Our server was great, she's definitely experienced as she kept pushing certain dishes and appetizers etc. Gluten free friendly pasta! Basically every pasta dish can be made with gluten free pasta and the meat won't be breaded. I ordered the terelli parmesan which was okay. Not too much flavor going on and the chicken was pretty dry. I added parmesan cheese to it which leveled up the flavor for sure (it doesn't come with any parm despite the name of the dish). The martinis were great. Espresso martini and lavender martini (shown with flowers) and pear tini were delicious. Pretty loud restaurant, but the live piano downstairs is nice and we could hear it well from the upstairs balcony room. My friends loveee this place but I probably would not return read more

I wanted to like Terilli's a lot since I'd waited a long time to make a visit. The service and the ambiance were top notch, but the food left much to be desired. I ordered the chicken Terilli with rose sauce and was a bit shocked at the presentation and the lack of quality. The grilled chicken breast was large but not tenderized at all (just a big ole chicken breast from a freezer pack it seems) and lacked any flavor other than, well, some 'char-grill'. The angel hair pasta was so soft it felt like it must have been cooked before noon and kept warm. And the rose sauce, a combo of their house red sauce and Parmesan cream, had no flavor at all. Honestly, I was very disappointed as I had always heard that Terilli's was a great old Dallas institution. Truth be told, the Olive Garden would've been better. That being said, the dirty martini was A+ so at least that part of the evening wasn't a waste. Two stars for the martini and the service. Half a star for the food. read more

We we're sharing each other's plates and it was all very very good. My favorite appetizer is the Italcho with pepperoni & sun dried tomatoes or prosciutto & black olives. The service is top-notch. The second our plate was empty. They were removing it from the table. Never had an empty drink. The ambience is very comfortable and inviting. A staple on Greenville, Terilli's did not disappoint. Our server greeted us right away and offered us drinks. They make a great Negroni, and my wife had the chocolate martini which is also delicious. We started with the crab claws and garlic bread. This is a fantastic combination and the crab claws are wonderful. The half order was plenty for two people. For dinner, my wife got the spaghetti and meatballs which was tomatoey and flavorful. The spaghetti is very fine which added to the meal. I had the fillet special, which came with lobster ravioli for a unique rendition of surf and turf. The steak was cooked perfectly. They serve you a lot of food, so we had leftovers to eat for lunch the next day. We will be back soon! read more

We visited on a Friday around 5pm and were seated immediately without a reservation. The bar was full. Our server was friendly and eager, the bussers were very attentive. The restaurant was loud, but that's to be expected when people are having a good time. We started with the meatballs and calacini. The calacini was actually an accident but it was a unique spin on the calamari we're used to having. Tasted very fresh. The meatballs were good but lacking salt and pepper. The bread basket typically arrives with the salad but we asked for it early. It had soft warm bread and small toasted pieces inside. The capallini di Angelo and the shrimp scampi were a lot of food! We both had to-go boxes. The food flavors on their own were rich but left something to be desired with the seasoning. Was in town and wanted some crab claws. Been visting this spot since the late 80s, when I was in college. The 90s in my salad days were excellent, with Bernard Wright on the piano...but I digress. No reservations on a Saturday night and the maitre d, directed us upstairs and had a table of 4 for us within 10 minutes. (Shout out to John). Our server was Jules who was excellent. We ordered the crab claws and 2 other appertizers and they came fairly quick, all 3 were excellent. The 3 of us ordered entrees and they were excellent too. DALLAS! You let me down on this one. I frequently pass by Terilli's & it's always so busy that I assumed it MUST be fantastic. I tried going once before & was told I wouldn't make it in without a reservation so I made it my mission to come back dreaming of how good it must be. To my dismay, the food was bland, service was okay, and the live music was the only highlight. Upon arrival, we were "greeted" by the hosts who in short asked if we had a reservation and had, at best, a smirk on their face. Upon sitting down, we were quickly asked if we wanted a drink. We ordered a cucumber martini & an old fashioned both of which could be replicated at any restaurant with a half decent liquor selection. After introducing ourselves to the couple next to us, we found they were regulars and asked what they would recommend. What I assumed was a joke, was truly the only thing worth ordering on the menu, the martini. As I assumed this was a joke, we ordered the chicken Marsala & shrimp fettuccine, both of which were unflavored sauces over overcooked $1.00 boxed pasta, with bland protein. My man made reservations and to say the least, it was a perfect date night. The ambiance was dim light with a candle placed on the table. Our server was really nice. We had the crab fingers for starters & I had the spicy chicken penne & he had the Capellini D'Angelo. Both were amazing. I was told terillis is a Dallas staple and it susny disappoint. Delivering high class Italian food in Dallas it was a 5 star experience from when I walked to when I left. I highly recommend getting a reservation unless you are going to go when it opens. Which is what I did and I was able to get a table. The food was fantastic and highly italchos which is what they are known for. It is Italian nachos and you have several ingredients you can put on it. The sausage and pepper tortellini was delicious and served in a delicious white sauce. Service was 5 star and server was great and answered our questions for whatever we had. I finally found good Italian in Dallas! This place was great for a pre-theater dinner. While we arrived early, there were plenty of people at the bar and it just kept getting more and more busy. Our server was attentive and when we asked for the check halfway through our dinner because of the play, he was quick to make sure we made our timeline. I enjoyed the roasted garlic appetizer. With the addition of grapes and goat cheese it was a very large portion for two. However, my standout was the cioppino. There was so much seafood! Big shrimp, lots of crab, clams, etc. The broth definitely had a kick to it but it wasn't overwhelming. I wished I could have packed up half of it to go but we were going to a play after. But come on it's got all this bread on it to start and then the chicken is breaded.... I know that's what a chicken Parm sandwiches are but the slice of chicken is so thin. Started with some brunch drinks. They have a few really good flavors and they drinks that came out were pretty. Perfect for a girl brunch. We started with the crab claw. They were French in butter and seasoning and prepared in such a way that you can quickly enjoy them. There are no tools to mess with. Then we had pasta and the italchos- so much flavor in every ingredient. The italchos were build on top of a flavored chip- it made for a really good base. Night over night & year after year my favorite Italian in Dallas. I've been a regular of Terilli's since the mid '90s and through living in 3 other states. I keep coming back and my friends are always excited to join me. From the pre-fire days (I have a brick) of Mikey behind the bar and the Spyro Gyra inspired live jazz-fusion music to the rebuilding, second floor and rooftop, Terelli's is family with delicious food and excellent service. While I live the bar for date night there's no bad seat in the house. Start off with a martini and find a wine from their excellent selection. Need help? No problem. The staff can help. To start there is the original and widely talked about Italchos $12.50 but those in the know will order the Crab Claws sautéed in white wine garlic butter (perfect for bread knot dipping) @$Market Price. One half pound is perfect for two. I've never had a bad meal with my favorites being the Chicken Marsala $25, the thick and meaty Lasagna $27 with its Italian sausage, slow roasted brisket (huge portion and excellent cold the next morning for breakfast), but the all time most eaten is the Chicken Terilli $25 with the red sauce. Light and delicate you'll come back for this dish time after time. I do. Worth nothing all these come with a salad. I suggest the Classic Caesar and ask for anchovies (for an up charge). My parents have been raving about this place for a few years now. We decided to go for my bday dinner and boy was I happy. They only take reservations! They have an upstairs area that is only open Thursday - Sunday. We went on a wedn and couldn't sit there. It was busy on a wedn! We got 5:15 reservations because there was nothing else available until 7:30. We had garlic bread and Italian nachos as apps. Woo - loved them both! Both are a must try. For my main I got the lobster ravioli. It was very odd because my first bite was very fishy so I was kind of like ehh but then after that I didn't taste that fishy taste at all. It is in a truffle cream sauce. Fabulous. We ended the meal with flan and it was THE best I've ever had. For my bday they also had a house dessert (cake) which was a very sweet surprise. read more

Came here for my daughter's 29th birthday and it didn't disappoint. Food was fantastic. We ordered the Classic Bruschetta and Beef skewers. Spot on flavors on both, need skewer melts in your mouth cooked medium rare. With that we ordered Belle Glos red wine--they had 50% off on Tuesday nights; we ended up ordering 2 bottles. For our main dishes which came with house salad with a choice of house dressing or classic caesar, we ordered Capellini Di Angelo, Spinach Ricotta Ravioli and Creamy Tuscan Chicken. They were all fantastic, flavors and portions were just right. Service was awesome. Our server Luis Irigoyen was fantastic from beginning to end. Explained the different sauces used in pasta dishes. We ordered the Iltachos, calamari, meatballs and the steak and chicken skewers. Our meatballs never even came to the table. The skewers and calamari were really tasty. The iltachos were decent. For dinner I ordered the lobster ravioli and the prime filet. The filet was surprisingly very tasty. The lobster ravioli was very disappointing. The filling was very griddy and there were lots shell pieces (or some sort of crunchy pieces) in the majority of the bites I took. Portion sizes are hefty and the price point was expected for the area. Wasn't really my place for Italian food; sad they didn't have a bolognese or pappardelle dish on the menu. If you asked me a month ago I would say 5 stars and be so excited to tell everyone and their mother about this place. Well on today Dec.14 The manager Jerry was not as expected when I think of a manager handling an apparent issue with a repeat customer. We always come here and spend wayyyy tooo much money and I would tempt you with photos of the food but I will not provide FREE advertising for a place that is not free of discrimination. We walked in because there were no reservations available online and we were shopping in the area, I called and was told to arrive before 6:30 & we would be able to take a walk in table. We walked in at 6:16 and the place was packed, we were okay with that and expected a wait. The hostesses said 1hr - 90min wait and I suggested outside as their were 3 empty tables and she walked out to check and said 20 mins as there is a table that will be getting up as they paid their tab. I agreed and went for a walk with my husband and children only to return 40 min later to inquire why I didn't receive a text that the table was ready. The hostess says "there are 7 tables before you" and I was confused due to the fact that I was JUST told that we were next 40 min ago. The manager Jerry jumps in and says "wait times are estimated " and I just walked out. My husband LOVES this place and asked to go back inside to ask for a manger. We head back in and asked for a manager & she says "you can't have your hat on " to my husband, Mind YOU a man with his family of a different race was there with the actual same cap on eating that my husband had on . I've never been treated like this in a place I've frequent AND that isn't cheap AT ALL. My husband went outside with the manager to discuss and I decided I wasn't hungry anymore as I can't fathom spending money somewhere that doesn't value me as a person and my family. This WAS our family GO TO for family night out dinner and when we have out of town guest visit. NEVER AGAIN My blood is boiling due to the way we were handled and dismissed with no regard to the caliber of people we are who are loyal, honey, trustworthy and more . We came here for brunch, not really knowing that you can only order off the brunch menu (our bad). The walnut salad was just okay, but pretty fresh, not super flavorful. The Bistro burger was decent, really fresh tomatoes and greens. The customized pasta was alright. The rose was good. The blushing lady cocktail was not tasty and pretty strong (I like really sweet drinks, so this one's on me). I've been here twice and I'm already making another two reservations! The food is so rich and fresh and I always have such a hard time choosing what to get because everything is always so good! The ambiance is gorgeous from the lights to the live pianist and all of the staff are always so kind, lively, and attentive. First time I came I got the shrimp primavera with the parm cream which i'm still dreaming about. The zucchini and squash brought such a rich flavor that I haven't found anywhere in the city yet. This time I opted for the Terillis shrimp scampi and I was not disappointed in the slightest! The tomatoes and green onions complemented the beurre blanc effortlessly and the wine both times ( I first had a red that I can't remember that was decadent and my mohua sauvignon blanc was so smooth) were to die for. For an appetizer I started with 1/2 pound of those wonderfully amazing crab claws. Hands down will bring friends back n get a pound. I agree with the other reviews in that service is lacking!!!!! Or they pick and choose who they want to be attentive to. They also need a full time barback so the bartenders can pay more attention to the customer. (My 2 cents) For an entree I opted for the chicken Marsala. It was good but a bit on the sweet side for me. I went ahead and order the chicken piccata and had my first entree boxed as I the sweetness from the dish wasn't what I wanted today. The chicken picatta was more depressing then the first entree I had. The flavors all muted, I'm done. Maybe because it's Tuesday or I ordered the wrong thing but two entrees basically down the drain. Based on the entrees alone I wouldn't come back it's gonna be more like a grab a few appetizers and head someone else for dinner; 4 me. $150 tab for 2 entrees that' will b trashed. It's our favorite Italian restaurant in Dallas and my husband comes from a large Italian family so he's very picky when it comes to Italian food. We had a great accommodations and our waiter was very attentive. Our food came out promptly and we received a beautiful dessert for further celebration. First and foremost, I would like to thank and commend Marco Polo and Lucas for their outstanding service. Their recommendations, attentiveness, and great sense of humor truly made our experience enjoyable. They are the only reason we stayed, and I sincerely hope you both have an amazing 2026. Unfortunately, despite their excellent service, I would never recommend this establishment nor return due to extremely poor management during our visit on January 2, 2026, between 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM. I was part of a party of five celebrating a birthday dinner. Throughout the evening, I observed the manager walk around the restaurant checking in on multiple tables, asking, "How's everything?" Initially, I thought perhaps he didn't want to interrupt our conversation. However, it became impossible to ignore that he looked directly at our table multiple times and deliberately chose to check on other tables instead. By the fourth time this happened, the pattern was very clear. Every table he engaged with consisted of white families, white couples, or white groups of friends, while our table--a group of African American women--was repeatedly ignored. This did not feel accidental; it felt intentional. If management disagrees, I encourage them to review the security cameras. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
