I like that this is coveniently located right off the F/G train, which makes this a quick and easy stop on the go. The space is clean and modern with a full menu posted outside and inside. I ordered the Chopped Cheese on Hero ($10) and a Cajun Fried Chicken Sandwich ($5) from Krispy Krunchy Chicken. They had misheard me at first and gave me my sandwich on a roll, but immediately remade my order on a hero. They were super nice and apologetic about it. The chopped cheese was OK, but wished it was more cheesy though. Plus, the bread was a bit tough to chew. The chicken sandwich was solid as well, but could use more sauce and wished it was crispier, but it has been sitting out. Overall, good spot for on the go and you want something quick. This is one of several brand new bodegas on Smith Street, and it's pretty solid so far. It's clean, and bright, and the dudes behind the counter are nice and welcoming. They've got a respectable selection of all the things you'd expect (drinks, candy, cookies, snacks) and an insanely extensive menu of items you can order from the deli counter that mostly fall into the categories of juices, smoothies/shakes, sandwiches (breakfast and otherwise), salads, and hot breakfasts. That said, the place is new enough that I'm not sure they're fully equipped to make everything up there. Bagels and cream cheese, chicken cutlet sandwiches, bacon egg and cheeses...these they seem to have down. But if you get a cobb salad or banana nut pancakes, I'm betting you'll be waiting for a minute. This is just my assumption because a simple smoothie threw my guy for a loop, but once he finally figured it out, it was tasty, and a really good value at $5, considering I've gotten smaller, less nutritious smoothies/juices for more than double that price a couple blocks away. What you WON'T have to wait for is Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken, which they just added. Man...if you've never had it, it is shockingly tasty Cajun fried chicken and you can really never go wrong.
