I've waited a few weeks to review the Elite event because I wanted to compare it to other/similar golf simulators that I won't disclose here. But here is my overall assessment of The Back Nine. First of all I want to say thank you to Meg and her intern for the event; I appreciate your organization skills and enjoy chatting. One of the first things I really enjoyed about learning about Back Nine was that they allow you to bring in your own food and drink. I would rather not spend the extra money on bar food if I can just bring in my own. Golf is expensive enough, which leads me into my next point...Back Nine is considerably cheaper than other golf simulators. There are punch passes & membership pricing. Also they are open 24/7! Another thing I noticed is that the lighting is so much better than other golf simulators...you can actually see what your doing. And, there is no tacky moveble platform which seems like a good thing, until you trip over the platform cause you always slice the ball, lol. Myself as a causal golfer, this is more my lane. The tee time packages at 5,10 or 20 hours look like something I would personally use. The 24/7 access, the ability to bring in your own food and drink, and the cost is what I am most excited about. read more

This was so fun! I didn't know about Back 9 until the event came up and I'm excited to tell all my golfer friends about it. I definitely enjoy this kind of golfing more than golfing outdoors on a course! I had a great time learning about Back 9, practicing my swing, eating, drinking, and chatting with other Elites. It was a no pressure way of trying out a new skill. I have no skill with it, but it was still fun! The cherry on top was Via Farina pizza, oh man was that so good. I hadn't had pizza from there in so long and can't wait to go back. I'm really happy they have a more convenient location than going all the way to 10th street! Thanks Meg for alcoholic and NA drink options, I tried an NA Peroni and would have one again! I was impressed learning that the experience is customizable. Meaning you can bring your own food and drinks and make it your own time! The golf pro said he and his wife bring dinner from home, drinks, and make it a cozy fun date night. read more

Back Nine was such a fun experience! I've been to golf simulators in the past, but back nine offers private bays for reservation. The bay were were in had couches and seating, so those not swinging could lounge comfortably. The simulator system took a little getting used to, but after a quick tutorial by the manager, Nicolas, we were ready to swing! I liked that the simulator showed you the path of your ball so you could make adjustments accordingly. The golf director was super helpful and gave me some pointers on my swing. Let's just say I have a long way to go until I'm in the pros still had a fun time learning a new skill. The simulator made it more approachable because we could each swing a few and take turns. Their packages seemed reasonable, especially if you're an avid golfer. I thought it was a fun date night and they did mention some of the packages have the option to bring a guest. This was such an unexpectedly fun event! We had a group of people who weren't huge golfers, but we wanted to play around and have fun anyway, and that we did! The golf pro was also super helpful and gave us tips along the way and showed us how to navigate the game. Via Farina was an unexpected yummy surprise. I love their pizza! I thought it would be more finger foods, so having pizza was a nice surprise. There was also a great selection of drinks, including NA beer and sparkling waters. And I cannot get that cannoli dip off my mind. SO good! I also loved that they let you bring in your own food and drinks! It makes it really easy to make the experience your own. Meg always does such a great job with the swag, too. I loved the golf visor! Overall, such a fun experience, even for those of us who aren't golfers. read more

This place is open 24-7! Imagine you're sitting on the couch as 2 am watching golf and you just KNOW that your swing is upgrading by osmosis but you can't prove it because it's 2am. NOW YOU CAN! If you're a huge golfer and can't find time to go practice you have to check this place out. The virtual screens are awesome. Tons of options for practice including games for all skill levels. Such a fun little event with multiple private rooms to golf in! My friends and I had a great them learning to improve our swing, and enjoying the pizza, drinks and snacks provided. This location is small in the strip malls, but has more rooms than I expected! I've never been in a private simulator room but loved that this place is set up this way vs. the more open concepts Ive been to. This is a perfect spot for a small birthday or other party for someone who loves to golf! read more

Gotta be honest, I had never heard of this place before, and I'm definitely not a golf girly! This place is kind of tucked away in the corner, so unless you're literally driving right past that area, it can be easy to miss. The event was very laid-back, which was nice, and there weren't too many people. That's probably a good thing since there are only four bays, and it can get pretty tight in there. This is also a bring-your-own-drinks-and-food kind of place, so we had Fia Ferina pizza, and it was tasty! I especially loved the smokiness of the crust. I attended the Elite event, Swing into the Back Nine, and had a great time! Meg and Maddie did a great job putting the event together. I got to practice my swing and try out one of the bays. This event at The Back Nine was a fun, laid back event that combined various skill levels of golfers with pizza from next door at Vic Farina and drinks from Yelp. The individual bays are set up for multiple golfers to play games on simulations of real courses or practice in the open driving range. I liked the variety of options when it came to playing since we all were of various skill levels having fun. It was nice we were able to bring in food and drinks since they do not have a kitchen on site. Full disclosure: I have never golfed in my life beyond putt-putt, and even that was probably 20 years ago. I was hanging out with a group of people who also don't golf regularly, which made the whole thing a lot more fun. I was pretty terrible at it (no surprise there), so I'm not sure I'd come back on my own. That said, for anyone looking to practice their swing or just try a different kind of activity, this would be a solid, entertaining option. Really enjoyed the Back Nine! Golf can definitely be intimidating and this is such a great way to get a little more comfortable with your swing. Having a private room is really nice to feel relaxed and not rushed. You can practice and see how you hit the ball and a dozen other stats that can help you improve. It would be helpful to use their golf instructors to make it even easier to understand that information, but if you get the gist or know a lot about golf you might even find just the numbers helpful. The instructor who set it up for us was really nice and personable. You can hit long drives, practice your swing, or even try to aim for a hole. Bonus points for climate control! read more

This was a neat experience, and it was great to do some (air conditioned!) golfing on a hot and soupy Nebraska day. There were four total bays, with a good amount of space for groups of about six. There was a couch/chair/desk area for people to hang out and visit while someone was hitting. The location in Regency Landing is super convenient to access from East or West Omaha. I was really impressed with the simulator - it gives you a great video of your swing, along with all the relevant ball-flight statistics to help you diagnose and correct issues with your swing. There's also a wide variety of games you can play, in addition to range time. I really enjoyed closest to the pin: hitting approach shots/short par 3s. It's also really fun to virtually play famous golf courses and holes. The pizza from Via Farina was excellent, as always. I love their Neapolitan style pizza, and my favorite is their pepperoni. Back nine was such a cool place to try out! Their golf simulator was really easy to use and it had tons of statistics about your swing, along with playback of how your club hit the ball. It would be a great place to work on your swing and get real time feedback. I liked how they also had games you could play like longest drive or who can hit closest to target because it made it more fun for someone who isn't a pro. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and comfortable. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive but if you really want to keep your game up in the winter, this could be the place for you! read more

I have hit at a different simulator before but this one was leagues ahead! The separate bays allowed for new golfers to swing without worrying about a crowd watching them. I felt like the simulator did a great job of ball tracking and stat tracking. There are multiple modes to choose from but I wish there was a mode that offered driving range look with targets to aim at. The format is great for golfers that are wanting to try new courses! Talking with Nic, the membership sounds great, allowing individuals to schedule times outside of hours open to the public, and getting priority scheduling in the fall/winter season. The higher level memberships allow you to schedule at any of the locations and bring friends, allowing you to get more out of the membership. The rooms were clean, all of the equipment was in great condition, and there are chairs/couches and a TV for people that may want to hang out but not golf. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised by this event! I have always been wary of indoor simulators because I'm worried about the ball coming back and hitting someone but I actually felt so safe! The golf pro explained the tech they use to make sure the balls are absorbed and even at a full swing it just plopped to the ground safe! I love how the tech shows you a real slo mo video of your ball contact so you can see your club face angle and contact! I have a bad shank habit so it was nice to visualize how I'm closing the club face and try to correct it! Also it gives pretty accurate metrics! I hit about 130 with my driver and it was matching almost exact! I also loved the general set up we had one of the rooms and it was pretty quiet and our group was all able to sit and chat while watching someone swing! It was nice to be able to trade in and out whenever we wanted. I would for sure come back here and I know they mentioned lots of different packages and memberships! read more
