I really loved this coffee shop and honestly wish there were more places like it in Florida. Having moved from Los Angeles, where there is such an abundance of coffee shops, each with its own personality, great design, warm wood interiors, and that comfortable feeling that makes you want to stay and work for a few hours, I thought this place did a great job creating that same kind of atmosphere. The space is adorable, peaceful, and quiet, and it is a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done. I ordered a chai latte and it was delicious, exactly as I hoped it would be. My one suggestion would be to add a few more vegan food options. In Los Angeles and New York, it is pretty common to walk into a coffee shop and find simple vegan choices, and with so many people relocating to Florida from those cities, I think it would be a great addition here too. Even a few easy options like a quinoa and vegetable salad, hummus with pita or chips, or other light snacks without cheese or meat would be perfect for people who want to stay, work, and have something to eat. Other than that, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely come back. One last thing to be aware of: Google Maps currently says they are open until 9 PM, but the hours posted at the location say they close at 5 PM, so you may want to double check before heading over later in the day. read more

I have visited the Ella Café locations off Broward Blvd and in Cooper City many times, so I was genuinely excited to see a new location open near me. Unfortunately, my first visit left me disappointed. The service did not reflect the warm, welcoming experience I've had at their other cafés, and the coffee -- which I normally enjoy -- tasted unusually unpleasant, almost burnt. I'm not sure what went wrong, but it was noticeably off. Despite this experience, I plan to give this location another try. I've always appreciated Ella Café, and I'm hopeful that my next visit will better reflect the quality I've come to expect. read more

Going to bring 4 friends SUNDAY and give Ella a try. We will test prices, coffee quality, food, ambiance, wifi and caliber of clientele. We are a tough group. Join us- 9:30 Sunday. FOG Supplemental: no brewed coffee. Americano $6 which was reasonable for larger coffee in glass mug. Seating hard on our butts. Almost no place for small group. The avacado toast was tasty - $14. Took long time to arrive. Chocolate muffin ($6) was large and loaded with chocolate chips. We chose to not have it warmed. Obviously no refills on the coffee - need to purchase another. While a sign indicates WiFi, the smudged password was useless. Two pleasant but clearly untrained young women taking orders. The opinion of our group of Five was unanimous. Nothing here for our group. We wish owners well - unless franchisor will allow brewed dark roast and refills we won't be back. read more

Checked out this new coffee spot in the plaza where I work. The space is super clean and modern. You can tell they put effort into the atmosphere. Definitely one of those places you could chill, work, or catch up with someone. Coffee-wise, they nailed it. Smooth, not bitter, and you can actually taste the quality. Prices are pretty standard for a newer spot, nothing crazy. Service was solid too--friendly staff. Tried a blueberry zucchini muffin. Super moist without being heavy, and the blueberries add just the right amount of sweetness. You don't really taste the zucchini, but it gives the muffin a nice soft texture. Feels a little healthier than your typical muffin, but still hits that sweet craving. I'd definitely grab it again. They do have other muffins and pastries also if you fresh salads and sandwiches that I can't wait to try. Overall, it's the kind of place you go once and already plan on coming back. Had to try the internet-famous coffee shop! The inside is absolutely adorable. There are cozy couches, what looked like games to play, and my favorite feature--a kids' table with toys. As a mom, little touches like that make the entire experience so much better. As for the coffee, I wasn't a fan of the cappuccino. It was quite bitter and needed a lot of sugar. From what I saw other people ordering, the flavored lattes and specialty drinks seem to be the way to go if you enjoy sweeter coffee. I'm more of a plain coffee kind of gal, so a cappuccino or latte is usually my go-to. On my way out, I ordered an iced coffee, and that was really good. The food was delicious and looked just as good as it tasted--very Instagram-worthy. Overall, this seems like the perfect place to work remotely or meet up with other moms during the week. This is just what we needed in the area! A beautiful and cozy spot to enjoy well-made crafted coffee. I got an iced chai latte and it was absolutely delicious. Served to me in a glass cup with just the amount of ice and a sprinkling of cinnamon! This was the one of the most delicious chai lattes I've ever had in my life. I went there yesterday morning and was disappointed to find the coffee machine wasn't working at all. I had to order an iced matcha latte instead, and it was just okay--not my favorite. It was a long drive, so for me, it wasn't worth it. I might come back and give them another chance, though. I gave it a 3 star because at least they had a drink for me. Long time fan of Ella Cafe locations in Broward County, so I was excited for this location to open much closer to my home! The staff were attentive and welcoming. There was an adorable kids-corner to keep little ones engaged while parents actually enjoyed a hot cup of coffee. We ordered a rosemary caramel latte and iced matcha. New place , beautiful decor. Ordered one small coffe and a Latte. Was far more more expensive than Starbucks. My companion noticed the latte was a bit dark and asked for a bit more half and half. We were charged another $1.50 for a "squirt". This was not disclosed until the receipt was printed out. Believe that the place has misjudged its potential clientele. I went to Ella's for their grand opening and it was thoughtfully curated! Jazz music playing, free coffee for the first 100 guests and a free Ella mug for the first 50 guests. I ordered the Cinnamon bun Banana latte, it was delicious. I also order their matcha latte with Oatmilk, it was perfectly done. I had their devils food cupcake and the omelette baguette. All highly recommended. They had flower arrangements for attendees, and raffles. Overall a great experience. The baristas did an amazing job with the high crowd volume. My friend has picked up drinks from there a few times for us to try and I went into Ella's today to pick up an order. The café is beautiful and spacious inside. The twisted chocolate sticks is a must try, its like a chocolate croissant but a warm soft center. I tried their Cuban coffee once, it was ok to be honest but I'm from Miami so I am super picky. The matcha however is on point. I'm addicted! The vanilla is my favorite but my friends also swear by the sticky banana and blueberry pie flavors. I've been going to Ella for years. All of the Broward locations are amazing! The staff is kind, answered your questions and treats you like a human. This location could not be more opposite. The girls are rude, the environment is unwelcoming, and they seem bothered when you try to order. Maybe bring staff from other locations to show them how to treat people. read more

Sorry to say but I wasn't impressed, I wanted to love it. It is very nice inside, styled nicely and large. I found it confusing as I walked in and there were people standing around in line, but there were servers standing to the side, not doing anything. I didn't know if it was for table service or if you ordered and then took your items to a table. Also, there were lots of children running around and lots of people seemingly working, but it was hard to tell who was in charge. Also, it was really, really loud in there. The music was blasting. When I asked the counter girl what the protocol was, she kind of looked at me like I was crazy. I ordered a cappuccino and an omelette sandwich to go. I got the coffee within I'd say five minutes, but the sandwich was taking a long time. I'd say at least 10 to 15 minutes. When someone called my name I grabbed the bag and left. I didn't look in the bag, but when I got home, there were two boxes in there with two completely different items than what I ordered. I only ordered one item the cost of that one item that I ordered was pretty high. I left paying $25 for what I thought was an omelette sandwich and a cappuccino. The coffee wasn't that great it didn't really have a strong espresso flavor and I don't know what the omelette sandwich tasted like because I didn't get it. I don't eat bacon and I received a BLT and I also got some other pesto sandwich that I ate a bite of and it wasn't good (to me). Sadly my first experience with this new café wasn't the best. I will most likely try it again and give it another chance. The prices give me some reservation. read more

I think this place is nice and, eventually they will succeed. The personnel are pleasant, but not really up on customer service common sense. We ordered a greek salad and I said we are going to split it. My wife ordered an iced tea. I asked for some bread with the salad. They brought the salad, but no extra plate. I had to go back up to the counterand ask for a plate. The bread was a 4 inch piece of a baguette and they charged $5 for it. We looked at it(already buttered), and I took it back to the counter and asked is this chunk of bread really $5? Yes, they said. It's the same size we use for a sandwich. I said, "please take it back and refund me $5". They gave me $5, and kept the bread. If you are starting an new business, you might say," sorry for the misunderstanding, enjoy the bread on us". THAT attitude is what makes a potential customer return. But, what are you going to do with the piece of buttered bread? Anyway, it's the little things that people remember. read more
