I received a coupon in the mail and decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered the burrito plate and told the server no meat.. She asked me if I wanted everything else on it and I said yes, cilantro, onions, etc. just no meat.. she then came back and asked me. Did I want the beans and the rice and everything else in it and I said yes I want the burrito with no meat just as it states on the menu.. she said OK then a third person came up and asked me if I wanted cheese in my burrito. I said yes I just don't want meat.. when I did get it. It was extremely bland had no flavor very very little cheese and it was lukewarm. I like savory hot spicy foods so I was really surprised because according to the reviews I've read everyone was commenting on how flavorful the food was.. It could've been because I got them confused by not asking for any meat so it could've been me. The french fries were really good and they poured a generous portion of orange juice, which was also good. I noticed that 90% of the people ordered Pazole so I'm assuming it must be excellent. I'm not sure if I will be back because 99% of the menu items have meat or chicken in it. I wish they would expand their menu items and offer maybe cheese enchiladas or quesadillas. read more

The new Ely's S Ft Apache has a HUGE menu of American & Mexican choices. Had Chorizo & Eggs over refried beans on grilled buttered bread. Good but the bread from local Great Buns Bakery failed as it couldn't stand up to the dish, literally fell flat. I'll go back but not for the bread. read more

The Place To Go is currently undergoing remodeling but that did not stop me from picking up my order to-go and loving every bite. There is still seating if you feel like staying and soaking in the vibe. I went for the California Burger with a fried egg added and I have to say it was a knockout. Juicy, flavorful, and hitting all the right spots for a perfect bite every time. The fries were just as impressive, crispy and salty without being overwhelming. Everything was plated beautifully and the value was excellent. Even to-go, this meal felt like a treat. I left already thinking about my next visit and what I am going to try next. We went here for breakfast on Mothers Day and I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. The ambience is classic diner style with booth and tables. The service was excellent; the servers were professional and had excellent menu recommendations. Decided to try this place out since I saw it hyped up on IG here, we brought some friends from out of town! And we literally Just walked out of this place at the new Fort Apache location! Wanted a michilada, they said they don't sale alcohol! Then I ordered a raspberry ice tea and come back and say they don't have that either! Then I ordered an orchata and it was nasty watered down! The service was horrible! Took forever to even get our drinks, then took forever to have someone come to our table to get our order for the food, at that point we just got up and left somewhere else. The servers are nice but something was wrong with every item we ordered. 1) I asked to add avocado to my chicken enchilada omelette, it was missing. The hash browns that came with were pale, barely cooked; there was no golden crispy anything. And my sourdough toast was so burnt I could only take a couple bites. 2) my husband ordered the chicken tinga chilaquile sandwich with both sauces. He didn't get the chicken or the second sauce. He asked for the eggs on the side and they were still in the sandwich. 3) finally I ordered chocolate chip pancakes to go and when I get home there are no chips in the pancakes. Plain pancakes covered in chocolate sauce, and no butter. It was so disappointing. This was my second time because I enjoyed the first so much, but if there isn't any consistency I would rather not take my chances. read more

Went in after seeing some of the reviews. Discovered it's a dad & his 17 year old son who started the place a month ago & wanted to focus on quality ingredients for their burgers. Alex (the son) recommended the Sunrise burger he designed & man what an absolute introduction of a burger. Hands down the best burger & Fries I've had since Killer Burger in Portland & Annys Fine Burger in San Diego, & the fact it's around the corner for me is mind blowing Meat was seasoned, jalapeños were actually spicy, & the brioche bun didn't fall apart at all despite how soft it was. 15/10 & will be coming once a week now A++++ read more

Super friendly, helpful service! I ordered the California burger. I didn't notice on the menu that it had bacon on it so that was a welcome surprise but not usual to California burgers. It had avocado but it was pretty flavorless. The burger however was good. Fries were also good but I would suggest you order them with no salt. Nice clean atmosphere. Phenomenal burgers. I was looking at the menu and the Olive Burger stood out to me. What the heck does that taste like. Well the owner let me try the olive sauce and it was bomb. So I ordered the Onion Burger, add olive sauce. Also ordered a side of cajun fries. Man the burger was off the hook, tasted so good with that olive sauce. The meat was seasoned just right and the bun used complimented the burger. The fries were good too, not too much seasoning where it was overwhelming, just enough. Recently stopped by to have a burger. Amazing choice, I must say. The fries were all crispy and delicious and the burger was amazing. This place has already nailed it despite being so new. I also must sat, this was probably one of the first times I've ever been to a restaurant and actually enjoyed the soda. It just tastes better here. You can tell this spot is new. The whole place just felt fresh and clean. The owner was also a jolly guy, talking to us a bit about the restaurant and such. This is seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had, and for the first time in forever, I got a meal that included a burger, fries, AND drink for a reasonable price. 12.99 is almost unbelievable in this day and age for a full combo! McDonald's charges more nowadays. It smelt so good on the way to the bus stop that I started eating it there, I was waiting a good 10 minutes before eating. When I tell you it still felt and tasted like it was fresh off the grill, you couldn't pay me to lie. The fries were crispy and perfect and the burger was in a class of its own. I got a root beer float too, a little Barq's and Vanilla ice cream never tasted so good. For 2 combos and a float (that was basically two extra cups!) it was about $32! A steal by all metrics in this city! The owner was so nice and happy to talk to us, it made the experience so much better especially since he remembered me peeking in the window earlier. The staff triple checked our order to make sure it was right and checked it again, real genuine care from the staff and owner. Everything was clean, and well managed! You can tell that there is pride in appearances here. Overall a real gem as far as hole in the walls go, its easy to get to, has plenty of parking, and has amazing hours. I am a night owl and now that I know this place is around for a late snack, I know I'm gonna be seeing them more often. I wish I took a picture, I slammed it.
