatballs were quite tasty. From there we went with Frutti di Mare and Linguini Al Gorgonzola E Pistachio as entrees. Both were well prepared and delicious. The only slight down vote was that the linguini portion could have been larger. The service was very good, the waitress was polite, prompt and professional. The military discount was appreciated. I was back in Las Vegas for a night to celebrate my mother in laws birthday, so we decided to give Brunello LV a shot. We came here on a Saturday night where it was semi busy when we arrived, although the place emptied out at a decent speed. The staff was friendly throughout the night although the kitchen seemed a bit understaffed for a Saturday night. On the inside, this place looks like a pretty standard Italian restaurant with nothing new presentation wise to really make it standout, not there's anything wrong with that. The menu is pretty much what you would expect, with appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all of which I sampled a bit of. For an appetizer I sampled both the Fried Calamari and the meatballs, for an entree I ordered the chicken parmigiana, and for desert I split a slice of the "chocolate temptation". My thoughts? Fried Calamari- It was fine, but nothing more. Nothing to really make this stand out at all. Meatballs- I ate one meatball and similar to the fried calamari, it was simply okay. The price you pay for the size you get definitely doesn't work out here. Chicken Parmesan- The pasta here was solid enough, and the chicken itself was decent. The size of the chicken, the breading, and the sauce all get a decent thumbs up from me, definitely the highlight of the meal. Chocolate Temptation- Honestly, this tasted like a slice of cake you would get from a grocery store. It was fine. Overall, Brunello LV is new to Las Vegas and I'm hoping things improve over time. I don't think this is a bad restaurant by any means, but this place is way too forgettable in a city full of incredible places with incredible experiences. read more

Fantastic, locally owned Italian restaurant. Haven't had pasta like this since our meal in Italy. Home made pasta and pink sauce excellent sausage makes this a truly "special" special. The pizza was made of gluten free crust and couldn't tell the difference between non gluten-free crust. We enjoyed the Chianti as well. Service was very friendly and informative explaining entrees and homemade deserts. We ended with the Tiramisu - made in house and like ours in Italy! These folks have a great ambiance, friendly service and excellent food - don't miss out. Be warned - this isn't Ragu and Barillo. It's real home made pasta and sauce. read more

My husband and I made reservations for a Saturday night. We sat on the patio and it was a beautiful night. We shared a fried calamari appetizer. It was done perfectly. The calamari was tender and lightly fried. For entrees my husband had the Gnocchi Al Taleggio. The gnocchi was prepared just right. The texture of the gnocchi was good not heavy and the sauce was very tasty. I had the lobster ravioli made with real lobster. The sauce was very good and if I could make a little suggestion it would be to make the sauce just a bit thinner. For dessert we enjoyed the homemade Tiramisu which was perfect. Are waiter Oscar was very helpful in picking out our wine to go with our dinner. The wine was priced very reasonably. The service was great and we met two lovely couple's out on the patio who also enjoyed their dinner. The Italian classics are outstanding, the salads and appetizers are fresh and flavorful, and the desserts and cocktails are just as memorable. Had a reservation for Friday night. The restaurant was not that busy but the hostess/waitress gave attitude the minute we asked to sit outside as the weather was lovely. She then proceeded to take about 10 minutes to ask us if we wanted water. When we mentioned that we were just going to leave, she said, "Sorry, I'm very busy." Again, the restaurant was not busy and people who sat at the bar after we arrived were taken care of first. The menu looked really good as did some of the cocktails. Disjointed poor service in a cramped and cluttered atmosphere. We were given paper napkins while some tables had linen. Unripe melon and stringy prosciutto appetizer was a miss. Brunello has the makings of great local restaurant. Well 2 times brought friends and took a very long time to get food. They were very unhappy and I don't want the restaurant to get hurt by this. They might not return due to long wait. I hope they fix their problem both with waiters and cooks. Need more help then please hire them. Food is nice, reasonable pricing, convenient, parking. This is so close to my house but I've never gone. Decided to try for restaurant week. Easy parking lot to navigate. The place was packed on a Saturday night but I had reservations so no wait. Service was definitely lacking but it's a small dining room with every table occupied so it's understandable. I'm 90% sure my server was hired very recently. He asked what we ordered 3 times, had to ask for my drink 4 times, and had to asked for ice 6 times. Eventually we did get everything though. Food was average Italian food, delicious. Now the best part for two of us it was only $94 plus a $22 tip so the deal is amazing!!! Yes I still over-tipped cause the server seem like he was at least trying his best. Yoooooooooooooooo! Me, friends and family typically always eat at restaurants in the strip by our hotels but this trip we wanted to explore outside the strip and im glad we did! This was one of the places we discovered thru yelp. For the appetizer we tried the calamari and it was perfectly fried and crispy. The Pastas we tried were amazing as well, we asked for suggestions and the server said Tagliatelle alla gamberry or something which was one of our favorites and also the Brunello Signature that had sausage and it was a pink sauce. I cant remember which was spicy but we did have a semi spicy pasta which I actually liked but cant remember which one it was. But my most favorite was there pasta we ordered the meat lovers wish it had a little spice too it though. The pistachio cheese cake was also decent but nothing special wish it was a little more thick instead of too soft like cheesecake factory cheesecakes. Also the place wasn't too packed a medium sized restaurant really friendly servers, ambiance was very family friendly and everything came out in reasonable time. A place id definitely come to again since pricing was fair and not too crowded like restaurants around the strip. read more

Brunello is in the location of the former My Mother's House which provided us with many years of great food and entertainment. We hope that Brunello is successful in the Sun City Summerlin location. We had dinner reservations for 5:30 and were immediately seated in a table for 4 people along the front windows. The walls are nicely decorated with photos like Sophia Loren. There was also live music from a violin player. On this evening we were celebrating a birthday for a family member. Service on this evening was spot on. Our server David Albert was friendly and helpful with the menu and explained the specials. The appetizers were the Fried Calamari and Caprese Salad. Both were very good. The Calamari rings and tails were perfectly cooked and worked well with the red sauce. The Caprese was a large portion with nice juicy tomatoes. Entrees were Veal Saltimbocca, Chicken Picatta, Signature Pasta and the fish special Branzino. All of the entrees were perfectly cooked along with the vegetables and potatoes The Chicken Picatta was two large breasts and one was packed to bring home. I thoroughly enjoyed the Branzino which is one of my favorite fish and this one did not disappoint. Not a bone to be found. A complementary birthday dessert of Tiramisu was appreciated. It is one of the best in town. Kudos to the owners/chef for a great dining experience. The co-owner Inga stopped by our table to check on our satisfaction and help celebrate with the birthday dessert. It was 5 stars all around. We look forward to a return visit. Was searching through Yelp for a new place to dine in our new area of residence, saw the strong reviews, and decided to try this restaurant. It was a little late in the day, a little after 7pm when we arrived, and I saw that they were closing at 8pm, but they welcomed us in, so we decided to dine outside. Juan our waiter asked if this was our first time here, and we said Yes, he explained the menu to us, and we decided to start with the Bruschetta, very tasteful, very fresh ingredients, the grape tomatoes that they used were very sweet. My wife ordered the Salmon with Wild Mushroom Risotto, risotto is usually a heavy dish, but this was very lite and full of flavor, the salmon, was at least an 8oz fillet, pan seared to perfection. I order the Gnocchi, not usually a fan of pesto, but this was more of a cream sauce with hints of pesto, with added asparagus, a very nice touch, the asparagus still had texture, not limp and mushy. We order the Crème Brûlée for dessert, just the right amount of sweetness to a very creamy custard. We were very impressed with this restaurant, and will be back. The restaurant is obviously Italian, but it has a Mediterranean influence, the Chef is from Albania, and let me tell you, he knows how to prepare dishes, you won't be sorry that you tried this little Gem in Summerlin...Enjoy! read more
