    Salmon croquettes, grits and eggs

Very popular breakfast, brunch restaurant. Menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage choices and some shrimp, chicken dishes with waffles, pancakes, grits. Some bar favorites to go with brunch. Service efficient, friendly. Large dining areas. Nice morning / lunch meal atmosphere.

I've heard a lot about this restaurant so we decided to check it out. I also love supporting black owned businesses. This was great. We were able to make a reservation, which was great because I know that they are pretty busy. I ordered the pork chop, which was pretty good and flavorful. I also ordered the kids chicken and waffles for my daughter and she really enjoyed it. The food did take a little bit of time to come out but not too long. Overall, it was a good meal and good experience.

I have to start with the service. Not only is Elicious fully staffed, but everyone was on point. I was fortunate to be seated where I could see into the kitchen ... every hostess, cook, server, & busser was on point. Fast moving, yet friendly & professional ... even the newer ones. Our server, Mia, was great!! Knowledgeable and personable. The food. Normal breakfast fare: bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, waffles, grits, omelets, biscuits & gravy, plus fried chicken, catfish, salmon croquettes and more. All was appropriately seasoned and properly prepared. Very good, indeed. I wholeheartedly recommend Elicious!!!!

My family and I decided to try Elicious on a Saturday morning. There was a wait but it wasn't bad at all. We loved that the waiting area was very spacious. The host Sly, was very personable. We loved his rhymes and words of encouragement. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. She offered great recommendations. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary to start. He said it was good but that he preferred more spice to his. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate. Theirs is made with water and she prefers them with milk but she said it was fine. For meals, I ordered the Southern catfish breakfast. The catfish had good flavor and crisp. I loved the breakfast potatoes. The pancake was fine. My only recommendation would be to wait a bit to bring the warm syrup and butter. It didn't take long to get our food but because the syrup was brought so early, it was no longer warm. My husband ordered the Famous southern style pork chop breakfast. He said the pork chop was well seasoned, crispy, and juicy. He liked how well seasoned the breakfast potatoes were and that the pancake was good. My daughter ordered the Mississippi biscuits and gravy. She opted for fruit instead of breakfast meat. She enjoyed her food but said she could have used a little more salt in the gravy. Overall it was a good experience. We would love to go back and try some of the other dishes that were recommended.

Awesome family owned and run business! Still great friendly and Attentive service. Loved the vibe! Food was fantastic! Can't wait to return!

I was with a group of 9 and we had the best time! There's a young man who hosts that will give you a personal uplifting message. He was awesome! He kept us updated on the wait for our table. Once seated, our waitress was great. The food came out looking just like the pictures and tasted very good. As we were about to leave the owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming. Couple notes, it was packed and it's not a big place so plan accordingly. Parking can also be challenging.

    A disappointing Bloody Mary
    Wanda H.

Yes, the rhyming host was very cute. And the food was delicious. That Bloody Mary though was pretty pathetic, both in flavor and in presentation. The service was really good too, though it took a while to get our food. It was hoppin' in there, and completely understandable. The environment lends itself to sittin' around the table talkin'. But that Bloody Mary??? Nope!

My dine in experiences have always been great; however, this being my second pick up order both times something was missing and today I was craving grits only to get home and find them not there. Also, the potatoes that are usually great had an abundance of salt that had to be thrown away. Please slow down and get back to the quality that you have always provided.

As you walk in your greeted by a great host Sly, after a quick run down of the special and a few compliments we were seated really a great way to start breakfast. Our waitress Shy was amazing took our drink orders and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. After our Mimosa were brought to the table we were able to enjoy those for a min before ordering our food. Shy recommend the catfish and it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing fresh, hot and presented very well. A little Salt and pepper goes a long way and that all you need. I got the Fried pork chop meal with scrambled eggs add cheese and pinions my wife had the chicken and waffles with that delicious catfish on the side. The dinning area was spacious and well lit, music playing in the background and plenty of seating which included a bar. Huge shout out to Sly and Shy for the amazing customer service and experience.

A Perfect Southern Send-Off in Missouri I visited this southern breakfast spot while visiting Missouri, and I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious--hearty, flavorful, and just what I was craving on a Sunday morning. Despite how packed the place was (and yes, it was busy!), the service was impressively fast. My waitress, Tiffany, was friendly and efficient, and there was another lovely woman at the bar who helped keep things moving smoothly. I had read some reviews complaining about the noise level, but honestly, it's exactly what you'd expect from a popular breakfast place on a Sunday--it was lively, sure, but not anything that took away from the experience for me. I also tried their pancakes. While they weren't anything wildly unique, they still hit the mark--warm, fluffy, and satisfying. This breakfast spot ended up being a great final stop before heading back home, especially compared to another brunch place I tried earlier in my trip that didn't quite measure up. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town. A great example of southern comfort food done right!

Very great customers service. Food was great and have plenty of seating looks small from the outside but have a set up outside and inside.

I had the salmon croquette breakfast with grits and scrambled eggs. My friend had the catfish breakfast, with a pancake, side of bacon.

What an amazing place! Elicious = Delicious!!! From the moment I accidentally went in the side door and staff smiled and pointed to the back, to leaving with the warmest farewell from Mr. Sly - my time at Elicious was so memorable....I'm even thinking about going back today! I met a friend for breakfast and was so pleased with the warm interior and welcoming staff. The menu is full of breakfast favorites and some new twists. Our wonderful server, Shy, gave us an introduction to the offerings and had such an infectious smile. She took our orders and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. I had the salmon croquettes breakfast with eggs and grits. The croquettes were just like my grandmother used to make, down to the seasoning. Crispy on the outside, full of juicy salmon, onion, and peppers on the inside...so fire! The grits were perfectly creamy and savory. Everything I tasted was superb! My friend had the catfish, I didn't try because I'm allergic, but it looked so flaky and tender, & they were singing it's praises. As we were leaving, a band was setting up for music. I've gotta come back and see who's playing next. Don't take my word for it....go try Elicious!

At noon on a Sunday, it was bustling, but luckily, there was a very short wait for a table. Our server, Antigone, was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my order of salmon croquettes with rice and a biscuit. My mate's Build-A-Breakfast order of scrambled eggs, hash browns, and chicken wings had some of the best-tasting wings that I have ever had in my life. The server came over immediately and gave me menus. I briefly saw the menu online but figured I'd do a once over before making my decision. I went with the build-your-own breakfast and got the eggs and potatoes with a biscuit and turkey sausage. Drink wise, I went with water and a strawberry-pineapple mimosa. The mimosa was so refreshing and I def. appreciated the pour after a stressful flight! It wasn't long until my food came out. I was a bit disappointed at the portion of the egg as they seemed almost too small for what I was supposed to receive. The peppers on the potatoes threw me off. I think I was expecting something different. Nevertheless, they were good but not what I had pictured. Surprisingly, the biscuit was the highlight of my meal. It was perfect! The turkey sausage tasted like regular turkey sausage, so nothing special there. Overall, my server was awesome and gave great service. While I enjoyed my visit, it would have been nice if there signs to let customers know they're under construction instead of walking into dust on the floor, chairs, and everywhere. Aside from that, I def intend on coming back!
