I also requested a full refund which they said they would. Hey guys I just want to share my terrible experiences that I have suffered from Merum Face Bar on Watters Creek, Allen. I came in on Friday for a relaxing facial massage which supposed to be gentle - no harsh chemical peel or laser. During the facial, I did notice a burning sensation on my face so I immediately told her and she took the pumpkin enzyme off and it calmed down. It was over an hour facial and they should have noticed my irritation during the process and could have stopped the facial. I also communicated with them clearly about my skin type and the products I have been using. I have combination/oily skin and my skin is not sensitive at all. I never had any allergic reaction to any skin care products I have bought from Sephora/Spa/Clinic etc in my whole life. I also get facial at different spas once in a while but this never happened before. Now they are telling me to seek professional help as there is not much they can do. I am traumatized looking at my face right now. I could not see a dermatologist on the weekend and still do not know if anyone can squeeze me in next week so my anxiety is crazy right now.... Also, They don't even offer me any post facial cream to help with the irritation. No offer to issue a full refund on this traumatized experiences. I am originally from California so I've been receiving treatment from Face Reality's headquarters but from 2014-2015 I lived in Dallas. During my brief year in Texas, my skin was severely dry and breaking out like crazy. I tried using all kind of moisturizing cream but I just couldn't get my skin to hydrate enough. I did some research from the Face Reality site to see if I could find an esthetician in Texas so I could continue my routine. Luckily, Nancy's office was somewhat close by and she also had been trained by Laura so I was super happy to see her to help me with my skin. At this time I was near Farmer's Branch so the drive to Frisco was lengthy but worth it (in my opinion). Nancy was thoughtful and listened to my struggles with the dry weather and acne. She provided the same treatments that I had at Face Reality's headquarters and she also carried many Face Reality products as well! I was so happy I would be able to pick up products instead of having to wait for them to ship to my apartment. My skin improved immediately as soon as I started getting the chemical peels and extractions. I was so used to thorough extractions from the California office that I was surprised how quick and painless my extractions were with Nancy (or maybe I just didn't have many pimples!). Expect the appointment to be around 30 mins total. Of course this could be longer depending on the severity of your acne. Her office is in a small plaza with a small parking lot. The times I've gone for appointments, I was always able to find parking but if the lot is full, there' street parking since the surrounding area is in a residential area. Overall, if you are suffering from acne and dryness, I'd recommend to at least get a consultation with Nancy.
