Updated review, six years later. I had to have a tooth extraction done this time, again similar positive experience just as before. Doctor Seraj was great, strong communication before my appointment, including contacting my insurance and getting me a quote before the work. The staff was excellent, courteous and professional. Just like my previous root canal, virtually no pain in the procedure, she was able to pull my tooth in one piece, took only about 5 minutes, clean and quick and has healed up well. Going back to the dentist after over 10yrs of not seeing one was pretty scary. I have to say my experience here has been pleasant. They are honest and aren't pushy about getting things done. I've never waited more than a minute and leave satisfied with the treatment, the work and my pocket isn't bleeding. 09/04/18 I was in the office a few months ago, when I approached the front desk I notified the receptionist of an insurance change. She stated she had reviewed my insurance and that I was good to go. I received a teeth cleaning and went on with my day... a few days later I was notified that my insurance had been changed (which I had mentioned) and it didn't cover the received services. There was no way that I would pay out of pocket when I clearly stated that I had changed my insurance. Well, the dentist was kind enough to bring down the price and give me a major discount due to their mistake. Once again, this place is highly recommended! This dentist has great service! I waited until my second visit to write this review because my first wasnt all that great (at no fault of this office). My first time I had to wait an hour to get seen because an unexpected client decided to show up for a dental emergency. This office is small, three rooms and a tiny check in area. But it is so homey. My second time I was in and out of the office within 30 minutes! And the cleaning was phenomenal, never do I feel like the hygienist was rushing. She did a thorough job and explained how I could take care of my teeth better. Also they are very hip with the times. Sending text reminders of appointments and you can communicate back to that number if you need to reschedule. Warning: parking can be very tight because its a small commercial area so leave some time to find parking. All in all great experience for general check ups! read more

Just to inform you that even though your insurance or you paid for x-Rays, the office/doctor policy is to charge $35 to e- mail you your own X-Rays copy. I consider this petty and unethical. I needed a lot of work done and I have PPO insurance, so I would of paid a lot of money to this doctor anyway however I decided not to proceed with my appointment based on this. Also office felt not welcoming, dark with distinct musty smell. I want to clarify that I did not see doctor. She was not in the office yet even though it was 10 min after my appointment time. I was hesitant to try another dentist due to a bad experience with my previous dentist. They had done a poor job on my braces and horrible customer service. It's been almost 2 years and I finally found my dentist. Dr. Perizad will walk you through the whole process and will explain prices before any procedures are done. She gladly answered all my questions and concerns. Also, Crystal (dental hygienist) is awesome. She did my deep cleaning and did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable during the whole process. The staff is the sweetest and super friendly. I could say the only downside is that the parking is quite small so make sure to get there early enough to find parking. But other than that, I definitely recommend it! read more

In response to owner reply: I called on Wednesday afternoon because my pain that I have been dealing with since February was getting severely worse and I did mention that first and foremost when calling, I also mentioned that I had been there before and only got one half of my deep cleaning done. I was unable to come in for the other half because I was pregnant and the treatment plan mentioned was to wait until after I gave birth to seek consult of an oral surgeon, which I did not receive a referral for. I went to my PCP shortly after our first appointment to get pain meds and antibiotics prescribed for my tooth due to the terrible pain, which was only after seeing my doctor able to remain controlled until after I had my baby. --- Very poor customer service skills over the phone. Called one day at 4:30pm (they close at 7) in severe pain, actually crying over the phone asking if there was an appointment earlier than the next day. If we could just do something to get the pain under control. The receptionist sounds so flat and emotionless over the phone and says, "no...it's going to have to wait until tomorrow". So I ask if I can at least be seen earlier than 5pm the next day because I just can't tolerate the pain. She says in the same dull tone like she's about to fall asleep on the other end of the line, "well....no. It's just going to have to wait until 5 tomorrow." I don't fault them for being busy. I get that...but when someone is calling vulnerable...crying in pain for help I do expect to talk to more than some emotionless robot. I am a medical professional...I know how to triage patient calls...and I know how to show compassion. Come on now. So out of desperation I called another dentist, they close at 5pm but it was worth a shot. Even if it's just to try to get an earlier appointment the next day. Their receptionist was friendly and empathetic. She talked to the staff there about what was going on and they said they were booked but to come on in for an emergency visit. Hallelujah. I've only been to this office once in the past and wasn't really impressed...but I thought it best to try again if anything to maintain continuity of care. It was dark and cramped. The dentist only spoke to me for a few minutes. I've had much more comprehensive evaluations in the past elsewhere...and I left without my chief complaint being addressed (pa. I just completed 1 root canal, 2 crowns and a cleaning in two office visits. The crowns fit and look fabulous . I love how Dr Seraj lays out a complete dental plan and walks you through what is the most important to address first . Great experience . 2 yrs later and one of my crowns needs replaced as it is an improper fit with space between the crown and and gum. I did question it right when I left her and they said it was just temporary and feeling would pass. Office contacted me and has offered to redo the crown. I came here last Summer for some work and was really pleased with how friendly the staff and Dr. Seraj were. It's a small office, but it's but it's professional and modern-looking. The staff is really personable. They treat their patients like family...the members you want to be around lol. My first appointment however was interrupted and canceled when the x-ray machine begin malfunctioning. I was frustrated unbeknownst to them, and had no plans of returning until Dr. Seraj offered to remedy with a discounted service if I returned. I'm so glad I did! Some things are just out of our control, and this was just one of those cases. I'm glad I was the customer who experienced the hiccup versus some less understanding grinch who would write them off as bad business. They don't deserve it. She was great and the prices were reasonable and they accepted automatic payments which I thought was also very cool. Note that they play music videos while performing your dental work. If this is an issue, I'm sure they will kindly turn it off for you. I'm not sure if or when I'll return, as I just realized they are out of network for me :( Dental work can get expensive, and I have to get the most for my money. Clearly the pricing wasn't horrible though, or I would have realized sooner! All of my appointments were on Saturdays which is a rare gem in the medical/dental world. If you're having doubts about this place, don't. Dr. Parizad Seraj is great at what she does and takes pride in her work/business! I came in here due to many high Yelp reviews. but coming in here was good and all basic done. started with my aligners and respected as I been told to use it 22hrs a day or more. To only take it off when eat and brushing 100% I followed. It is better than before. But went back for the 2nd time then was charge again. She did not even choose Invisalign as is promoted. My wife and kids have been her patient for several years now. I finally got around to visiting her office for some overdue care, and I am so glad that I did. The only downside to this office is the parking situation. The lot is oddly shaped, tiny and almost always full. The good news is that is about the only negative I can think of. I had a cracked crown replaced and a wisdom tooth pulled. Now the wisdom tooth can be a major event that can bring with it, lots of pain, infections, and associated regrets - as in, should I have left it in? Day one, there was some dull pain - totally expected. The next morning, there was minimal swelling of my cheeks, and no bleeding or noticeable pain. I decided that the pain meds would not be worth the taking. The only reminder that I had a wisdom tooth pulled, is that I have to avoid eating regular food for a while. Dr. Seraj is a deft professional with skilled hands. She performed all her procedures quickly, cleanly, and the final results were incredible. There is no surprise why she has so many outstanding reviews. They're well earned through her careful work. In a nutshell. Dr. Seraj is the best. I did full lower arch implants with her and she gave me great advice and did a wonderful job and my teeth look and feel fantastic. Much of this was done during covid so this was no easy task but the results are awesome. Now I am going back for my upper arch. To me, trust is the most important aspect. I have been to many dentists in my many years of life and these days, like so many things, dental practices seem to go the way of being very corporate. When I walk into a dental office that has clearly spent millions on fancy equipment, I do not trust that they will have my interest in mind as much as they would care about paying for their fancy equipment and high salaries. Those offices use high pressure sales tactics in my experience. Dr. Seraj is old school and I trust not only her skill, which she has clearly demonstrated, but her putting my needs first.
