Food was definitely 5/5! Service was about a 3/5. Menu boasted a variety of tasty sounding options, including a lot of seafood and dips. Would have been easy to just have all the dips/cold mezzes for a meal. Between 2 people, shared the santorini, swordfish souvlaki, grilled vegetables, and potato wedge/fries. The santorini had great flavor and texture. The swordfish was excellent and super tender (which I don't think about when I think of swordfish). Grilled vegetables and potato wedges were both good in texture and flavors. I would get all of those items again. Service wasn't up to par. We were seated at the bar because we did not have reservations, even though there were a lot of empty tables. We felt like we were pretty neglected at the bar and multiple times, the bartender and server in that area were just on their phones. There were some others that came after us who did not have reservations and were seated at a table. Hopefully it was just an off night for the service.

food was amazing and fresh. Wait staff kind but short. For Bishop arts it's a great unique addition, will definitely be back. Only call out is it's a bit loud with the music and tables being so close together. All in all, great experience though

This new restaurant is in the space formerly called Nora (they've moved) with a lively patio on a corner. It was hot so I wanted something light and I couldn't have been happier with my mixed mezze platter of cold spreads and warm pita. You get four different spreads and all of them were delicious and different from each other. The tzatziki was possibly the best I've ever had. The beet was creative and refreshing. The atom labneh had a slight kick to it. And the eggplant was divine. My date had the beef souvlaki was fantastic and fork tender. Our waitress was Fresia had not only tasted everything on the menu but really likes the food so she was super helpful giving us a great experience. They also had a live DJ playing tunes from the street. I can't wait to go back!

I really wanted to try this spot ever since they opened. Its super cute and has a great location. I found the service ok and the food also ok. With the price being up there it didnt really seem worth it. For the same type of food and hookah, you are better off going to the mayors house. Its not far away and way better. They had a lot of servers walking around but it was still difficult to get what you needed/their attention. I most likely wont return.

The food was amazing, Tish was an amazing server and the overall ambience was just super cutesy! Live music on the patio, it was a winning kind of evening

We went super early on a Wednesday. Usually when you go to the restaurant off time you get mediocre service. NOT HERE . They were so welcoming and took amazing care of us. We got the pistachio martini and the coffee martini to start. Then apps were the beet puree, the spicy hummus and the seafood salad. While all were tasty, our fave was the hummus. For entrees we got the lamb chops and the black pepper shrimp: Again all were amazing but we really enjoyed the black pepper shrimp Good wine list Charming atmosphere & a nice patio DEFINITELY worth a stop when you come to Bishop Arts

Oh my gosh literally yum. I forgot this thing I had gotten but it was a goulash kind of dish. The service is impecccable, and the DECORRRR!! I loved everything about this place!

Really liked having a late lunch early dinner here on a Saturday. We sat outside and enjoyed music from nearby eateries and people watching. The bartender made a nice mocktail and the price was actually reasonable ($7). I had the octopus first and it was Delicious! So moist and flavorful. I loved the octopus so much that I ordered the orzo (because it had octopus in it) and it was also great. I look forward to trying more menu items. My only negative is towards the end the waiter kind of disappeared for a bit and it took a while to get a check (this wasnt too big of an issue considering we were having a leisurely day but could be a problem for otherss).

Loved this place, great ambiance and decor, service is super friendly and helpful! They do have extensive menu and a lot of fish dishes! They serve complimentary bread and olives before your dining. Food is delicious, drinks are great as well! They do have outside patio seating as well as inside. I definitely recommend trying this place

Chef Roger also stopped by our table personally to check on us and make sure everything was good. The restaurant was very clean, the ambiance was great, and the service was outstanding. It honestly made me a little sad to see it so quiet because places with good food, great people, and excellent hospitality deserve to be busy. The apps were the Aguachile which was the better of the two, and the other were the crab croquettes which were packed with crab but lacked in flavor. Of the entrees the blacked catfish was the better one. The only issue was the huge portion of mashed potatoes which were reminiscent of powered mash, but the catfish itself was outstanding. On the other side I've never had a lobster roll before but this genuinely has no flavor and has experienced some serious shrinkflation when compared to other pictures here on yelp of it. The fries were great though. The dessert also was nothing memorable and was a very basic bread pudding that could've been warmer. Overall, I was not impressed by Pesca as the reviews may have led me to believe, but it is still a solid place in trinity groves that deserves be more attention.

We sat at the table for two near the door which had great lighting, and it was really fun to people watch as pedestrians roamed outside. Our server recommended a few cocktails - I got the Limelight which was delicious and my friend got one of the clarified cocktails, which was also very tasty. Honestly the alcohol flavor was masked super well so they're very dangerous drinks! Will have to come by to try some of the others. Our server was super helpful explaining & coursing out the menu, and we got a bunch of items to share. First up we got the scallop aguachile, which was tart and spicy and super refreshing, and the salmon tartare which was creamy and decadent and came with shatteringly crisp wonton chips. Really excellent starters, and they made me want to come back and get the rest some time! Then we split the ahi tuna tostadas and the crab avocado tostadas, which come 2 per order. Hugo O. came over to ask if we were sharing and helpfully had them plated one each per plate so we could eat them more easily, and also brought over a chili pequín hot sauce to complement the tostadas. They were so good! I'll be dreaming about both the tostadas and the pequín sauce for a while. The ahi tuna was super fresh and went so well with the accompaniments, and the crab didn't get lost in the other flavors on that tostada. The crisp tortillas underneath also held up really well to each bite; I'm so used to tostadas shattering upon first taste but the structural integrity of Hugo's were super impressive. For our main we split the fish of the day, which was seared Hokkaido scallop atop a bed of corn risotto. This also came pre-split into two bowls so we didn't have to do it ourselves, which was a super nice touch. The scallops were cooked to perfection, super soft and tender with an incredible crust, and the corn risotto was super creamy and savory. Almost a little too salty for me with the amount of cheese, but still so good I almost licked the bowl clean. Seriously good food here - sad it's a bit of a trek from where I live but I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K
