As soon as I stepped in the office I felt comfortable. It was more inviting than my primary care M.D. with free WiFi to boot! The receptionist was friendly, upbeat, and very accommodating considering I have not been to a dentist in quite a bit of time. I was seen quickly and the hygienist was extremely personable. She knew I was anxious and explained each step and made great conversation to ease my fears. At no point did I feel uncomfortable and Dr. Raimondi even personally visited me to review my experience as well as explain a few things regarding my x-rays. I am now a convert and will be visiting the dentist every 6 months for a cleaning! I highly recommend Dr. Raimondi!

The "deep cleaning" took 10 minutes and I had to remind him to finish the upper left quadrant. I get two free cleanings a year but that's not good enough for Wen - he said I needed a deep cleaning. He also showed me special toothpaste for my "bleeding" gums. My gums were not bleeding at all. I had to file a complaint with Cigna and dispute the charges on my credit card. I was charged $97.60 for a cleaning that should have cost nothing. What deep cleaning takes 10 minutes? He doesn't care about your teeth. HE ONLY WORRIES ABOUT MONEY I remember one ugly episode where he started work on a young man and then the office got into a loud phone conversation with the kid's father about paying for the procedure. It was the most ridiculous thing I ever witnessed in a dental office. I also remember several patients questioning costs after a procedure was done. STAY AWAY.

She has a fabulous staff, my appointments always begin on time and takes every insurance imaginable and is really familiar with what is included in your plan before you get there. The office is right between CPW and Columbus on 86th Street. She is super thorough, does the cleaning and X-Rays herself and rarely lets the hygienist get involved. Very hands on and I feel that she actually cares about my canines :) Whenever you leave, she makes sure to stock you up on all the goodies--toothpaste, toothbrush and of course, the floss. Highly recommend her and she works occasionally on Saturdays as well, so if you can't break away from work, she is available. Now excuse me, I have to go admire my pearly whites...

Never behind schedule, appointments are fairly easy to schedule and the location is great. I have had a few things done to my teeth and she has NEVER recommended procedures that are costly or unnecessary. For example: I had a chipped tooth, and I was given three options on handling the crack. This is RARE in the Manhattan dental scene- usually they try to bill you up as much as possible. She even had the receptionist check my insurance prior to taking the full set of xrays as she did not want them to bill me the additional $170 if not covered- very considerate! The only negative: the office and equipment is a bit dated. I would, however trade this in for an honest dentist in a heartbeat.

While gum tunneling is considered "minimally invasive," I don't think it should ever be taken lightly when it comes to WHO performs it. This is one of those procedures where experience, precision, and artistry matter tremendously, and this woman IS a surgical artist. I was pretty nervous the week leading up to surgery, having built this procedure up in my head as a huge and painful event. Instead, the entire experience felt like relaxing girl talk while the Queen of Dentistry worked her magic. Before I knew it, I was done. The craziest part? I walked out smiling, feeling amazing, and you genuinely couldn't even tell I had just undergone periodontal surgery. Yes...really. The recovery pain was surprisingly minimal considering what I had done. The realization of no longer having gums that felt like frickin' tissue paper and finally correcting my bizarre gingival defect has been eye-opening. You don't realize what your mouth has been missing until it's finally healthy again! The difference has TRULY been life-changing and I feel like my mommy makeover has been completed with exceptional results. My only complaint? The stitches weren't available in neon pink or glitter (tee hee, just kidding!)
