    I have never had a bad meal at Elizabeth's Pizza and I have eaten at many locations over the last 31 years. I ordered the small, original Stromboli and it was delicious as always. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because my food was improperly secured. Now that there has been an uptick of Covid cases, I have been using Door Dash quite a bit. My Stromboli came in a take out box that WAS NOT taped and it wasn't put in a plastic bag for delivery. Greensboro has been in some sort of Covid protocol for almost 2 years now. Surely someone at this restaurant knows this and could have taken a couple of extra seconds to properly secure my food. I am highly disappointed with how my food arrived. I will not be using this location again. By not following simple Covid protocol you lost what would have been a very loyal customer.

    I missed having my go-to neighborhood take out pizza joint while they were closed for renovations. They are now reopen and I have to say the updates are nice. New tables, paint job, and menu screens can go a long way to spruce up the place. As I live close by, I tend to always take my pizza to go but the new look would make me consider dining in occasionally. They added some things to the menu but mostly still sticking with pizzas and subs. We got our usual large pizza with peppers and onions. They used a mixture of green and red peppers this time which was nice for color. The taste and size of their pizzas has not changed, which made me happy. I did notice the price went up but that is kind of the case everywhere right now. You pay the same extra topping price whether you getting vegetable or meat. Maybe should mix up my choices. But for us, the large pizza is plenty for two meals due to the large slices so $20 for good and convenient pizza totally worth it. Note they are closed on Sundays

    Friendly staff. Speedy service. Been eating the lunch special steak and cheese for many years. Best in town. Just the right amount of messy.

    I'm a big fan of their slices. Really tasty. The pepperoni and mushroom is my favorite slice in town.

The vibe here reminds me of "Cheers," where everyone knows your name. The restaurant is in a 1950s renovated service station and was transformed into a neighborhood bar. I like the large glass windows and copper ceiling tiles in the dining area. There is a bar next to the dining area, and some outdoor seating, too. They even have a parking lot in the front and another in the back of the restaurant. You seat yourself, and someone will bring you a menu. Since I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago, when all the other restaurants were closed around New Year's Eve except for Corner Slice and Fisher's Grill, I make a point of returning again and again, as I just love it here. It is usually my first stop in town, and I look forward to my large margherita pizza with balsamic glaze. I'm not sure why I look at the menu, as I always order the same thing. But I am still given time to look over the menu, just in case. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust that was so good I managed to eat all but two slices! I highly recommend adding the glaze; it really makes the flavors pop. A lot of the specialty pizzas are named after neighborhood streets. The Elm, Bessemer, Hendrix, Leftwich, Isabel, and Magnolia. The Park and Fishers Finest are named after the area. The neighborhood bar has 14 rotating beer taps. There is a large selection of appetizers, including wings, grilled cheese, chicken tenders and some dips. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, they have a good variety of salads and subs. Service is top-notch here, and the staff is so welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable, too. I like that they brought out a plate and silverware with the pizza tray.
