I do not even know where to start, my experience was not what i expected. I decided to come with a friend, my mom owns a nail shop so i've never had anyone else do my nails, this was the first time. I assumed the the prices were going to be a little more expensive because it was in the highlands but this place is a rip off. She was so rough on my nails, just sniping the tips with scissors & filing so hard. My left hand is shorter than my right hand, the shape is crooked. She cut me on multiple fingers. The nails are just overall horrible. (it hasn't even been 2 days) I am vietnamese, they were literally talking about me and smiling in my face while doing my nails thinking that I couldn't understand them. I went on July 8 here to do my pedicure. I got acrylic with regular color. I was very please with the results. They look very natural and pretty. 4 days later they started to break right in the middle where my own nail ends. Nothing I did. They were brittle and kept in braking when I used my hands. I paid $35 plus $ 10 to repair 2. The same afternoon 2 more broke. So I am gonna removed then. read more

DO NOT COME HERE ! This place is DIRTY and the staff is RUDE. The staff reuses utensils which is very dangerous and dirty! I used to work at the company next door and I watched the ladies as they would take out the empty plastic bags from the dumpster and reuse them in the salon! those plastic bags were used for raw chicken for the restaurant!!!! They use the little "cheese grater" thing on your feet, this utensil is ILLEGAL in some states! Anytime I would go in to have my nails removed I always ask to have them soaked off because having them ripped off is terrible for your nails. Every single time the staff would argue with me and refused to soak them off because ripping them off was faster. Anytime I didn't like my nails (mostly horrible shape) I would always be polite and ask to fix it and instead of working with me to fix my nails she immediately got up and grabbed her manager who is also very rude! I've been here a couple of times now. The first time was a decent experience, but this recent time has turned me off completely. It was a Tuesday night, they weren't super busy but had a good amount of customers. My friend & I came in together, therefore we wanted to get our nails done together. The manicurist kept commenting on how short my nails are & I should have tips, after I had already refused multiple times...I already have long nail beds, for the last time, I don't want tips because they grow so fast (see picture). Then throughout the manicure, she kept asking if I liked the color every few minutes. I appreciate you caring if I like the color, but I chose it & I'm not new to SNS. She would say "You like color? It would look better, but your nails are too short, see I have tips on & mine, look good". I. Get. It. She shaped the SNS a little uneven & with the top coats, it created ridges on the side of some of my nails. I was almost finished with my SNS by the time they even acknowledged my friend. The manicurist that came up to her wanted her to move to a completely different seat. My friend asked if she could sit by me, & she rudely answered that she did not want to move her stuff. So sorry to inconvenience you to move things a few seats over. My friend politely said "okay, well I don't really need a manicure, my friend is almost done anyways." So she did an angry sigh & snatched her nail color away & said "fine". Nice customer service Elite. The manager guy was nearby, saw it happen, & didn't even intervene, or seem to care quite frankly. My go to spot- ask for Rose to get your feet right for summer. Its a large salon- so I worried about being pumped out assembly line style when I first started, but on the contrary I have never been rushed out unless I told them I was on a time limit. They have a large carousel of colors, and they carry three different brands of gel polish- I've never seen a salon with such a wide selection. They have a really good selection of pedicure options too- the sun kissed is my favorite. You get the soak, cuticle care, scrub up to the knees, mud mask, hot stone rub, lotion and polish with the deluxe pedi at $30 and it takes around 40 minutes. They also have more extensive ones with longer massage and paraffin dips included. Its turns into a mad house after 5 and on the weekends- try and come early or make an appointment. The guy that runs the front is hilarious- and he's the one that always answers the phone. read more

I'm so disappointed in the pedicure I received today. The man was in a hurry, buffed the top of my toes which hurt and rushed through all of it. I have nail polish on my toes and the massage was very short and painful. The other employees kept watching him but no one said anything. My daughter and friend started several minutes before me, we all got the same kind of pedicure, and i was finished before all of them. It is too much money to walk away with rough feet and soreness from a massage that was supposed to be relaxing. I'm having a tough time and went in for an escape for a few minutes and really wish I didn't. Will not be back unfortunately. read more

Pedicures ... One phrase sums it up: The good, the bad, and the ugly! My mom & I went in for pedicures on a Monday late morning and had no problems getting right in. While we were picking out our colors, one of the ladies went to go set up the bowls. When we went over there, my lady was on her phone, and hadn't even acknowledged that I was there. This continued as I soaked for a few minutes. We decided to get the deluxe pedicures, complete with scrub, moisturizing masque, hot towels and a hot stone massage. The pedicure was really nice, the hot stones were really relaxing and my toes turned out beautiful, and my heels smooth as can be! So, if I was basing this review on the pedicure alone, I would probably give it 4 or 5 stars. However, I have serious questions about this place's safety & sanitation practices. She was taking her tools out of this black box and putting them right back in after she used them on me - not into a separate area or anything. NOT sanitary! Also, there were several fish tanks, both were partially evaporated and FILTHY. When we went to go sit down and put our toes under the dryer we were closer to one of them and could see several DEAD fish in the disgusting tank. Take them down or take care of them! Nasty! Also, the decor doesn't make any sense! They have lots of manicure tables and lots of pedicure chairs, which is great. BUT they have a spa type wall, an area with a disco ball, an area with a vintage looking chandelier, ships on the wall, Elvis and Michael Jackson hanging out with every Texas flag on a balcony, the list goes on & on! Pick one theme & stick to it! And, let's not forget the flat screen hanging on the wall for all to see, but it's actually their security camera monitor (who wants to see your security cameras when they're getting a mani/pedi?!) Lastly, this was really irritating. The employees that weren't working were just hanging out right by us sitting in the pedicure chairs: eating their breakfast, using their phones, talking, SLEEPING, and various other activities. This level of unprofessionalism is something that I just can't stand, and would probably be enough to make me not want to go back again. Time to make a break room! read more

Location Looks nice & upscale.. The nail techs are friendly. I prefer to get my nails done by the guy Huy. He's very gentle. Came in 15 minutes to close one night, and was pleasantly served. They provide water or wine to help with the relaxing. I love how they color coordinate with their clothing or smocks-- very professional. This day that I went in, they were bringing in food to have a party after closing to celebrate the Chinese New Year and offered food and wine to all patrons. That was nice of them. I booked this place for an eyelash refill and a nail appointment, as well as a pedicure for my friend. Calling... the guy who answered told me he didn't know how to book an appointment so I had to call back. When I got there, I told the front desk lady that my friend was running behind and she was getting the pedicure only and I was getting the refill and a nail set. And she was like okay that's fine. The nail tech greets me and goes are you ready for the pedicure. I had to tell her I'm not getting the pedicure my friend is. She sits me in the manicure chair. My friend walks in and no one greets her so she comes to me and I was like hey this is my friend getting her pedicure. My nail tech gets someone else to help her and my friend had a much better experience. They worked with her on what she wanted and recommended a nail tech to book with. They had just opened so it was a bit disorganized. The nail tech didn't start on my eyelashes which I thought was weird but I was like okay maybe my nails won't take that long. She takes off the old tips like normal and begins my nail. I said I think wanted a French tip however I'm not sure about the harsh line maybe an ombré. She disappeared not sure where she went but came back with a towel so alright weird but maybe she had to use the restroom or something. Still unsure. But whatever. She begins working and then one of my nails was crooked and I was like I'm sorry ma'am but that's crooked can you fix it? And she was very argumentative and said it was fine. I was staring at it for a good minute and I said no ma'am it's crooked. And she said no that's how your nail is. I just lived the comedy special from Anjelah Johnson about the nail tech she had lol I told her I wasn't happy with the white (she hasn't begun the curing process or the pink yet) and she said you're going to have to get someone else to do your nails. I said I just don't like the color. It's nothing against your work. Can I just get the whole nail silver instead I just didn't like the color. She finally stopped huffing and puffing and finished. Then she goes sorry I can't do your eyelashes anymore because they are going to take too long and I have another appointment at 2pm.... (it's 1:15pm and my appointment was at noon and we didn't start until late) I said I don't live close and my appointment was for the eyelashes and nails I could have done later. She said well your nails took too long.... Okay well is there anyone else who can do my eyelashes and she said no only me and someone else. I asked if there was any appointments during the week I could come back and she said you'll have to call tomorrow. I was like I'm right here....... So I paid for just the nails... and I probably won't come back. Went to my friend because she got her pedicure done and added on a manicure. My friend was like umm aren't you getting your eyelashes done and I was like no my nails went over so she didn't want to do my eyelashes. Her nail tech was listening to our conversation and explained that was like a lot of people called in sick today and didn't come to work so we're understaffed. (Which is fine but why she didn't start on my eyelashes first idk). My friend finished her portion of the appointment and got the name of a nail tech who said she will do the gel ombré nails that she wanted on her next appointment. (Junne) We tried to schedule her appointment at the front and they said oh you need to call back tomorrow and schedule and we were like umm why not now we're already here. So yea 2 stars is generous but because my friend had a better experience just it all depends on who you're going to get in the salon and how much sass you're willing to deal with. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Just finished getting my dip nails here with a friend of mine and we will NOT be back. 1st and foremost cleanliness is the most important thing about a nail salon and this was by far the most dirty nail salon I've ever stepped foot in.. honestly we should have turned around and walked out but we decided to try it out anyways. The nail tech doing my friends nails hurt her many times and never apologized and on top of that did an absolutely TERRIBLE job. He left lines from the drill and pcut her many times. These are errors that he should have caught but didn't. My nail tech was rude and didn't really seem to care about what I wanted. My hands are literally two completely different shapes and not the color I wanted but I felt pressured to pick a color. Why you ask? Because they were out of every color I wanted and when I showed him the color I was looking for he said "I don't do pictures, every salon is different" I am so dissatisfied and disappointed that I didn't say anything while I was there but I wanted to share our experience to save anyone who is thinking about going. The problem I have with Elite is that they are crowded and noisy. I understand popular salons tend to get more foot traffic but there are ways to appease every customer including those who are accustomed to quieter, less crowded establishments. For one, turn down the music. It's like Elite wants to make their nail salon this party scene by playing loud (in my opinion for a nail salon it is loud) top 40/contemporary/106.1 Kiss FM music. Normally nail salons are playing soft jazz or classical music. Then, Elite doesn't even spread out their customers. They like to position you right next to another customer where you can hear every tidbit of their conversation. I dislike that! Lastly, it is a tad warm in that nail salon, not uncomfortably so, but warm enough where I become aware of the temperature. On to the more positive aspect of this review: 1) Clean bathroom 2) Great decor 3) Great spa packages that are thorough and include A LOT! (I personally love the aloe vera pedicure but it is on the pricey side $60) 4) Great leg/foot massages 5) The nail technicians do not talk you to death I only come if my Mom invites me or when my nail tech isn't working at the nail salon I usually frequent in Mansfield. read more

TLDR: don't waste your money. Eva nails is right down the way and even though their wait might be longer, it's worth it. I've tried and tried giving this place a chance to do well and I have yet to have a good outcome. I've gotten a full set, pedicures, gel and dip nail. I've tried different techs every single time. My nails consistently come out an incorrect color, shape, or they last less than a week. Today, my nail tech did a simple gel nail on my real nails. Nothing more than cleaning up my cuticles and a small amount of filing, then gel application. I was rushed around during my trip and not talked to. She struggled to finish my nails, reapplying a final coat and filing off edges over and over. When I paid and got to my home, I flip on my bathroom light and see the reason why my hands feel weird is that there is top coat and gel paint glued to the sides of my skin. 8/10 nails were over painted and as I clipped the excess off of my skin, it created edges that were easy to rip up. Not more than ten minutes later, half of my pinky gel nail is off and the rest soon follows. There are little specs of things on my nails, pained and sealed in but still rising, and almost none have a smooth and shiny finish as they are supposed to. Never again :/ read more

I usually come here because it's in a good and convenient location for me. Recently they started up-selling their powered "dip" which I tried and liked but over time it thinned out my nails terribly. I came in after one nail cracked and they fixed it for free, however. But the nails continued cracking so I discontinued the dip and then got acrylic with gel but the chemicals we use to clean with at my job discolored the gel. So now I have been getting regular powder with acrylic! Their prices are expensive but the place is large and has a lot of staff so there is rarely any wait time (college students- save 10% with your ID!) They have a large selection of pedicures to chose from and even nail polishes! They have two kid chairs and take very good care of my 3 year old daughter when I take her in to get her nails done too. read more

Yes so you must take off the polish or there's a 5.00 dollar charge added to your pedicure. I wish this was my only complaint. I had pain on my cuticles when I left due to every single finger being over picked so now I had cuts on all fingers . A week later I noticed the pain had not left a finger and had now changed color. I went to doctors who told me I got an infection. She saw I had all those cuts and did not put anything on them like my regular nail salon.
