So we followed some folks and landed at the inlet that led us to Karma. The ambiance was amazing. Fit our aesthetic preference perfectly - clean, outside seating that's covered, and a nice Afro house playlist that's uptempo. The sushi roll was fantastic. My beautiful date ate most of it. I said dang! Can I have some? The beer battered fish was fresh and not heavy. This is why I love island food. None of the processed seafood, mostly fresh. I appreciate that. The fries slapped too. The chicken tacos were also very good. No complaints, no edits with the food. The drinks? MAN, the spritzes were my choices. Loved them. Made with love and was super refreshing as a cucumber ginger type of drink at midday. The perfect hybrid between wellness and litness This will be our go-to lunch spot when we're back in St John. As always, the beautiful company made this dining experience even better ‍

If it was in the state, I probably would give it four stars but here to me it's a five. This island needs a good sushi restaurant. Everything we ordered was as good or better than what we expected This may be the most beautiful restaurant in St. John, With the beautiful view, I strongly suggest you come here at lunch or at dinner before it gets dark. It is just too beautiful, not to enjoy such a view I read other reviews before I came here. Almost everybody said everything was great, but the service was slow. Possibly the Restaurant was just starting to manage it properly but when we were there, I have nothing to complain about the service. I was very happy and I could come here weekly. Assuming I can afford it. It cost a lot. after tip for the two of us, it was over $500. I talked to the people at the table next-door because they were having meat. One was having a ribeye. I believe the other was having lamb chops. They both were very happy with what they got. That's great to know, because let's face it not everybody likes seafood. Many people who order a California roll at restaurants are not getting top Quality Crab. The crab in my California roll here was perfect. obviously other people appreciate this restaurant too, because it was filled. i'm thrilled I came to karma and I'm looking forward to be coming here regularly from this point on oh yeah, almost forgot because I'm not a big dessert lover. My wife ordered hot donuts with ice cream and whipped cream . We loved it, maybe I have to rethink about not caring about dessert. Bon appétit

After getting in the warm clear somewhat wavy water we got thirsty and decided to try their local beer, Carib lager and the Limi da' coconut cocktail which has a blend of lime juice, coconut rum and a hint of citrus. It was delicious and refreshing. Fyi- they only accept cash unless you buy $15+ worth of f&b. Overall it was a nice day at the beach with refreshing drinks. The local staffs were somewhat friendly and helpful when asked.

We came in for dinner and had the whole snapper. It was delicious. It does have a lot of bones to pick out, which our server warned us about, but worth it for me. Next time, though, might try the grouper, which is a fillet without the bones. Sides of Potatoes and veggies were great. We had it with a Caesar salad, which was fresh and delicious. And we brought home a Caesar salad with chicken back for our daughter, who loved it. It was a Thursday night, and Myett's had a really great steel drum band musician who also sang, and had a beautiful voice. kind of modern classic songs. . Very cool. Great location and view. Absolutely recommend.

This is a very touristy spot on the main road. The menu is bar food and a variety of entrees that are higher quality. They're known for the painkillers where you pick how much pain you are in to determine the amount of alcohol. The calamari was average but the fried jalapeños were good. The coconut shrimp were very good and I picked the vegetables and rice as my side. Overall, it was a pretty good dish and a large portion. The staff is friendly and the food arrived in a timely matter. They also have a large gift shop in the back. FYI: the address isn't right on Yelp for this. It's right across from the ferry port.

The name is a slang for a British Navy officer known as a "Purser". One of the Pusser's daily tasks was to supply rum (a special Admiralty blend or "tot") to the sailors aboard the ship. The original recipe was somehow passed to the founder (Charles Tobias) in 1979. It still remains to be the closest to the original Naval recipe to date. Another fun fact is that this rum is actually a product of Guyana. Port Mourant double wooden pot stills are used to distill it. Most people will say that rum is rum. But hey, I can only tell you that there was definitely something special in that famous Pusser's Pain Killer. My husband even said it was the best rum drink he has ever had. Take that for what it's worth because we really don't drink that much. Ha! Jem was our bartender, and she was absolutely fantastic! So upbeat, warm, and friendly. She's everything that you'd want in a bartender. She explained the Pusser's Pain Killer numbering system. I was sold on the well-balanced No. 3. My husband went with the No. 4. I've had Pain Killers numerous times in my life. This was the best EVER! I don't know if it was the rum or the fresh grated nutmeg. Maybe it was the cream of coconut. I don't know, but I would have had a second one had we not had to walk back to the ship. If that's not enough to tempt you, then you must try their Conch Fritters. It has so much conch in it. More than any I've ever had. They are delicious! The firecracker dipping sauce made it even more special. The Bang! Bang! Gulf Shrimp were also pretty awesome. The batter was so much lighter than it looks in pictures. All in all, a great food and drink experience. We liked it so much that we decided to buy a couple of t-shirts in their branded clothing store. All 100% cotton! So comfy! We can't wait to return. We'll be back again in December if all goes well. It's such a great find within walking distance from the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier.
