My boss at work hit my car and I consider it a blessing because it brought me to the Elite Auto Body Shop. CSAA had referred me to the shop since it was the closest to me from work and from the beginning, the service I experience was amazing. The bumper replacement, paint, and bonus detailing work took less than 48 hours from the time I dropped off my car. They even put my personal belongings that I wasn't able to take out of the side doors into a ziplock bag for me. Jazmine the front desk receptionist was attentive, prompt, and kept me in the loop throughout the process. Jerry the estimator and another front desk worker (I believe his name was Patrick) were also a pleasure to work with. I especially enjoyed watching their banter in the morning. I'm giving 3 stars because my experience was just okay. I was referred here from insurance as the closest business who could also get me a same day appointment. When I arrived I was informed that while I was there it would take them 14 days to even look at my car. I went ahead with letting them take pics anyway as this is the first time I've ever dealt with this type of accident. The first thing the technician said to me is "they're going to total this car" again as someone who hasn't gone through this before, that was a scary statement to hear. He proceeded to take photos and told me that I'd hear back from them. Thankfully I didn't give up and ended up getting other quotes. I also never heard back but that may be standard if the assignment was moved to another business. I'd like to say that my car was in fact NOT totaled. Was it a hefty repair? Absolutely. But I was able to have it fixed by a competitor who also was a bit more compassionate about my situation and also told me that while I was driving the car it technically wasn't safe to do so. read more

As an update to my experience with Elite. There was one issue after the repair that required me to take it back many more times. They finally fixed it, but the time out of pocket was significant. I stand by my orignal post with one exception; the shop manager got pretty nasty with me when I called to let him know it was fixed. He started to blame me and would not listen to my objection. I was really nice about this problem, patient, and understanding. He personally was a roadblock to solving this problem. Speak to Charlie if you want it done. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL 04.26 I came in like a week in half ago ( had an appointment at 2pm ) meet with the mechanic he was wonderful. He told he will send a quote to my insurance ( AAA, mind you they was recommended by them. I told them that I needed a shop that's Mercedes Benz approve ) and once they approve it they will call me to bring my car in. AAA emailed me letting me know everything is good to go. I been calling them since. No call back. Today 4.26 I called at 8 am than again 9am than again 10.38 finally got a respond the women who claim she is a manager said she ain't received no phone calls or massages, Mmm okay. I simply said " once my insurance approved it why didn't I get a phone call to bring my car in, because that's what y'all told me y'all will do. Instead I been calling y'all for days to bring my car in " she said she has no idea. That didn't sit right with me, so I said since I been waiting for days can i drop my car off tomorrow since it's my day off she said that the only thing available is next week. I requested if someone above her can call me I gave her my number ( again ) my name ( again ) and she said okay, she will pass the massage when the owner gets in. I called again hours later and she told me that she don't know when the owner will be in that he comes in when he wants too. I politely asked if she even let him know the situation and she said yes, from her tone I felt like she was lying. Than she said I can get you in on the 8th of May I ended up hanging up because what happened to Monday. When I say unprofessional, rude and simply don't care is beyond me. I called AAA and asked to go to a different shop. The way she was treating me, you would think I was tryna bullshit them when I was going thru my insurance and the whole time AAA emailing me asking me when will I be bringing my car to the shop. She was rude from the day I meet her the only reason I decided to go with them was the mechanic he was knowledgeable and very polite. It felt right, however after today I said it's okay, there are other car body shops with knowledgeable and polite mechanic. read more

Julio and team were amazing! I was hit while outside of my vehicle pumping gas. The very nice driver gave me his insurance info and I worked directly with his insurance company. Their insurance field agent called the nearest Toyota dealership and asked where they send customers for body work. They referred Elite. I dropped my car off on a Saturday morning. Julio said he reviewed the insurance estimate and already had parts ordered. I got a call the following Friday that the vehicle was ready for pick up. There are other parts to this story that made me uneasy but Julio working well with the insurance company put me at ease. I planned to pick it up and get the car washed and detailed but it was already cleaned inside and out when I got it. !!! The initial damage was front bumper, grill, headlight, and whatever the detached front part of the hood is called on a Rav 4. Looks brand new now! They're dependable, professional, timely and put out amazing work. I have an older truck (which is my absolute baby) so when it was time to get some work done I had no hesitation bringing it to Charlie and his guys. my car was taken very good care of over there. The customer service was great, everybody was very straightforward with how everything worked with the insurance, and the quote.... They even detailed the inside of my car which was embarrassingly filthy. there was some how a little gouge taken out of the back of the bumper when I went to pick it up, which was not there when I dropped it off. I asked Tony if he would check it out, and he checked the pictures, yes they take pictures of your car when you bring it in, and told me to come back the next day to get it fixed. Only took half a day. No hassle, great customer service, responsive and good communication. I hope to not need their services again, but if I do, I'm going back to them. My parked car was hit in the middle of the night and I was referred, unfortunately, to this auto body shop. I called ahead of time to ask if they could accommodate my mangled car which needed to be flat bedded to them as it would eventually be ruled totaled. They said yes, they would store my car for me while the assessors reviewed damages. I was unable to get inside my car due to the extreme damage to my car before it left. Once my car was ruled totaled over a week later, I was called and asked to come collect my belongings. When I got there, I found that my car had never in fact, been stored (although they collected a storage fee from my insurance company) Instead it had been left in a vacant parking lot next to a dumpster. My window had been smashed, and my car ransacked. Tons of items were stolen. The employees were mortified and said they accepted full responsibility as they had never notified me that my car was unable to be stored properly and I was never asked to come get my things. I followed up with the manager, who could not have been ruder and told me they had misinformed me and they had zero liability. Because so much time had passed, I was unable to then file through my insurance for the almost $1,000 of items stolen. Terrible customer service, and it was a very very terrible experience and I would NEVER refer them to a friend nor would I ever touch a foot on this property again. Shame on them. read more

Scheduled my tow and we're very meticulous about not getting it back until it was even though they probably could have said that it couldn't pass alignment but they kept at it until it was back to normal. Here is the definition of Elite according to Dictionary.com::: "the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons." Well then this shop should not have this title. This is the worst body shop you can step your foot into. They advised my vehicle will be finished within 2-3 weeks. This was extended to five weeks because of parts not coming in on time. Well I can understand that but if I had known, then I would have made other arrangements for my rental vehicle. I ended up coming out $500 of my own money for a rental car because there was no communication from this body shop. It was frustrating because I specifically told them to give me a realistic time line. I truly felt my car should have been a total loss but hey why lose out on a $8500 estimate right? So by this point I am coming out of pocket for a rental car and I wanted the shop to man up for their miscommunication. I remember getting into an argument with senior Charlie, who really shouldn't be at the shop because hes an old grumpy POS. It seemed like he was frustrated too because I would stop by the shop every other day to see if they were even touching the car. So frustrated that we both got into each others face with his last remarks bragging about how much success he has had in his life in comparison to mine. W T F So then we discuss the situation and they tell me that all damage was on the exterior and we were just waiting on some trim pieces to come in. Car was painted and ready to go. I drove the car home and it just didn't feel right. I figured hey I have lifetime alignment I'll get it taken care of since I didn't trust elite to do to an ahem... elite job So at the end it was due to the fact that the rear suspension was cracked and the knuckle was broken. I tell this to the shop owners and they said they will take care of it. I stumble into the shop seeing them ghetto rig my knuckle to the car. By this point I am seven weeks in and I just wanted my car back!!. Afterwards the air bag light is on and all this misc stuff that they never bothered to fix. They basically sent me out to different shops to reimburse me. Well those other shops failed at fixing this issue and I had to go out of pocket once again. Now want to hear the best part? I get a call from insurance a year later saying "hey we owe you $1000 since the suspension piece ELITE body shop replaced wasn't an OEM replacement." The knuckle they used to replace mine was from the scrap yard and no wonder my mechanic told me other wise!! $1000 is great but I mean thanks but no effin thanks!! Horrible place to go, went a handful of times JUST TO GET AN ESTIMATE and they kept telling me their computers were broken or so-and-so wasn't there to do it or whatever the excuse was. I ended up just going to another shop because these guys couldn't get it together. If you don't want a headache, then I'd recommend going elsewhere. Charlie and his guys are good. They do good work and are very personable. I have heard from others, that they work with you. I have know him for years, they do good work. They have fixed my mother's old Accord, she was rear ended/side swipped by a neighbor. They repaired the left quarter panel and replaced the rear bumper. Was able to do a perfect color match on a silver metallice paint job. Top notch work, and only had the car for four days. I have seen theri work and they do great job. My car was totaled and I got an esitmate from them, they were going to save it. I wanted them to fix it. But my car was repaired and it took forever at another shop. Wont say. I learn as a I live, I regret not having Elite repair my car. I was in a rental for two weeks. My trunk leaked months down the road, first big rain. They is a huge gouge that was not there before they repair my car. I have proof, I took pictures of my car at the accident. Charlie is a good guy and so is his son. They can come off a little rudem but they are great people. read more

I own a $50,000 2015 2LT Convertible Camaro. This car means the world to me. My car was a hit by an elderly man who destroyed the quarter panel, rear tail light, side marker lamp and back bumper. I took the car to Elite and Mike's Auto Body for quotes. I had a good feeling for what prices should be given that my father in law works for Chevrolet and my dad is a mechanical engineer for Exon Mobile. Mike Auto Body quoted prices in excess of $500 compared to Elite Auto Body. In addition to the insurance repairs I also wanted my hood and front bumper fixed as they were dented. Mike's Auto Body quoted me $1300 to get this fixed while the car was in the shop for the damage the elderly driver did. Charlie and his team charged me $850 for the exact same work. My car came out of Charlie's shop looking brand new. His team fixed everything perfectly. They also detailed the car and ensured I was 100% satisfied before leaving the lot. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST TAKING YOUR CAR TO ELITE AUTOBODY!! I drive a Chevrolet Malibu and had taken it to the dealership last year after an accident. Concord Chevrolet sends all their Autobody work to Elite. So without choice my car was sent there to be fixed. I was in another minor accident this year and it was brought to my attention that the work done to my car at Elite Autobody was done in an unprofessional and unsafe manner!! I have been driving that car for over a year and it was completely unsafe, Thank god I am okay. After bringing this to Wes the service manager's (At Chevrolet) attention he stated he would reach out to Charlie. It wasn't until after I filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive that I heard anything from Elite. Charlie's customer service was a nightmare. I understand that mistakes are made but he never took responsibility for the work that was done to my car. He told the BAR that he is only fixing my vehicle because of the relationship he has with Chevrolet. Immediately after hearing this I picked up my car to be fixed elsewhere. Long story short, you should find another Autobody shop that values and cares for their customers and their safety. read more

Oh and the clear bra was full of hair and had to be torn off . I took my Audi here a few years ago as they were recommended by the Audi dealership that was across the street at the time. My car was only 7 months old when it was hit so it was important that the job done was darn near perfect. The FIRST time I picked up the car after the work was done, I noticed that the paint job on the side was HORRIBLE. It had an "orange peel" appearance in some spots. In addition, there were still some scratches on the driver's side door which were not repaired. There was also a black piece of the bumper which was scratched. My insurance company had given the ok for the replacement of this part, but it was not done. Anyone looking at the job done would be able to see this job was not worthy of a Yugo let alone an Audi -- especially an Audi that was only 7 months old. I took the car back and they did replace the bumper and repaint which was satisfactory. However, after picking up the car a second time, I noticed there was rattling noise coming from the rear driver's side door. Turns out that they had not replaced a part correctly in the door. That had to be ordered and I went back to have it replaced only to find out that they couldn't find the part and the person who knew where it was just happened to be out of the office. We finally took it back several months later and it was fixed satisfactorily. On the positive side, all the staff was very friendly. They also took care of a small dent that was not part of the accident for a very reasonable price. Would I go back (hopefully I won't be in any more accidents)? No. Incidentally, they were not on my insurance company's preferred list of auto body shops. That should have told me something right there! read more

Probably wouldn't recommend this body shop I understand as head of this place you cant take care of everything but if you trusted your employees to be the judge of your representation they failed and make you look bad They pick up my 2015 mistang 33k simce it was my insurance preferred shop process took about 2 months was told to pick it up Wednesday told them id give them till friday they called me Wednesday only to find my hood scratched driver fender scratched front bumper overspray so i told them not to call me till it was ready to please double check it not to mention i stopped by when i was looking at a job down the street only to find my cars windows down was being sanded with the windows down wow i have pics of everything too interior all a mess so im guessing they have no time to cover the inside since i know the panel of the door was off but they had time to wait for car parts im sure if time was managed correctly you can find a 1 or 2 in between jobs to cover every car so the interior wouldnt be damaged i don't understand there logics acting like my car was trash i can imagine how they treat there cars anyways also to monday now they detailed from wed to monday not including Sunday of course and i was given my car with interior dusty a mess my car had just gotten detailed my seats are full of dust and a mess i just took my car and didnt want to deal with them any more but atleast my paint looks good now except all the wax and scrub marks they left must have been bring your child in to work day and they must have been in charge of detailing i really do love the customer service there service is amazing the main guy did what he could to get my car out as fast as possible and i do respect this company because of the customer service in the front the back is another story read more

I had my truck hood painted over 5 years ago due to someone leaving me a message about my parking ability scratched into my hood. I took it to Elite and they took care of it right away. Just recently, the paint on the hood started to fail, and I took it back to Elite to look at. The owner of the shop looked at it and correctly guessed when the hood was painted years prior, he said that one other vehicle around that same time had what looked to be the same issue. Apparently there was a problem with the a certain color paint they had been sold by their supplier back then, but only one other car showed the effects. He told me to bring in my truck whenever it was convenient for me and they would take care of it a their cost, no hassles whatsoever. Since I was there, I asked him to take a look at some failing factory paint near the tailgate, and he offered to paint that at no charge to offset my inconvenience regarding the hood. I just picked up the truck, it looks great, the touchups are perfect and the hood's like new. Elite has treated me well and bottom line, the paint looks great! read more

I came to do an estimate about small crash to my car at the beginning of the month and i was a little upset with my insurance because they did force to go to this shop which i did not know it. after try and do many other estimates i found that it will be the same as other shops, so i decided to stop wasting my time and go with this shop so i did an appoinment and before taking my car to be repair i decided to see any review about this shop and of course i just read the bad one. i went not very happy, very particular and bad attitude with the poor guy who saw my attitude and did not want to work with me because of my attitude so after a log chat he decided and finally was the best decision ever. after 4 days of works, my car finally got very nice and clean. no more dent. my comment about safeness were put in list and check. it was a great job what they did. my car looks very good,shiny and clean even cleaner than I supposed I left it. they were very professional in the matter. i just want to say that you should never underestimate a store by old reviews of people because it could be a just a once in a moon or just a person who had a bad day.
