This place started off solid. You can tell by my previous tips, unfortunately my recent experience was horrible. I went in on a Friday afternoon for a foot massage and was greeted as usual. My masseuse was the male answering the phones, scheduling appointments, and charging the customers. Strike one. During my massage he kept leaving to charge customers and run credit cards etc. Strike two. He and the other therapists were holding social hour while doing their work, laughing, talking, etc. I kept my composure and did not leave mid-massage because I wanted to give him a chance. Once my massage was over I paid and left him a $3 tip. He said to me in front of other customers "Hey lady my tip is $5" I told him that my massage was not worth what I paid for it and a $5 tip was not worth his rudeness. Now mind you I am not expecting Glen Ivy or Burke Williams treatment, but I am expecting a quiet, peaceful environment. Also they were about 10 other employees there. Couldn't somebody else answer the phone? Sorry Elite foot spa but you have lost a client. There are other foot spa's opening in Montebello that I will be spending my money at. read more

Clean place, relaxing atmosphere, staff really professional. Went today with a friend and both of us left there feeling relaxed and brand new. Parking is really convenient, be aware that the place only accept cash, so go prepared. The only reason I'll not give them five stars is because on our visit I could hear people talking and laughing at some video in YouTube or whatever inside the place. I don't think that is an appropriate place to do it since people go to relax. Other than that no complaints. My friend and I went using our Groupon voucher, when we called to reserve the appointment the staff said that they couldn't do two Groupon at the same day, but as soon we told them we bought to go together, they did an exception to us, which was positive. Overall it was a great experience, I recommend and will definitely come back. read more

When I got to my appointment, the lady wanted to charge me and I told her I paid through Groupon she then told me she didn't have an appointment. She said I didn't clarify that I was using Groupon. What difference does it make if one has an appointment whether it's Groupon or cash. Terrible business practice! read more

Like most upset customers, I came here using a Groupon deal with my boyfriend. It wasn't complicated to make an appointment but from what I understood over the phone, regular non-groupon customers get priority. Anyway, we were the first ones there and the foot and body massage for 70 minutes was good, a bit oily but overall good. However, beware about getting a tip demanded. Actually, it was very impressive how aggressive and demanding they were adding that "regular customers usually give $10 each" and with a scary smile. This was my first and last time here. I purchased a Groupon for a 70 Minute combination foot and body massage. My appointment was at 10, they opened the doors at 9:50 when I walked in and after about 2 minutes they asked me to come back in 15 minutes. I said no I will come back at 10. After stepping out side for a few minutes a returned for my service. The massage was below average and I did not recieve my full 70 minutes. I will not return or recommending to anyone. I purchase a Groupon and it was close enough to my house, the price I paid was great. I paid 20$ since Groupon offered me a 20% off. I walked into the establishment and the environment was nice, dim lighting with relaxing music playing. I was greeted when I walked in and attended to right away; I called in advance and made an appointment. The service was good; the message was "ok" a little too hard for my taste. I was in pain rather than feeling relaxed; I couldn't loosen up because the girl that was massaging me was doing it too hard. I will not be returning. I would recommend this place to someone that prefers a hard massage but to feel relaxed and at ease I would try a different place. read more

I bought a groupon deal for a foot and body massage. Scheduling an appointment via phone was easy enough. Inside there are multiple beds lined up and some had curtains for privacy. Overall, the staff stayed quiet which was nice to keep the environment calming. Person doing my massage wasnt that great though. He had coldish hands and he was too rough at certain spots. He left me bruised up a bit on my back and lower legs. Prices are affordable. Side note, groupon claimed the value of the massage was A LOT higher than the real price at the place (claimed it was like $85 but when when I went there, it was only $30 so I saved only $5). I wont be going back again due to the painful massage. read more

First overall massage was good, attention to detail in pressure points was good. Added bonus of facial massage is nice to have, some lack of attention to hands and feet. Some of the negative started with the costumer service, as soon as we came in they had trouble accepting our Yelp offer, And added restrictions of their own including a mandatory gratuity feed of $10 which was not mention anywhere on the offer or in store. ( I understand the concept of tipping and I believe in 20% for great service but it's up to me the costumer to tip as I see fit) One of the masseuse had untrimmed nails. And two of them continue to have a conversation while performing the massage. Also some of the staff was coughing during the massage. The location was easy to find, parking was ample with a variety of other shops to enjoy your time. Personally, we won't be coming back with the lack of costumer service and restrictions on the offers I can find better massage spas with better amenities. read more

3rd visit here, very happy I decided to walk in. This place is great! Clean and the massages are just right. I work out and injury is inevitable. Soreness and tired muscles need a good rub down. The massage tables are separated by curtains, its quiet, peaceful and the towels smell clean. There is plenty of parking and prices are reasonable. I've spent hundreds at well known spas, with good and bad experiences. The advantage here is that I don't need a month in advance appointment, they are skilled and reasonably priced. read more

I'm always left satisfied whenever I get Sally or Lily, but the guys are really inconsistent. The prices are great, and I like the decor. So if you're going to go here, make an appt with Sally or Lily or just say you want a girl (they're the only girls). Lily can do harder, but I find Sally to be more accurate in where she presses. Either way, I feel like they actually hit the spots better in general compared to other cheap massage places. At other places, I find that they spend more time on weird places like my ears and tend to have bad aim - massaging my trachea instead of my neck muscles, like seriously. Also, despite any language barriers - be vocal early on and they'll usually accommodate any specific requests like "focus on my lower back". read more

Loved this place! My first time there, I used a Groupon just to check it out! My massage therapist was Lily. Lily was wonderful and I loved the private area that separated me from open area; even with just a curtain. Very tranquil and dark and was quite relaxing and comforting. Had a 70 minute combo. I've been to several of those cheap foot massage places around the San Gabriel Valley. This place is definitely a cut above the rest of those. Just because someone like me is flexible and will change rooms midway through a massage doesn't mean you should treat the quiet client horribly and the loud and demanding client with more respect. read more

I came here yesterday and it was an interesting experience to say the least. It was my first time ever getting a massage. Location: it's in a shopping center, kind of hard to find. I made an appointment since the receptionist said it's better to make one. I was gonna buy the Groupon deal but it's the same price as paying there so I did that. I went with my boyfriend. I went a lil early but she showed us our "rooms" immediately. Coming in it's very dim lighting and they had like "relaxing" music. The receptionist explained to me what they would do. I got the combo and my bf got a regular back massage. I sat and waited for the masseuse to come. He came with a bucket for my feet to soak and told me to lay back. Then He proceeded to massage my face and shoulders and I felt kind of awkward but it felt nice. After I guess my feet were "done" he dried them off and massaged my feet and calves, it felt good for me. After that was done he went for the body. He massaged my legs and arms while I was face up, over my clothes. Then he asked if I wanted an oil massage for my back and I said yeah so he told me to take off my shirt while he waited outside and held the curtain closed and told me to tell him when I was ready. I layed faced down, and the little hole were you put your face kind smelled nasty, like pee or something. So idk if they wash it. After I was ready, things got real... The massage was very intense for my liking. I thought it was gonna be soft but he went in hard, I kind of felt like a piece of meat getting tenderized. He applied all his weight on my back, kind of like he was trying to crack it. He was rubbing it very fast. But he did keep asking me if felt ok. At the end of the massage they put hot stones on your back. Honestly, I think they were too hot. At the very end they hit your back and legs and I felt like I was being punched. I couldn't help but laugh cause it really hurt. Then they quietly tell you they are done and ask you if you want some water or tea. Then they leave you to get dressed and wait for you at the front desk, waiting for their tip, which I expected from reading the reviews. For my bf, his experience with his masseuse was the same in terms of what they did. The next day my back was sore and idk if that's a good or bad thing. So I guess the take home message is, if you like those hard, intense, deep tissue, agressive massages, this is perfect. But for me, it wasnt the best experience. To add on, the whole time I was getting the massage, the guy kept yawning and burping. And in the background I heard the employees clearing their throats, like if they were hocking loogies which I thought was gross. read more

The lady masseuse that massage me was horrible and rude. I came 18 mins early but I did ask is ok to wait till my appoitment but the male reception told me that no problem & can start right away. I heard the masseuse that suppose to massage me bubbling in Chinese at the back, probably disturb her lunch time. I felt the bad energy already since then. I told her to massage more on my lower back for few times but seem like she don't even care what I ask for and most part of my body seem like just rubbing feeling with lotion not point massage. I don't feel that I am getting massage at all. Usually I tip good other place I went but since her service is really bad, I just tip her $5. She immediately making noise ( speaking Chinese thought I don't understand ) and show me the paper print that minimum tip is $7. How can the merchant decide how much % the customer should tip? It's optional & up to the customer. Base on her service & behaviour, I don't even want to tip her at all. This is my 1st experience place that the merchant force customer to tip minimum $. Friendly service and excellent staff who are experienced experts in massage techniques. My preference is deep tissue massage to work out the kinks and tension. It's difficult to find a massage therapist who truly knows pressure points and who targets troubled spots by understanding your body and how to relieve your tension and pain. Alan is a bit on the rough side but if you want a well worth massage, I highly recommend him. He breathes a bit loud, but means he works hard.
