Had a nice dinner w friends at Beto and Sons. Edie was an attentive waitress. Love their red salsa, so good. I hogged a whole basket of chips by myself! We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and it truly could have fed the 3 of us. Add the beef fajita meat to it for a real treat. I ordered the torta and it was very good. It came w perfectly fried waffle fries which i devoured. My friends were pleased with their entrees as well. Beto and Sons is in Trinity Groves which is a fun spot to hang on the weekends. Really fun spot I would return to.
Definitely make sure that you get the nitrogen margarita it's completely an experience! I got the three tacos and they had fried onions on top, which was a nice different touch. The CASABLANCO was absolutely delicious. I loved the salsa and also the bean dip that came with the chips. Their patio is everything if you're looking to sit outside. The service was absolutely wonderful and they were very kind and patient.
Good place with outdoor space. The service was pretty quick and efficient as well. They had the liquid nitrogen drinks and we tried the margarita which they make right by your table. Cool stuff. The food was delicious and was brought out quickly. The Al pastor tacos and the fajitas were flavorful and delicious.
Go for the bean dip, everything else was blah Table for 10 and no one finished their meals and we are all foodies
Hate to write this review, my wife and I have been coming here for over 6 years and took a break from this side of town. We came back today to see most places are empty in this complex? They now charge for parking when 3/4 of the retail places are out of business. We were excited to get to Betos and son, our server Eric was lackluster in personality and lack of service attention. My wife and I ordered carne asada tortas, when they arrived mine was very rare and cold, Eric never came around to check on us so couldn't alert him to fix or recook the asada meat. After my wife finished he finally asked how everything was, I nicely explained the meet was undercooked and cold and couldn't eat it. He told his manager and nobody came to our table to at-least apologize, nobody offered to just make me another one or at least reheat the portion that was in my plate, poor management customer service, he did offer to take $7.00 off our bill?? I'm still hungry and will go food elsewhere! We were use to seeing this restaurant in past always slammed full/ busy needing reservations but right now it's Saturday evening at 6:40pm and the place is pretty empty! We are never coming back, there are too many other good Tex-Mex in Dallas. I can see why this retail complex is mostly empty and all the restaurants have gone out of business, not sure what happened to Betos, Not the same past service experience, food was definitely not on par! My friends & I met up at Beto & Sons. I ordered the quesadillas, and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful beef & gooey cheese. The sides of dipping sauces and slaw added a nice touch. The mango margarita was refreshing and not overly sweet -- a great balance with the meal. The overall vibe was casual and lively, and the service was solid. Definitely a good spot for Tex-Mex cravings!

So when we sat down, chips and salsa were quick to the table, but now we have been waiting for more than 10 minutes, and we still have yet to get a server for a drink. Ok, finally someone comes from the bar because he noticed us, hmmm... about to try their Margarita swirl strawberry. Now the bean dip is interesting. I was expecting warm, but it's cold, and it's all right, but not for my palate, so the margreta has passion fruit boba balls in it. It was unexpected; it was not my cup of tea, but I could see the fun. So, I am not sure what they are going for the rice, but the flavor is just not it; it looks like more of a fried rice kind of thing. Now the barbacoa casseral, which is what they call it, but they call it enchiladas, is pretty good. I do like the meat and flavor. Now my sister got the fajeta plate; the chicken was good, and the beef was very tender. It also came with a side of rice and beans. She said the beans were good, but maybe could use a bit more flavor. Now, the one thing that I did not like is that they put the cup of beans on top of the rice, which did not look very presentable. Overall, this was an interesting place. I feel like it has asian incorporation, even though the waiter said no, but you can tell because also on the menu, they had noodle bowls. But if you wanna try a fusion Tex-Mex asian, this is it. For me, it's not my cup of tea.
This place is top-notch and I absolutely love it right at the Trinity! You can never go along with 1 ordering their chicken tortilla soup which I'm a huge fan of how they bring it out! You really can just fill up on this whole thing it is super flavorful and very hearty! I absolutely love it and have had it over a few times each time that I've gone! The cool thing about here is that you can sit out on the patio or you can sit on the inside or up at the bar! The ambience is super nice and it has so many cool things all around it and a huge selection of tequila which will not disappoint! The past few times that we went all of the servers have been very nice to us, ensuring that our food comes out piping hot and that our orders are accurate each time! I must say that this is a gym that's hidden the price is a little up there, but I will say that the quality is totally worth it! I will be continuing to come back, especially for their chicken tortilla soup, but everything ranges from their tacos your choice, a flower or corn from enchiladas to amazing meat, selections of chicken steak and our beef! This is perfect to come solo or with a big group of people so come on out. I'm looking forward to coming out really soon in the next few days for my next order. Cheers.

Liked the pickled onions but not sure why the dish had regular onions and the pickled ones. The noodles were slightly burnt on the ends and I just didn't enjoy it. Shrimp noodle soup 6/10: this had great flavor. The garlic sauce should be used in the chicken soup. Plenty of shrimp and overall good flavor. Similar to the chicken, some of the noodles were burnt on the ends.
Our group came here and immediately greeted and sat (surprisingly fast on a Sunday brunch) the server was so quick with everything and patient with our large group. The DJ played nothing but hits the whole time. The food came out in a timely manner and was incredible. My breakfast torta was so filling and fresh along with the kids quesadilla (very big by the way lol) from start to finish this place was a great spot to visit.

Walked by and noticed they were busy. But before we committed we walked over to the bridge to see the vendors for the new soccer event. And we knew we wanted to go back and have some margaritas and food here. Well we made it back and we were starving. I couldn't wait to order some yummy food and drinks. We had chips y salsa free at the table and also some bean dip which is a nice change from the norm chips and salsa. Very fresh. We ordered the regular margarita frozen with a Tajín rim. So delicious. The hubby ordered the mangonada, a little spicy if you like it like that. And the main dishes were the Cuban torta, which was by far the best Cuban sandwich I've had in Dallas. Comes with fries and slaw and they were perfectly crispy. The hubby got the shrimp tacos and he ate them up. His side was charro beans he didn't even get to eat so home they went. Sad we didn't save space for desert. But there is always next time as we will be back. The staff is very attentive and our waitress was on the ball. Fast service and great food. The service was slow, and the restaurant was in poor quality. The table was broken and wobbly. Food was extremely poor quality. For combo fajitas, we received 4 small tortillas and the chips were extremely thin. Everything seemed skimmed down- the salsas tasted watered down. The fajitas were covered with so much fried onions that you couldn't see the little amount of meat received. The portion of guacamole was so small too. The food was actually really good! My salad had the perfect amount of dressing and filled with so much goodness that worked well together. My friends enjoyed their noodle bowls and even got some to go. BUT Service was slow. We had to ask for refills, ask for our waitress, and I just got up and got out to go boxes because no one was around. The price point was higher than normal Tex-mex spots but you are paying for the area I guess read more

Great Mexican food in Trinity Groves; this was my first time visiting Beto & Son. We walked in with no reservation and were immediately seated. All of their menus are digital and it consists of the staple dishes of a Mexican restaurant, made with premium ingredients. We shared the tenderloin nachos and carnitas tamal. This was a perfect amount for 3 people. I loved that the nachos were individually dressed, so we get all the flavors in every bite. They give you loads of pico, guac and sour cream to top them off. The tamal was not what I expected; I thought it would a traditional tamale but it's really delicious carnitas meat on top of a cornbread log. I loved it. I definitely plan to visit Beto & Son again, this was a great experience. read more
This resturant is at a place called Trinity Grove. Imagine a bunch of restaurants attached. The back side of the restaurants had this amazing courtyard. Check out the pictures with all the lights and picnic tables. The restaurants all Have indoor seating for each restaurant. Now on to Beto's! They have a liquid nitrogen margarita! They doo this table side. Kinda pricey but really cool. They come out with chips, salsa, and an off the hook black bean hummus. Never had anything like this before. They do sell this by the quart. Wish I could have taken some home. Those darn airline rules. The Carne Asada taco had crunchy onions on top. These were probably the best Carne Asada tacos I have ever had. If you are anywhere near Dallas Love airport, make the drive! The service and staff were amazing. read more
If you are in Dallas definitely stop past this place! It's located within a strip of other nice restaurants. They serve authentic style Mexican cuisine. They give you chips and dip! Which has a nice kick. The server was very very very well versed on the menu, she made a few suggestions which we did try! Great experience and the ambience was perfect! 2.5 stars but, I'll round up. The service was good. I liked her. The food is overrated like another yelper said. We ordered some margaritas. It was okay. Nothing to write home about. Ohhh chips, salsa, and bean dip came out to the table right away. The bean dip needed love. I don't know what it's missing but, where I'm from, the bean dip I've had, I want to eat it by the spoonful. The salsa was too sweet. I like a spicy salsa or salsa with a kick.. You guys love your queso out here! Good thing, they have a good one here. I enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy my carnitas noodle bowl. It says it's made with fideo but, it was more like a spaghetti. Honestly, it's an interesting concept but, not one I particularly enjoyed. I think the components are good separately. The noodles threw it off. Also, I wasn't a fan of the pickled onions and I normally love pickled onions! I'm just visiting but, I wouldn't come back. It's not the Mexican food I'm accustomed to. read more

Guacamole, Queso Fundido, Queso, Chicken Fajitas This place is awesome. Cute place in Trinity Groves. They were able to seat our group of 7 pretty quickly without a reservation on a Saturday night. The tableside guac is pretty cool since they bring everything out and you can customize what you want more or less of. The queso classic was great. The queso fundido was such a highlight for me--kind of small compared to other queso fundidos I have ordered, but the flavor was bomb and ended up being super filling (I ordered it as my entree actually). ‼Foodie Alert! If you are looking for good food, drinks and services Beto & Son has got you covered! We had the BEST service from Kyle!! He was so kind and genuine and made sure we had a good time! We started off with the nitrogen margaritas ( double shot) , and had the Beto's Loaded Queso w/ steak. Let me tell you that was so BEST queso that I've had to date! For dinner we had the Chef's Betos Tacos (steak, salmon, barbacoa, shrimp) and Steak enchiladas. We topped it of with Mexican candy shots! Everything was 10/10! I was in Dallas for a work trip and decided to go on a little excursion to explore some good food per a TikTok recommendation when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised at the ambience. It was very clean, but fun loving, and it was a Tuesday afternoon so there wasn't a lot of people there. I sat at the bar in my bartender what is 10 out of 10, very funny, very polite, and even allowed me to record him, making their famous . Liquid nitrogen margarita :) Ended up getting the chicken fajitas, would you could never go wrong. I took a Uber, but parking was free and everyone was so kind. This place deserves 5 Stars from their outstanding customer service to their fresh delicious food. Coming from DC on a buisness trip we were looking for a Mexican restaurant and came across this one and I'm So glad we picked it. As soon as you enter your being greeted with smiles. This restaurant is busy so make sure you make your reservations, our wait was for an hour but we ended up waiting for 20 minutes and we were seated. I would've have waiting 2 hours just to taste the delicious food. We ordered 3 appetizers sadly we all god super full and weren't able to order our entrees. Our waiter was super nice, everyone here is super helpful, we didn't wait for absolutely anything. You needed a refill our waiter was there, chips you had someone there in seconds, Please make sure you come on an empty stomach the food is delicious and you'll need some space to taste it all. I wish this restaurant was back home I honestly would be in it every other day. Sadly I leave today and won't be able to taste the menu, however I recommend you do it for me and leave you review on how amazing your experiences was here from service and food. We originally found this place because we were looking for a place that has Salsa dancing nights. Unfortunately, they don't have salsa nights until spring, which makes sense because its pretty chilly. We still went, either way. We came on a Wednesday evening and there were plenty of parking. We really like the vibe of the place. It looked so festive and has lots of lights around the trinity groves. I would have loved to eat outside if it wasn't so cold. They do have outdoor heaters so it didn't look so bad. It is pretty pricey. We got the Pina colada nitro which is $21. It was pretty cool since they make it in front of you so you see the whole process. The mango boba that they serve on top was also very good with it! I got adventurous and I was glad I did because the Salmon noodle bowl is very unique and delicious. The salmon was nice and crisp on top and has really good flavor, while the flavorful sauce drenching the noodles was perfectly seasoned. My husband got the torta cabana which he said was okay. It was huge so we take half of the portion home. I enjoyed my food, however, my husband was disappointed because he was looking forward to a cheap, traditional Mexican food spot. So take note, this place is a modern Mexican cuisine so if you are looking for a traditional Mexican food, this might not be the spot. read more
Food was not at all what I was expecting. Honestly I expected to be let down.....but their chicken fajitas were incredibly tasty! There a was plenty of chicken for 1 person and a ton of veggies. The veggies were very good and really added to the dish. I was skeptical about the fried onion strings on top, but they tasted good as well. I am usually not a big fan of flour tortillas, but their's were AMAZING!!! I am not sure if they are homemade or not. If they are store bought, I want the name so I can buy some for my house. The charro beans are the kinda watery/soupy kind, but with incredible flavor. How do they accomplish this? The add some pico de gayo to the top and it takes them to a whole new level! Very very good. I also liked the rice. It had flavor but didn't give you that bloated feeling that Spanish rice can sometimes do. Overall, the food was better than I expected. And it hit the spot just right! I ate at the bar, and the bartenders were hustling making drinks nonstop. I was waited on promptly and my food was delivered in a timely manner. But the bartenders aren't really available for chit chat as they are quite busy. For a solo diner the bar was good. If I went with a group I would probably want to sit outside (weather permitting) as it seemed to have a really cool vibe out there. I could definitely see it as a place where you could spend some time with friends drinking rounds of margaritas and grabbing some food. read more

The outside dining experience was nice for a table of 5. A but loud but football preseason is here so understandable for Texas. The chorizo con queso was to die for. Savory rich and a unique pairing. This is perfect to split with your table without filling up too quickly. Wagyu fajitas were nice and the tortillas soup made my evening. They even brought a little pitcher out to refill the bowl. I wish I had room for desert but it wasn't possible. The service was steady and we will be back forsure. read more

First of all, our server Bobby looks just like Lionel Messi which was just freaking awesome. Bobby was honestly a very nice guy. He smiled and seemed like he actually enjoyed his job, which made it a much more pleasurable dining experience. Give Bobby a raise. Ok, the food. Holy mother of meat! The fajitas are amazing, fr fr no cap. They understood the assignment, or whatever the gen-z weirdos are saying these days. The wagu fajitas tasted very tender and amazingly well seasoned. I should know because I'm a steak snob. The ambience was a little off. They had the football game on, which is still awesome, but the sound was a little too loud and tended to hinder the conversation just a bit. A cosmetic complaint, but one still worth noting. Overall, a great place to grab a tasty bite with great service. Would definitely go again. read more

We enjoyed our meals (cheese enchiladas, stuffed nachos, noodle bowls) out on the covered patio. Service was excellent & unhurried, portions were large enough for two people (or two meals) & there is more than enough seating, both inside & out, with "trees" strung with light adding color inside & bring situated right next to ArtPark also offers all of its amenities & murals. It's main shortcoming is that the same menu is offered for both lunch & dinner, so you are paying dinner prices for lunch & they were pretty high. read more
Came in for a weeknight dinner with a group of coworkers (9 of us total) and we were accommodated quickly without a reservation. Our server Maria was nice and took care of us. My friend had the salmon salad but she was not too found of it, although the presentation was beautiful. I ordered the ceviche tower which was also stunning but was definitely different than traditional ceviche - the shrimp seemed like it was cooked vs sitting in lemon juice and the sauce on top was sweeter than anticipated. Even though it was different, it was still good but I probably wouldn't order it again. The pozole rojo was definitely my favorite dish of the evening. The portion was huge and I ended up taking more than half back to my hotel and to my delight it tasted even better the following evening. My only complaint is that the pozole could have been hotter when it was first served but other than that, I would for sure get it again. Lastly, not pictured was the sangria and it was delicious and not overly sweet. All in all it was a good experience and I'd love to come back to try something different the next time we're in town. read more

I've been here a dozen times or more. I've never seen any live music, but that's a cool idea.

Yes they do! We were very comfortable out there in December.

My girlfriend was vegetarian and about a year ago went Vegan and this is one of her favorite restaurants. They have special menus in addition to accommodating customers requests. Changes are you'll be very pleased.
