Frida's is great. The vibes are superior and the service is always amazing. The food is also delicious! I love the extremely flexitarian menu. Always a good time. 10/10.

The restaurant is a cute space. Love the decor. The service was great. Super attentive staff with lots of recommendations. 3 stars is just for the food. Honestly nothing special about it. It wasnt bad but it wasnt anything I would seek out again. I ordered the coconut curry & added shrimp based on servers recommendation.

Random Wednesday Friend's dinner, bar seating please! Surprised to see some new items on the menu, let's go for the California Chicken Sandwich add Cheddar with a side of mashed potatoes, aioli on the side. Delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed this dinner. Nothing fancy, but straight to the to point. Cooked well, fresh, hot, seasoned. A well made meal, what's left to ask for. Balanced pinot noir in the O.P.P brand. Cloud cake for dessert, it's like a cinnamon cake with freshly made whip. It's light, not overly sweet, just enough to round out the evening.

Lovely upscale vegan-forward restaurant with pescatarian options. I loved the way the menu was laid out with an easy numerical coding system to make you aware of the dietary components of each dish. Hubs had the "steak" bowl (gluten & soy protein) and he said it was fantastic. Gluten is not on my list but I did taste a shred and it was amazing. I had a large salad and salmon which was terrific. He also had the avocado chocolate mousse. I had a small taste and wow was it yummy. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was fantastic. Food was clean, healthy, and delicious. Highly recommend!

I liked my visit to Frida's. I ordered the Black Bean Burger accompanied by Skinny Fries. The meal hit the spot. I sat outside on their patio while my son played with his toys and watched the world go by. The customer service was great, John and Leah are good at what they do. After my wife got off work, I recommended to her that she check out Frida's. I parked off Gannon Ave. Thanks!

Decided to treat my sister to the Easter brunch special at Frida's that was advertised through my email. When we got there we were greeted with a warm, friendly face. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was not. We both ordered pancakes, I got the coconut. She got the blueberry. We got a side of vegetables and beef tips. This is all vegan.... to my surprise, Everything was horrible minus the beef tips they were just OK. The pancakes were terrible, they were gummy and hard to cut , my sisters pancakes. Taste like cardboard .... We were very disappointed! We paid the bill and left to go to treehouse. I do not recommend this place for vegans the image of the pancakes. Look nothing like the image we received.

this place was a delight! the vegan menu is about as extensive as the non-vegan menu. they were able to adapt an item to make it vegan for us as well! here's what we ate and our thoughts: -sunflower meat taco (adapted to be vegan) and it was great! it tastes like a classic taco bell ground beef almost?! super fun since that's obviously not a thing. -pasta con broccoli was SO tasty. we almost didn't get it because we eat pasta at home all the time and we were both so glad we got it! -"the classic" (vegan) was DELICIOUS (had me doubting if it was truly vegan for a minute) -spring rolls a little bland but still tasty -hummus was very good overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back! reasonably priced, great ambiance and delicious food :) the servers were all very polite as well. thank you, frida's!

I was very excited to try Frida's, have been wanting to visit for a while. Sadly I was disappointed with both the food and service. It really wasn't a busy night (Tuesday), but the service was very slow and a bit chaotic. Our waitress dropped a plate and ketchup spilled all over the floor, onto my pants, and shoes. The spring rolls had no flavor and didn't taste that great. The Mediterranean salad had no flavor, just tasted like lettuce. The tacos were basically just lettuce as well, the sour cream saved the tacos and we asked for a bottle of Cholula which added flavor. The tacos were supposed to come with a side of slaw but that never came. The saving grace of this meal was the Frida's burger. It was absolutely delicious - it did come with slaw, the flavor was great, it was filling and tasted very fresh. I wouldn't reorder anything other than that burger, would recommend that for sure. The womens' bathroom had sanitary products and hair ties, which I thought was very kind.

I was visiting St. Louis for the holidays and I've wanted to check this place out for awhile. We had reservations and were seated shortly. The decor is very cute and they have a lounge and bar area to the left when you walk in. The restaurant seating is to the right. When we were seated it took awhile for our waiter to get water and help us. He was very apologetic as they seemed to be short staffed. We weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal. We ordered drinks- an our husbands margarita and the hibiscus margarita. Both drinks were strong and good. We started with hummus, which came with a pita. I would have liked cucumbers or more things to dip, but it was good! We ordered a station no 3 burger, skinny fries, grilled zucchini, and the enchiladas. My burger was okay- next time I would try the black bean to compare. The fries looked good, but were dry and underseasoned. I think the restaurant is careful with oils and salts which I appreciate, but it just could have been cooked better. The grilled zucchini was simple, but flavorful. Really the stars for me were the drinks and the hummus. I would come back but be selective of what I pick. Overall experience 3/5

But right off the bat was one of my pet peeves: QR menus. Maybe when the pandemic was at its worst, they were necessary, but we've learned to live with it, so let's go back to physical menus. The service was super friendly, with our server training a newbie. We started with the Arepas con Platanos Maduros, a corn cake with veggie crumbles and platanos. They were really good. I'm always up for a dish with maduros, so I was happy to see this. For our main course, my boyfriend got the jambalaya, while I got the mushroom ravioli. He loved his dish. Mine was decent, but unless you love brussels sprouts, you may find them a bit overwhelming. I found myself wishing I'd ordered the katsu sandwich. (They were out of the maitake mushroom dish that looked interesting.) For dessert, we got the dark chocolate and tahini budino, a rich mousse, and the cinnamon bread pudding that was coved in a toasted aquafaba whip that was just divine. If, like me, you don't drink, you'll be glad to know the restaurant has a few zero-proof cocktails. I loved my Smokey Orchard, smooth drink with zero-proof whiskey, apple, rosemary, and lemon. My boyfriend got the Rhinestone Cowboy, which does have alcohol. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to folks visiting.

I had checked online and was concerned about portion size, but the meals were perfectly portioned. I got the chicken enchilada bowl and it was very yummy. It was a little spicier than I was expecting and the "sauce" was almost a queso, but it was incredibly fresh and light and I didn't finish it. A friend ordered sweet potato fries and a lemon cupcake for us th split. The fries were jus barely overcooked so they kept sticking to my teeth, but the dilly-heavy ranch sauce was divine and went perfectly with the sweet fries. The lemon cupcake was super moist and delicious. I wish I had paid more attention and gotten infused water from the entry instead of the plain water from the dispenser. They are labeled as vegetarian, so I had to call them to inquire if they had any vegan dishes. The lady was very nice and informed me that as of right now, everything is vegan. Due to previous snafus with vegan restaurants serving things made with non-vegan ingredients, I kindly grilled her a little bit more. She assured me that everything is vegan here, for now. However, they are still in their soft opening, and she says the menu will change and may include vegetarian options. (Look forward to some ramen in the future.) The menu has a nice variety and everything is extremely affordable a la carte. You can also get bento boxes in small, medium, or large. As a foodie at a brand new restaurant, it was my sworn duty to try as many menu items as I possibly could... Ya know, for research purposes. Family Bento Box - Comes with 2 large sides, 3 entrees, 4 spring rolls, and a large box of white rice for $34.99. You pick your sides and entrees from a preset list of choices. My two sides of choice: STIR FRIED CABBAGE - I honestly didn't love the cabbage. I'd prefer it a tad more seasoned and stir fried. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. SOY BASIL - I love basil, so this was quite tasty to me. They were out of their lo mein, but I'd definitely order this again and couple it with their fried rice or lo mein. My three chosen entrees: FIVE SPICED DRIED TOFU - firm, not soft, tofu cubes that are seasoned by the hands of Father Flavor. 10/10 will order again ORANGE SOYA DELIGHT - reminded me of a beef and broccoli with a tangy orange twist. Not bad. SEA-Y FILET & CRISPY SUJI FILET - each of these can be order separately, a la carte. I love that you get a taste of each in this family bento box. One is a fish alternative, the other is a chicken alternative. I really like them both (very good flavors), but the Crispy Suji Filet was my favorite. 10/10 would order again. Additionally I ordered... CY BRAISED DOU BAO ROLL - delicious. Would order again. MA PO TOFU - I don't like soft tofu, but the sauce alone makes this dish worth it. TLC FRIED RICE - a tasty turmeric fried rice that I used instead of the white rice. I don't like mushrooms so I just picked out the few lions mane shrooms that came in it. Would order again. FRIED DUMPLINGS - veggie-filled pan fried dumpling. They were good, as were the spring rolls. It's a nice sized eatery; very open and spacious. They're doing carry out only right now, but they do have tables in case you need to eat right away. Everyone was so nice and patient with my line of questioning. I look forward to seeing what they do with the menu. One parting suggestion would be to label the vegan and gluten free items on the menu to lessen confusion.
