I used to really enjoy Elite Nails, but more recently they have been under new ownership. When I went for my first appointment I had scheduled an appointment for a full set, when I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment they had me wait 20 minutes until they began my working on my nails. I'll admit that I was happy with the shape of my nails on my right hand, but when I left the store and went outside I discovered that the shape on my left hand was much pointier and didn't match the shape on the right! I even had 3 friends comment on the poor shaping of my nails... that being said I went back 2 weeks later to have them removed and they rushed with their work, not removing all of the acrylic. Overall, they seem to rush to make money rather than produce quality work. read more

Way way way way over priced! I mean they literally have an extra charge for EVERYTHING. I literally paid $125 for gel pedicure and full set. They also try to up sell you for the pedicures, also not worth it, don't do it! all it is is some masks from a package and some hot stones. I got the exact same thing @ queen nails in Manchester AND Impression Beauty Salon (lisa) in Lawrence MA for $50 dollars cheaper and LOVED MY NAILS. No extra charge for length, no extra charge for shape. Prices are exactly what they are as posted. Granted if your into more extravagant nails with stones and designs ONLY THEN will there an up charge. BUT regular length slight coffin shape and ONE solid color cost me $75 at most! As I believe it should be! I will say that their pedicure massage chairs were amazing though! I hate leaving a bad reviews but ladies I'm telling you this place is way too overpriced. We went here today for manicures and pedicures, we get natural regular manicures without gels, etc. We made appointments which is great because we were seated and taken right away. I like the pedi area, clean, well lit, chairs comfortable and liners in the foot baths. We both liked our services and we were serviced at the same time together. Excellent foot and leg rub, same for hand and arm, I always factor this in if I will return. Shop is clean, well organized and cheery. We will be back. I am far from spoiled nor do I ever leave reviews however the positive reviews are what made me go here and I can't not share my experience with other people who may make the wrong choice, like me. My nails came out OK, and I say OK because there is absolutely no way it a BASIC ACRYLIC SET with a simple WHITE POLISH should come to a whopping 46$. I read reviews to be sure, I even saw his price list sitting in the salon... He still managed to up sell me 20$ when I can see posted here getting GEL coats and ACRYLIC NAILS at 36$. The fact that he pretends to listen to my reasoning on going to a new salon based on, NAIL TECH ATTITUDE & OVER PRICING - to then start running down another salon the whole hour I sat in his chair, not to mention continuously adding that black, & spanish American people, & American people in general cannot do nails. NO TIP from me, the 10$ you overpriced me is your tip & I will make sure to turn everyone I know AWAY from this place. mad at myself for even paying them. I will post a photo, because my nails came out ALRIGHT - yet for almost 50$ he missed major parts of nail with polish, & they have the air bubbles & bumps he wanted to run other salons down for also giving their customers. ALSO how im professional to comment back trying to correct a customer - NICE TRY. this is a STRAIGHT SHAPE - you don't get to charge someone for refusing coffin. i wanted to clean & fitting to my nails - you charge people 5$ for a DECENT shaping? he scraped my nails with the file on each side twice. HARDLY call that 5$ worth a job but of course you are going to try and defend yourself when you're wrong. In all of my years of getting my nails done, I have never been so disgusted. Not once was I told to wash my hands. As the nail technician was doing my nails, she was also doing her own. Any product she used on my nails, she had used right before on her own hands, in front of me. She got up and left at least four times during the 15 minutes I was there. Also, the nail file she was using looked as if it was at least 6 years old and used on hundreds of other women. Nail dust from the previous customer was not cleaned up. Therefore, I was covered in someone else's nails. I will NEVER come back. The woman who did my nails was nice though...just clueless. read more

It pains me to write this but I feel it's important to know about the poor customer service I received at Elite Nails. I have been going there over a year for both pedicures and waxes. I found the service to be good, they get you in and out quickly which is what I prefer. I am a very good customer, always on time and I am generous with tipping. Last evening I had an appointment at 6 PM and I got stuck at work with a client until just after 6. I arrived at my car at 6:05 and immediately called the salon rather than to race over there and show up 15 minutes late. I thought if they cannot take me in, I would just reschedule. I called and profusely apologized to them, said that I am on my way and I should be there by 6:15 but if they cannot take me, I will reschedule for the next day if there is an opening. He said, "Well, I called our waxer in for you for this appointment, she's been here since 6 and she's not too happy'. Totally taken aback, I said... again I apologize for this but I am never late for an appointment and I took the time to call you, so I have no idea why you're giving me a hard time. Most people wouldn't bother to call and I have been left waiting for up to 20 minutes when I have arrived on time so I think you should be a little understanding that things happen. He never apologized for his rude behavior and simply said: Can you guarantee that you will be here by 6:15? I said that I can't, that nothing is guaranteed and I didn't want to commit to this guarantee and if I am later than 6:15, would they give me a further hard time? He said nothing and I said how about I just never come back there and find some place else to get my waxing and pedicures and he said: OK. Shockingly bad customer service. read more

I always come here for my pedicures. For $25 you cant beat that! They never rush and give a nice long massage. Clean and friendly staff. Sometimes I wait 10-15 but its worth it for their massages that always relax me. read more

I called ahead and was told that there was a very experienced technician available to do my fill, I asked specifically about the experience level because the person I wanted to see was not working, and I am particular about the way I like my nails done. I sat with said "experienced" technician and begun the service, noticing throughout, that she did not know what she was doing... I gave guidance expressing the way i want my nails to be done, and she continued doing it her way ignoring my requests... By the time she was ready to apply shellac, i looked my nails over and was horrified - each nail was thick on one side and paper thin on the other, all uneven, ugly and even lifting near the cuticles. I asked the woman how long she had been working there and she literally told me that it was her FIRST DAY!!!!! Another technician, who I perceived to be a manager came over asking what was wrong because I was visibly upset. I told her I just wanted to get out of there, wasn't interested in having another mystery tech try to fix them just wanted OUT. She proceeded to charge me for the fill even though I was literally crying by then because it was such a bad experience... I left the technician a tip because she spent her time, but I requested she refund my credit card for the service and she refused... I immediately went to another salon and had them fixed, because I couldn't walk around with awful looking nails... BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND DISHONEST STAFF. read more
