Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich on Everything

Awesome breakfast sammies. I had a bacon egg and cheese. Wife had the Egg and cheese with tomato and jalapeño. Both on everything bagels. Great bread. We liked the custard pies as well. The chocolate croissant that I bought for $2.50 was probably 3-4 days old which is the one of the reasons for the 4 star. We loved our meal here, service was good and would come back if we were in the area again. PS - The one thing that ircked me though is that an older lady skipped the line and was served since she is a regular 1st, even though I had arrived first. She apologized and then continued to add on 3,4 things to her order, that wasn't right. She wasn't sorry.

Went around 3pm on a Tuesday Got the Italian sub/hero. Huge! I like that it comes with onions, oil and vinegar, pepperoni, Swiss, and I forget... I did ask for hot peppers and the guy said they have jalapeños so I added that and said no Mayo but mustard and he did exactly as I asked Service was good. It got busy all of the sudden so another man came to help I also got a small rainbow cookie and the jelly cookie with powdered sugar (Linzer tart) Rainbow cookie tasted okay at first but reminded me more and more of cherry medicine Cookie was okay but I've had better Prices seem to be good but not as good as I expected. Might try the baguette next time or the hot pastrami...

If u are from JC's Westside then u know Elios and has spent time in here at some point In ur childhood!! I recently stopped by to get some good bread for dinner. Breads are still as they have always been! Crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside! Prices are still reasonable. They make great sandwiches here as well! On Sunday's my hubby stops by to pick up their sausage bread! Cakes and pastries are plenty! Try the Italian cookies! Great little old school bakery!!

Lots of options and everything so inexpensive. Got a giant loaf of multigrain bread for $4.20. Grabbed a custard cup, an almond thing and mocha cream cheese balls.

Elio's literally checks the box on everything encompassing of a quality bakery & deli. For starters, they have both amazing bakery items and a full deli (including breakfast and sides). Some menu highlights in my opinion: egg tarts, rainbow cookies, & cappuccino muffins. Not to mention very friendly staff. I love supporting a local business when I'm greeted with a smile and good conversation. They also accept card which is a plus.

5 star upgrade. Consistently a worth while trip to the bakery. The french bread is my favorite. The crust is usually a range of colors from light, to golden brown and some dark spots. A perfect balance of crunch. The inside is pillowy soft full of air pockets. Pressing down on the bread you can see it bounce back into shape when released. Flavorful enough to break a piece and eat alone or eat as a companion. Also, Elios now sells these "Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Bites" that are just scrumptious. Elios staff is always friendly, helpful and hard working especially the filipino dude that knows my name and knows exactly what I want.

Slices of Elio's baguette surrounding home made pate-everyone asked me where the bread came from!

I go to Elio's for their terrific Sicilian pizza slices, sub sandwiches, fresh bread, and custard cups. The pizza squares reheat wonderfully, and I always buy one extra custard cup because I know I'll eat one on the ride home, flaky crumbs in the car be damned! Their baguettes are really good, here's a picture of a pate platter I made and ringed with slices of their bread to top with a mustard schmear and a slice of pate. My guests all asked me where the bread came from! The only downside is that parking can be difficult in the area.

Elio's has had the best bread for over 60 years that I know of! Such a gem, that I hope never closes!!! Their pizzas are amazing.

I've never eaten anything that I didn't like. My faves are: milhojas, breakfast croissant sandwich, and any and every cake with dulce de leche filling. I only tiny, minuscule complaint I have about this place is the lack of signage for the pastries and cakes. It would be nice to know what I'm looking at without having the ask. Absolutely zero gatekeeping here. Please everyone keep patronizing this establishment. I need this place to continue to exist in my hood.

So get anything fresh, like made to order cakes or things you see come out right when you're there. Otherwise you run the risk of getting old stuff, which sucks that they don't manage that at all. On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!
