My friend and I indulged in the couples massage after I found this place on Groupon. Overall, I felt the customer service was initially fine. Nice location, clean and well set up. My masseuse was a lady named Ma, she was excellent and we gave a $20 tip to each masseuse. When the gentleman who handle the money gave it to them, something was said in whatever language they spoke and they looked at the money and all laughed. Based on body language and reaction, we presume they were not happy with the tip. The massage was great, but I would not be willing to offer more than $20 tip for various reasons. 1. Staff was talking in the hallway, 2. It was a quick 60 minute massage nothing luxurious, just a massage with everything feeling like it was rushed and it didn't include the feet, 3. The therapist left the room for several minutes and didn't say she was leaving. There was an abrupt halt and she came back several minutes later to finish. I give 5 stars because I feel like I had a good massage for what I paid. If therapists wants a $40 or $50 tip for a $35 massage then you need to deliver a massage worthy of a tip double your charge. I say this from the experience of being a massage therapist myself, not a complaining customer. Wow...what a bad experience. I have been going to this place for the past two years. The price for an hour foot massage was $15. So I walk in and ask for the $15 foot massage and the receptionist shows me a menu of services with the price of the foot massage "white out'd" and $20 handwritten over it. I should have walked out right then, but I didn't. I was the only person there...I should have walked out, but I didn't. As the massage begins, the masseuse, which spoke broken english, kept stopping the massage and asked me if I wanted a full body massage. She did this 3 times during the massage. After each time I said I wanted the foot massage, I noticed she relaxed her technique and the massage was not what I was used to, based on past experience. I should have walk out, but I didn't. After the massage was over I went to pay and the receptionist was gone. I should have walked out, but I didn't. The woman that gave me the massage came out and said "money" with her hand out. I gave her cash for the service and a 25% tip. She looked at me kindly and asked for more money for a tip. I told her the tip was included and she got more stern and said "MORE". I refused her request and told her "No more". She looked at me angrily and spit at the money I had given her and in her own language gave me a disgusted look and muttered angrily as she walked away. I went at 10am on a Saturday with my girlfriend. It was empty (10am good time) so we were taken care of right away. The foot massage is $25 for a 1 hour massage. I have been here before and you just never know who you will get and if they are good. Luckily the person that I got was really good. Just so you know the $25 get you a foot massage and they also do your arms, back, legs and obviously your feet. I loved it! The nice thing of an empty room was my friend and I were able to carry on a conversation. I have seen other reviews here where people say they were chased out because they did not give a certain amount of tip- they definitely did not chase out. I would recommend if you go here to give a tip above $5. I mean it really depends on how you feel the service was. Remember that most of these individuals count on their tip. I think anything above $5 is fair. Overall I enjoyed my experience. I will definitely come back. Oh they also give you Chinese tea after the massage -- so good! Amazing massage! I did the couples massage for one hour and it exceeded our expectations. We feel so relaxed ! They massage every part of your body! They started with regular massages then oils then hot stones. Massage the neck, face, ears, head, fingers and feet. It was so relaxing. The space is big with nice calming music for a great price. The most terrible and unprofessional service ever encountered throughout all the massages I had before. The masseuse came out chasing after me and my group after not getting enough tip. The male and female masseuse would not let us leave until they got what they wanted. I tipped 5 dollars (always do at every Chinese massage place) and the masseuse was not satisfied. DO NOT COME HERE! I am serious. I had a traumatic experience with my friends where they followed me to my car and hounded me down for tips. I was tempted to call the police but decided not too because I felt it wasted my time. Anyways, we accidentally tipped the wrong person and the other masseuse followed me to my car and was like not enough tip. I understand we made a mistake on our part, however, tip is also optional. I couldn't believe how low cost a fantastic one hour massage was. Everyone was super friendly. Great massage, hot stones, and oils. It's not a hotel style full private, but I've paid double this to be on an open group room and the semi private was far beyond the price for the treatment. To those talking about the tips, it's obvious the actual masseuses are working for tips only and I'd chase after them to if they only pieced me off $5 after a one hour nice massage. to be honest, I didn't like it whatsoever ! yes they were very polite and welcoming when we got there but they told us to next time buy the deal in the store instead of Groupon. Once when got inside they didn't have doors for privacy to take off our clothes they had curtains that really didn't close right. Few minutes into the massage she decides to put my whole underwear down and starts to massage my bottoms, I politely told her I didn't want hands on my bottoms or my crack to show, she said okay... but within a minute she still puts it down. Once we were leaving the front desk guy was telling us to tip them $10 each, we didn't have cash so we said next time we will, he said "no there won't be a next time plus they were too tired to come to work today so I think they deserve a tip more than $10". I pulled out at least $3 bucks and then they got all mad and started showing attitude.
