I have been to Jost Van Dyke many times and I have always wanted to try Foxy's! What a fun place. Great place to hang out with friends on a warm Caribbean afternoon or evening. The pain killers were great. The jerk chicken and fries were really good! It's famous for their Friday night bbq and New Year's Eve party! It is a great place. I tip my hat to Foxy and his staff. Will be back! FYI... make sure you make it back to your boat!

Look up, it's everyone's stuff from years of traveling through

What can I say, our ship stopped here so we had to "check" it out. Looks like many have left a piece of this or a piece of that behind...... Signed Money, T-shirt's, license plates and sports memorabilia. Foxy's is known for the pain killers that serve (drink). Rum & nutmeg & ??? I think they were pretty good On to the next, maybe "Soggy Dollar"

Quintessential bar in BVI. Must see harbor town on Jost Van Dyke - stroll along the beach and stop in at one of the other local bars as well. Would be great for a mid-day drink and appetizers. Probably better places for dinner. "Catch of the Day" - most likely not caught that day off "Foxy's boat." Eddy the taxi driver is 5-star and takes great photos. Ask for him at the bar, if you need a ride to another harbor.

Rudest staff ever encountered. Food was barely adequate and not worth the price or big bites.

Overpriced and underwhelming. I am a return customer but so disappointed this time around. The surcharge is ridiculous.

This place was the best! We took a sailboat from St. John island to Foxys and the view and Bushwackers will be remembered forever!

Stopped in twice while staying on island last time. Once for a drink, and once for the BBQ evening. Never disappointing!

Everything is so fresh and packed with flavor, that you really can't go wrong with anything in the menu. The vegetable paella was delicious, the two tridatos we tried were fresh and bright with the different sauces on top, and the key lime pie was absolutely amazing. It is definitely the vacationers favorite spot, but I wouldn't say it's too touristy or anything. It gets a lot of attention because it's good and a nice place to eat dinner with your family on vacation. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. The host was kind enough to try to squeeze us in anywhere he could so for that we are very grateful. The food took awhile to come out, but that's probably just island time stuff, and besides the place was PACKED. But our appetizers and desserts came out really quickly. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend giving it a try if possible! There is a good mix of seafood and "land breezes" on the menu, plus a couple vegetarian plates if needed. Perfect for cocktail and mocktails as well!

Surely this place had to be amazing with that long of a line and very limited reservations. Ok so there was good and bad, hence the 3 stars. The good, great ambience, open air with a good view. Adding to that, the food was stellar. Super fresh, great flavors and portions were good. Would definitely come back for the food. The bad... service, or lack there of. We were a party of 4 but must have been invisible. We got waters quickly but didn't order anything else. Not sure if that was a surprise to the server but we don't drink. It was all downhill from there. Took forever for us to order an appetizer and while it came out quickly, once again, it took forever to order our dinner. Food came out and was delicious. The server came by once to make sure we were ok but that was it until the bill came. He disappeared from serving us only to bow down to the table across from us. That table ordered lots of drinks and lobster so apparently they get preferential treatment and we get nothing. End of the day, while the service sucked, food was good. Might or might not go back.

You can see the boats and island lights at night. They also played great Latin music, of all kinds. The service was amazing. We had a young guy who was a local. He loved living on the island and shared some facts. My husband and I enjoyed the muscles to start. They had a very nice lemon white wine sauce and the serving was just enough. We were left wanting more to be honest, it was very good! Next we had the paella. I liked this paella, I did, BUT, it was not flavored as an authentic Spanish paella. I was disappointed about that, but I still enjoyed the dish. It was a bit spicy, more like scratchy lol, but had lots of seafood and the rice was cooked perfectly (imo). My husband finished with a unique vanilla azafran dessert. I guess they used the azafran in the sorbet and not the paella . I did not like this ice cream. It tasted like soap to me lol. My husband really enjoyed it. Overall this was a great choice for date night and we didn't feel like we were caught in a tourist trap, so win win for us!

It was a bit hard to find as it is located down a very narrow alley, not on a Main Street, but we eventually found it. We ate at this restaurant for lunch on a weekday. A local told us the restaurant has been in business for 50 years so obviously it is doing something right. Immediately upon entering the vibe was New Orleans. The walls are stone and look like they date from the 1600s when the Dutch founded the city. It was a step back in history. It's very comfortable feel. We started with a mango colada (me) and papaya colada (wife) and both were sweet and tasted great on a humid day. The menu has Caribbean dishes but at the end the wife did not order the Oxtail and I did not order the jerk chicken. I was a bit afraid that it would be too hot. She went with a stuffed avocado with tuna fish and I opted for a fried grouper filet. She liked her stuffed avocado very much and it was a very full salad of vegetables. My fish was perfectly fried and the fish was both tender and moist. It came with rice with beans as one side and cabbage with carrots as a second side. Both side dishes were delicious. I was stuffed after lunch. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. If we have time, I would like to return and try their jerk chicken.
