Prefix menu is the best deal especially since very few restaurants off strip do it. Fish, chicken, cake, just about everything was good. -1 star because our cocktail cup (sangria) was half full and they charge cocktail price for a mocktails. 4 sips and it was gone. And my server for our first visit. Our server wasnt exactly the extroverted type. Which he doesnt need to be but he was blunt/borderline condescending. Without being blatantly rude he was very very neurodivergent. My family asked him the typical annoying customer questions like which fish he prefers and he said the "they are both good." Asked about how sweet dessert was and he said "Its dessert of course its sweet" this was my first visit a while ago so dont if hes still there. It was mothers day and made note in the reservation. My first time experiencing Naxos and it was a truly great experience! This place is absolutely stunning inside and the ambiance is perfect for a lil date night or even girls night out. Service is 10/10 too! Staff were very attentive and accommodating throughout the entire dining experience. As for the main course of food, the seafood was delicious and it was money well spent! Some of the best seafood I have ever tasted. My favorite highlights of the night would have to be the John Dory, oysters, and the Spanish charred octopus. Fish was flaky and tender, oysters were fresh, and the octopus was cooked to perfection and wasn't rubbery. Everything we had was extremely flavorful and its one of those restaurants I'm going to remember. Definitely going to come back and try some of their other dishes! Not sure why it took so long for us to try Naxos. I love seafood and they ave a great Mediterranean menu. It has great atmosphere as well. We in for lunch and got there just after opening. Seated right away and few other guests were seated. It's really tough to figure out what you would like with such a wide variety. Since it was a weekend the brunch menu was in play as well. I am a sucker for a Shakshuka but I was on a mission to get seafood. I opted for the lunch prix fixe with the Oysters Lavraki and FroYo. I was pleased with every item. Although they took our orders quickly, the service ran a little slow. That might be chalked up to arriving right at opening. Food, drinks and ambience was all spot on and We will be returning. This is another place we like to come to every so often. They have a $60 fixed menu which is awesome. We always add the Zucchini/Eggplant Chips to our appetizers. We started with the Greek Salad and the Spanakopita which is always yummy. We then had the Lavraki Fish and the Skirt Steak. This night was a little interesting as my steak which in the picture shows it with a salsa verde on it did not come with anything on it??? We finished with the Homemade Froto, Ricotta Olive Oil & Pistachio and the Spiced Date Cake, Caramel, Candied Walnuts which are excellent. Our server Garrett was one of the friendliest we have had here. I'm not saying any of them are bad, he was just friendlier, meaning he was not just doing his job, he spent time getting to know his customers which made the Corrientes better. Been here a few times and the food has always been consistently good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has moody lighting, making it feel a little more upscale. One of my favorite dishes is the Charred Spanish Octopus. It is always cooked well and not too tough. The dips are the star of the show and I could definitely go for dips and wine. We were craving Mediterranean and Naxos did not disappoint. They are in Red Rock Casino. First impressions as we walked in. It had a nice ambiance, however, if you are seated at the front of the restaurant, you are literally near the slot machines. Thank God we were seated inside and for a moment we forgot we were inside a casino. We started with their Katafi Prawns, they were amazing! Loved the touch of olive flavor dip it came with. Their pulpo came with crispy smashed potatoes, they were good too! Fresh pita bread anyone? Don't skip those. The hummus dip with beets were heavenly. I ordered their Alaskan king crab. Wow. I think they put mayo on it, it was rich and yummy!!! The scallops were good too! There's a tiny kick to it, but all in all good. The skirt steak was on the bland side unfortunately, however everything else compensated for the lack of flavor like the spinach rice and crispy potatoes. Servings were on the smaller side but we left very full. Their rendition of the Dubai chocolate was okay, a bit on the dry side, but still tasty. The service was amazing. Oysters 6pc it was worth the $24 and delicious. My linguine with shrimp/Crab/Clams was disgusting. Heavy on salt. I could cook a better seafood dish at home. I was highly disappointed. My martini was $21 during "happy hour ". Don't bother ordering here. I ordered the same martini at T-Bones for 1/2 the price here. Also, the food is better quality. Giselle was our server she did a fantastic job of guiding us through the menu and helping us with our choices. Idk who the bartender was but our drinks were fantastic.I had a dirty martini it was super cold slightly cloudy with little ice crystals "perfection" my husband had 2 espresso martini's they were perfect as well! The food omg everything we got was delicious! Came in for an atypical Thanksgiving meal. Started off with a warm greeting from our server Tina who claimed at least 90% Greek heritage. And she respected her roots! (Smile) She was not only familiar with the Greek language, but was a true connoisseur of the entire menu. She made some great suggestions from both the fish menu as well as the main menu. We started off our meal with the Greek salad, which was large enough to share between three or four people. We also had the charred octopus appetizer. The flavors were fantastic. The photos do not do this place justice but give a peek at the variety available. Here is a summary the experience: Food: top notch! Fresh and flavorful. Mediterranean food always leaves me feeling satisfied but not stuffed. And this experience exceeded expectations. They brought the fish in the salt crust to show how it had been cooked before preparing it to serve. Impressive presentation and the quality matched. Service: Excellent. Granted we were one of three tables since we came at lunch and this is typically a dinner only establishment. Nevertheless everyone was attentive and the food came in a a timely manner but not so quick that you had the impression of it being pre-made. Value: The price was right. You could choose a dish that fit your palette, hunger level and budget. Plenty of options that all met the mark. 10/10 I will be back the next time I'm in Vegas. read more

Friday night is Date night and tonight along with our friends we picked Naxos and I am so delighted we did. Naxos is located in Red Rock Casino and it is recommended you do make reservations. The restaurant is Stunning with a BoHo Romantic design. There is an open kitchen concept and large tree and dim lights throughout the restaurant that gives you that very relaxed feel. We were seated immediately by Lily and she was delightful. Our waiter Garrett immediately introduced himself and went over the entire menu as well as the cocktail menu. He was amazing the entire evening. We ordered for an appetizer Homemade pita bread with three different types of spread . I asked for Garrett to pick the three types and he did not disappoint. Myself and my husband along with our friends then ordered our dinners. It did not take very long for our meals to be delivered and we all were so satisfied with our food. My husband had ordered Lamb Chops, I had steak , my friend ordered a white fish with a Lemon fish that was amazing, and her husband ordered Skirt steak. My sister has been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years, and getting recommendations from casino workrs. we were finally able to dine here for brunch on a Saturday about 1130a party of 8. Restaurant is practically empty which worked out for us since we were gonna catch movie at 115p. The restaurant itself is dimly lit, and easy to have conversations. We decided on a few dishes to try and were quite pleased with our choices. Since we had our older cousins with us who dont eat much, it was the perfect amount of food. What stood out to me as my favorite was the shrimp wrap. Loved the crunch of the outside wrappers the olive aioli. The spinach rice could've used more flavor, but the idea of it is great. The steak and eggs, was ordered medium well, which was a mistake, because it was sliced and cooked so the edges were burnt, unfortunately did not get a picture of that dish. But my brother in law doesn't like blood in his steak could not finish, even with the chimichurri sauce. All in all, we'd do e here again. read more

Greek restaurant was just opening for dinner and no waiting line... ambience was amazing and the food and service did not disappoint either. I had grilled salmon, cooked perfectly medium with a squash puree. My brother had lamb kebab in a tomato rags with garbanzo beans and hint of olives. We shared a rice dish with fresh spinach and had plenty of food for both of us. Kostas , our server, was polite, attentive, and had the Greek accent to transform us to the isle of Greece. Naxos Taverna is a contemporary Greek Style Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar located in the Red Rock Casino. It's a very attractive restaurant and it looks like everything should be nice. This review is only based on one lunch visit. A word of warning. You will do better than me here if you ask them not to salt your food and request salt on the side. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to take our order. It started with the iced tea. I was surprised that when I ordered an Iced Tea that someone would serve me very warm tea in a glass without ice. I had to ask for ice. The only plate we had (from the Restaurant Week Lunch Special Menu) that didn't have a problem was the East Coast West Coast Oysters. I started with the Greek Salad. In the middle of dressed tomatoes and cucumbers is a big wedge of feta cheese that is very salty and was covered in more salt. I couldn't eat it but I also note that I might be more sensitive to salt than other people. My husband tolerates more salt than me and agreed that the feta cheese was very salty. This salad also came with pickled shallots that were SO STRONG THAT THEY COULD DO PUSH UPS. (nobody could possibly eat them) This salad was 2 stars at the most...only the ripe heirloom tomatoes were good in it. I had the Greek Sea Bass called Lavraki. It was cooked to perfection but was loaded with too many salty capers and an overly generous handful of salt. I scraped off all I could and it was still salty. The seafood linguini had some problems too. The clams and shrimp were over cooked. My husband thinks that the crab might have been missing? We shared the froyo and spiced date cake for dessert. The cake lacked flavor but also was all dried out like maybe it was a week or two old. The froyo seemed fresh but lacked good flavors. This whole experience could have been better. The dining area is large and well appointed. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. Their margaritas are nice and strong. We started with Hummus, Kataifi Wrapped Prawns, and a Greek Salad. All were well prepared and tasty. From there we had the Skirt Steak and a whole Dorade fish. My wife had Cookies & Bites for dessert. The fish and steak were delicious. They even have a lovely private dining room on the side and a terrace area. They have a set menu and also their whole fish specials. The fish are flew in daily and can be salt baked or grilled. We ordered the zucchini and eggplant chips, kataifi wrapped prawns, tzatziki, houmous, muhammara, and a grilled fish. The chips were so light and airy. It was the perfect appetizer. It came with tzatziki on the bottom. The dips were all delicious but I have to say that the muhammara was my favorite. It had a robust flavor profile and paired well with their home made pita bread. The kataifi wrapped prawns were so crunchy! I really enjoyed them. The grilled fish was definitely the star of the show. They presented it to us after it has been grilled and then took it back to get deboned. It had a lovely flavor and it was an additional perk to not have to worry about the fish bones. This was our first time there, and we decided to take our friends who live close by the red rock. They put us in the front tables, too close to the casino with the smell of cigarette smoke and a lot of noise. Then came in for young girls who sat across from us and they were toasted before they even got their meal and very loud. The menu had to be completely interpreted because it was hard to determine what was the main meal and what was an appetizer. I asked about the shared meals or the shared servings how big they were and they said oh they're not really shared meals their appetizers and I said well then that won't work. We won't be able to share that then I'll just get an appetizer and a salad and my husband ordered something else which he thought was going to come out as a small plate. She said all small plates and you can share. But he ordered the fish and I ordered this chicken which I thought were shareable or small appetizer plates and they were huge. So we wound up getting two full meals when we only wanted to share one and get some side dishes we wound up ordering hummus and a salad because we thought the plates were going to be Small. They charge extra if you want an extra piece of pita we asked for extra pita and it took forever to get that, but the waitress kept coming by announcing when something was coming out and then would say OK now your main meal is going to be coming out and how is everything? Is everything all right work for adult couples trying to have a conversation and we kept getting interrupted and then the manager came by and asked if everything was good we were kind of lost with the conversation by the time we got done, checking in with everybody and then the bus boy he seemed pretty new like he hadn't been doing this very long. You barely would put a fork down and he was trying to take the plates away. We had had some hummus and some pita and small plates and he kept trying to take it away and at one point I said hey I'm still trying to finish. I had a small piece of pizza and at least 2 tablespoons of the hummus left. They said well we're trying to bring your other meal out and we said well we're not done with that so then comes a waitress and she said oh let me expand your table, so we all had to kinda push our seats back and now you've got two people kneeling down next to you chest tight trying to undo the rest of the table instead of it being a square table now it's a big round table, which was even harder to have a conversation and they brought the food out anyway, even though the appetizer portion or the hummus wasn't finished. We just felt so hurried in and pushed maybe because it was Friday and they were trying to do Table turnover. We still were waiting for the pita at that point and they finally brought it out. We were already halfway through our meal. So disappointing we thought we would enjoy it. I do have to say the food was tasty, but I would not go back because of the noise, the smoke, the constant interruption and the bus boy trying to clean up our plates I also asked to have half of my chicken boxed and that I would do it myself two other people came by and asked me if they wanted me to box, the chicken and I said no the first guy is going to get a box. I asked to box it myself. At that point, they picked up my fork so now they come back with the clam container for me to put the chicken and the pita that we didn't eat because it came so late into the box and I said wait. Wait somebody took away all the silverware in the plates and I need to have a fork so that I can put this into the container with all that took a while. We decided to skip having any dessert there and went to the ice cream place in the food court. We just couldn't wait to get out of there. On the side, we ordered the Spiced Baby Cauliflower, which came with a puréed sweet onion sauce and raisins. I never thought a puréed onion could taste that good--paired with the raisins and cauliflower, it was honestly the highlight of the dinner. For dessert, we tried the lemon sorbet, which had the perfect balance of lemon flavor without being overly tart--refreshing and light. Started with the dip, grilled artichokes, saganaki, and house made pita. Pita was so fresh and soft. Would definitely add extra on. The saganaki was amazing with a touch of honey and lemon. For dinner we shared a skirt steak, grilled lavraki sea bass, baby carrots and Spanish rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. They presented the fish and then took it back to de-bone and prepare the fish for us. All the hard work was done for us. The carrots were the star of the show. For dessert we shared the baklava cheesecake and froyo. Cheesecake was silky smooth with a great texture from the crispy phyllo dough. Perfect way to end a perfect meal. read more

Overall, a good meal with world-class service in a beautiful room. Still, I had notes, especially given the price. Star features: addictive, piping hot zucchini and eggplant chips (huge portion). Plump west coast oysters. The mild, almost sweet feta with the olives. Meltingly tender lamb shank. Prominent pistachio flavor in the frozen yogurt. Many elements, though, had flaws. Room temperature sauce on the lamb shank. Too many bones left in the "deboned" turbot. Overly charred lamb chops obscuring the subtle and tender meat. Bland custard in the bougatsa. We had a fun evening out and will certainly be back, given the ambience and many enjoyable dishes so close to home. Just don't expect the quality of a Chicago Greektown place, despite the high price point. read more

If I could give Naxos Taverna more than 5 stars, I would! This place is a hidden gem if you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine in Las Vegas. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming--elegant but still relaxed, with coastal vibes that instantly made us feel like we were on vacation. We started with the grilled octopus (so tender and flavorful!) and the spanakopita, which was buttery, crispy, and packed with spinach and feta goodness. For the main course, we shared the whole grilled fish, and wow--so fresh, perfectly seasoned, and filleted tableside. The side dishes and dips (highly recommend the tzatziki) were just as impressive. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. They walked us through the menu and suggested a great Greek wine pairing that hit the spot. Better than what I was expecting but kind of weird vibes? Other negative reviews did warn about the service here. Our negative experience wasn't our own server but the managers, and situation. Wednesday evening 8pmish was empty. It's very unexpected to have the managers full on dining, on the floor among guests? Maybe it's a special occasion? I've only experienced/it's common at tasty hole in the wall Chinese shops where chefs and staff all eat on the floor, aka among restaurant dining space, next to you at their 3pmish lunch break. I love those places. This is just unexpected for a nicer restaurant? I normally wouldn't care but it definitely didn't add to make a sour experience nicer. Especially when we needed service and everyone is just clumped there. Garrett is an amazing server! Suggested a drink for me after explaining my cocktail likes and dislikes...skinny margarita, mezcal base was perfect!! Fresh! Great service from him. Again vibes are off because the managers were off puting, and not very nice. I would avoid this place if all the staff were like their 2 managers tonight. Food presentation was nice. Shrimp appetizer can be made without dairy. My cocktail was tasty! Oysters are not from here. It was an exception they made for the occasion and unsure if theyll allow it again. Lamb chops and lamb shanks were amazing! ALI - the manager, was such a great guy--friendly, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. He has traveled to Greece himself, which makes the experience feel authentic and special. Chris, our waiter, was also very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a rough time here with the service. Our server did not know the menu and had not tired the dishes so could not provide advice. She promoted a particular dish and talked it up, so 3 of us our out of our party of 6 ordered it, and then she came back and said they were out of it. She could not open the bottle of wine so someone at our table had to open it !! She would put plates down on top of menus as well. It was a really odd experience. She tried to take the orders from the men before the women. They apparently provide zero training. We finally had to speak to the manager. The food was good; however, the portions were very small for the price - we all left a bit hungry. Plus the ding-ding-ding of slot machines and smoke as the restaurant opened to the casino floor. Me and hubby visited it for the first time this Wednesday. We were so impressed! The decor is very nice inside and the layout is spacious. We were greeted right away by a beautiful hostess ( we did not have any reservations) politely. The tables and chairs are so comfortable and elegantly adorned with their own bottle of classy extra virgin olive oil fr Greece. Our waitress Tina made it super special by explaining to us all about their menus and her recommendations were spot on to our liking. She made our first experience here so enjoyable and for us to plan and come back again soon. All the busboys and servers are so very attentive and quick to our table. We felt special and seen, the manager checking on us too. What a great team of people in this establishment. The food, oh wow! Ultra tasty, healthy and super fresh. What a great first experience. I went for the 3-course meal that is $55 per person and additional depending upon on what you decide to order. I opted for the shrimp prawns with a sauce that had a tiny of olive taste. It was delish! I had the chicken which came with part of the garlic lemon chicken and potatoes. It was okay that evening, but better the next day when it stayed in the sauce longer and made it more flavorful and moist. For dessert, I went with the baklava cheesecake, but I tasted more of the cheesecake than the baklava because it lacked my expectations of the walnut, sweetened syrup and flakiness of a baklava. It did not reach my expectations as I anticipated. The ambiance was modern and romantic. Dimly lit and chill, but quite pricey for what it's worth. Made with walnuts, red bell peppers, pomegranate molasses, and breadcrumbs. Also tried the Zucchini & Eggplant Chips, which had Tzatziki on the bottom. This was actually my fav dish of the night because the chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection! I could eat it as an entire meal! My entree with the Lavraki Fish, which was fresh, deboned, and charred with Lemon & Sea Salt. We also got Homemade FroYo (Ricotta Olive Oil & Pistachio) and Baklava Cheesecake, both were a fantastic way to end a delightful meal! Soild Mediterranean restaurant in Red Rock Casino. Naxos would be my top choice of restaurants in Red Rock. Atmosphere: nicely decorated with coast vibe. Casual and dressy at the same time. You can dress up or down. Service: my visits there have been pleasant. On point service. Food comes out fairly quickly. Food: I had cocktails here a couple of times and they were both meh. One of the main reason for deducing a star. Must try: -Kataifi shrimp (5/5): it's crispy, juicy and flavorful. -Raw sea bream (5/5): nice seasoning with fresh sashimi. -Spanish rice (4/5): nice seasoned rice. -Crispy potatoes (5/5): crispy outside and soften inside with great garlic cheese flavors. -Lavraki (5/5) reminded of the same seasoning in Milos. -Baklava cheese cake (5/5): so good! Can't find this very often. I'm not a dessert person but wow these cheese cakes. Skip: Tried couple of pastas during restaurant week: lobster and crab diablo and seafood pasta. Not a fan.
