We're always on the hunt for new breakfast spots & came across Ely's. Located in the Home Depot shopping center on the SW side of Ft. Apache & Flamingo, they do have a lot of parking available! The restaurant is very cute, decorated nicely, and has a lot of seating for the space, but doesn't feel crowded at all. They have a vast menu of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. We opted for the chilaquiles & huevos rancheros. I did ask if the huevos were spicy and our sweet waiter said, a little, so I went ahead with the order. Their little is a little different than my little The flavor was so good, but a tad too spicy for me. The chilaquiles were spicy as well, but my husband loved them and the sauce has an excellent tang on top of the spice. I did get a breakfast burrito instead, as the waiter insisted I try something I could happily eat. It is delicious and very filling. The breakfast potatoes are crispy and perfectly cooked. Nice crunchy balance to the soft eggs and tortilla. We also ordered menudo (to go) for my dad and he really enjoyed it! We will be back to try lunch. We really enjoyed our experience! read more

We decided to give this new family diner in the southwest a try, and I'm so glad we did! I know they have other locations, but this was our first visit. I ordered the chorizo and jalapeño omelette, and it was HUGE! It was packed with flavor, with just the right amount of spice and plenty of chorizo in every bite. My husband ordered the country fried steak. He said the eggs, potatoes, and veggies were all delicious, but the steak itself was just okay. Still, the rest of the meal made it worthwhile. The menu has so many tempting options that we'll definitely be back. I already have my eye on the chilaquiles and the chicken enchilada omelette for our next visit. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the staff made us feel very welcome. I really hope this restaurant succeeds at this location because it's a great addition to the neighborhood and offers another solid breakfast option. It was ok! We went to the location years back when it was a wing place, so was excited to see that a new breakfast place took over. The inside looks nice as well as updated and clean, we opted for a booth and our server was great! She might have been new, but very friendly and helpful. Food was good, but nothing I would run back for. I ordered the chicken tinga chilaquiles with no beans. They were good but super plain. Nothing extra on it minus the chicken and eggs. No onion, no cilantro, and I had to ask for sides of salsa to put on top of it. I also ordered a chocolate chip pancake which was tasty. They did give us free crepes but I don't care of crepes nor does my husband. They should maybe ask before wasting food. My hubby ordered the steak and eggs with no potato's. He said it was good and enjoyed it. My watermelon mimosa was a good size, however it was room temp. Overall, yes the food was good. My concern comes with the inside. When we walked in, all of the lights were off, which I understand to keep it cooler in here with the summer heat, however the AC was also off. We both were very uncomfortable by the end of the meal. I received a coupon in the mail and decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered the burrito plate and told the server no meat.. She asked me if I wanted everything else on it and I said yes, cilantro, onions, etc. just no meat.. she then came back and asked me. Did I want the beans and the rice and everything else in it and I said yes I want the burrito with no meat just as it states on the menu.. she said OK then a third person came up and asked me if I wanted cheese in my burrito. I said yes I just don't want meat.. when I did get it. It was extremely bland had no flavor very very little cheese and it was lukewarm. I like savory hot spicy foods so I was really surprised because according to the reviews I've read everyone was commenting on how flavorful the food was.. It could've been because I got them confused by not asking for any meat so it could've been me. The french fries were really good and they poured a generous portion of orange juice, which was also good. I noticed that 90% of the people ordered Pazole so I'm assuming it must be excellent. I'm not sure if I will be back because 99% of the menu items have meat or chicken in it. I wish they would expand their menu items and offer maybe cheese enchiladas or quesadillas. read more

There is still seating if you feel like staying and soaking in the vibe. I went for the California Burger with a fried egg added and I have to say it was a knockout. Juicy, flavorful, and hitting all the right spots for a perfect bite every time. The fries were just as impressive, crispy and salty without being overwhelming. Everything was plated beautifully and the value was excellent. Even to-go, this meal felt like a treat. I left already thinking about my next visit and what I am going to try next. We had Dahlia as our server and she was nice and friendly. It was our first time to visit their Fort Apache location ( apparently they have 5, going on 6 branches all over Vegas) We were surprised that they have a big menu serving Mexican/American breakfast and lunch, ( at this location) . One best thing we learned about this restaurant is that everything is made from scratch, and we tasted that. They have good authentic refried beans. I'm not into salsa, but I loved their green salsa with my omelet !( not spicy) . Restaurant design is basic, no frills. I'm giving them 3 stars because it was warm in their restaurant. They have AC but it was not cooling the entire place. I was sweating while eating, hesitated to drink my coffee that Dahlia brewed for me because it will just make me feel hotter. Thank you Dahlia for making fresh brewed decaf for me! Hope you had your decaf coffee too!. I would go back if it was cooler( would have given them 4.5 stars) in the restaurant coz their food is great! We had breakfast around 8 am and we were sweating as we ate. . Alex (the son) recommended the Sunrise burger he designed & man what an absolute introduction of a burger. Decided to try this place out since I saw it hyped up on IG here, we brought some friends from out of town! And we literally Just walked out of this place at the new Fort Apache location! Wanted a michilada, they said they don't sale alcohol! Then I ordered a raspberry ice tea and come back and say they don't have that either! Then I ordered an orchata and it was nasty watered down! The service was horrible! Took forever to even get our drinks, then took forever to have someone come to our table to get our order for the food, at that point we just got up and left somewhere else. The servers are nice but something was wrong with every item we ordered. 1) I asked to add avocado to my chicken enchilada omelette, it was missing. The hash browns that came with were pale, barely cooked; there was no golden crispy anything. And my sourdough toast was so burnt I could only take a couple bites. 2) my husband ordered the chicken tinga chilaquile sandwich with both sauces. He didn't get the chicken or the second sauce. He asked for the eggs on the side and they were still in the sandwich. 3) finally I ordered chocolate chip pancakes to go and when I get home there are no chips in the pancakes. Plain pancakes covered in chocolate sauce, and no butter. It was so disappointing. Phenomenal burgers. I was looking at the menu and the Olive Burger stood out to me. What the heck does that taste like. Well the owner let me try the olive sauce and it was bomb. So I ordered the Onion Burger, add olive sauce. Also ordered a side of cajun fries. Man the burger was off the hook, tasted so good with that olive sauce. The meat was seasoned just right and the bun used complimented the burger. The fries were good too, not too much seasoning where it was overwhelming, just enough. Recently stopped by to have a burger. Amazing choice, I must say. The fries were all crispy and delicious and the burger was amazing. This place has already nailed it despite being so new. I also must sat, this was probably one of the first times I've ever been to a restaurant and actually enjoyed the soda. It just tastes better here. You can tell this spot is new.
