Glass of wine after long day.

Elmos is a great quaint bar and grille. They have some of the best wings in Buffalo and I will tell people who havent been to Buffalo GO HERE for wings!! They are good for prices and they are very consistent with food. I prefer the double dip or honey mustard and Cajun wings. But they are all amazing. The staff is super friendly as well. Be prepared as they are always busy. But totally worth the wait. Go here. U wont be disappointed.

The wings were insane!! I come from California and I still think about these wings often. Definitely gets insanely busy especially when the bills are playing in town. The service was great they moved as fast as they could. It was a busy bar vibe so loud for sure but great.

Little restaurant off the beaten path in bar type atmosphere. Ordered a large loaded nacho that was enormous and could feed multiple people. Cajun honey mustard and hot wings were delicious and very flavorful! Waitress was decent but as she got busier she definitely forgot about our table.

ugh .. ok, it's Wednesday night and almost 10pm. There are very few options for wings or pizza but my brother has just flown in and I have heard good things about Elmo's so one star for serving "food" until 11 midweek. Menu pricing isn't bad and we were hopeful with the beer and wing special. Ok maybe it took the special and serving food until 11 to earn one of these stars. It's a dark dining area on a dark night ... Sabres jerseys on the wall leading us to talk hockey. The service was slow and non-attentive. When the server finally arrived she refused to even look at us ... I did not do a breath analysis but if you have ever had one standing two feet in front of you and rolling their eyes looking anywhere but in your direction you know how unappreciated we felt. It was clear she was dreaming because a big platter of French fries was plopped in front of us, which we did not order. She said "go ahead and eat them," which turned out to being the only good food on the table but we definitely didn't want fries (we sampled a few each). The frequently highly touted Elmo's wings were DRY and really pretty awful. The hot wings didn't seem that much different from the mild wings and they were just piled together. What made it worse was ... the wings were piled on top of the blue cheese containers and the carrots/celery. That meant we had to dig through the wings to get the dipping sauce proving whoever was in the kitchen had the same attitude as our waitress (Anyone in the food service industry concerned with their customers would have arranged wings, dips, and celery/carrots in a visual appealing manner not requiring digging in with fingers to find everything.). We all have different criteria in declaring our favorite wing locations but fresh wings, unique good sauces, good presentation and excellent service matter! Elmo's failed in all categories but the price (if the wings had been good) was right, they served until 11, and the French fries we didn't order were pretty good so two stars (I am being generous) but if you are on the Wing trail ... skip these guys and go for any other option!

I fun dive spot that kept the kitchen open a few more minutes for us after a late flight into town. Service was kind and attentive, locals were welcoming, wings were fresh and hot. All in all a great way to start a Bills weekend!

Best wings in Buffalo from Cleveland and will stop here every-time, got medium and hot. Thought medium wasn't as hot as normal but can't complain it was delicious server was great and bar was very clean! Will comeback so soon!

This place was pretty good. I do wish the staff was more welcoming though... the lady just asked us "how many?" and to "take a seat wherever" The wings and mozzarella sticks made up for the service though :) Very nice and juicy wings and mozzarella sticks were nice and cheesy :)

Solid 3.5 for the buffalo wings! The flavor was pretty good. If you're looking for classic buffalo wing taste, go with "hot" when you order as there are different options you can choose from. We wish the wings were crunchy and some were slightly dry. I do appreciate how meaty they were! I hate with wings are so thin with hardly any substance. Not a problem with that here.

Cajun Honey Mustard and Hot BBQs

Still a top 3 wing in area. Ordered some Cajun Honey Mustards and Hot BBQs last night. The HBBQs were on point, the Cajun honey mustards were a step down from normal. It was a busy night so they could of been rushing them out. Lacked the sauciness I come to expect. Hot BBQ were a 10/10. Staff friendly as always.

Did we eat too much? Yes! Yes, we did, and it was so good, too! My husband ordered the small piggy burger, and the fries with cheese and bacon. The thick cut strips of bacon over the cheese were outstanding, and the bacon cheeseburger was excellent. The lettuce was crisp and the tomato slice was ripe. We also ordered two classic burgers and two orders of regular fries (we have a teenager at home); I loved the dill pickles in that burger! The burger was juicy and flavorful! It took about 25 minutes for the order to be ready, but we were the first customers, and everything is cooked to order. Where does the bar's name come from? The owner has two daughters: One is nicknamed, "Shalooby", and the other, "Loofer". 6/27/26 was the first day they were serving lemonade! My husband had a pilsner he adored. Lots of people around us were coming outside with flights of beer in every shade of the brewery rainbow. There's no mistaking a blueberry ale! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the backyard: There's a courtesy water bowl for the beasties. There's a single unisex bathroom for the entire bar and patio. At peak times, there may be a line. Parking on the street. There's an adjacent Farmer's Market with additional parking (in the evenings only).

I arrived around 6:30pm on a Wednesday, parking in the public parking lot next to the taproom. There's also street parking available but on a Wednesday, there were plenty of free spots in the public parking lot. As I walked over, I could hear live music and when I arrived, I could either walk into the taproom or walk around to the back and see the band playing. In the back, it's a large area with a good-size patio filled with tables and seats, as well as Mister Sizzle's food trailer, serving up smash burgers and fries. After scoping the back, I walked inside - I would describe it as cozy with a bar in the corner with 12 taps, all Shalooby Loofer brews, multiple tables and chairs, a few TVs behind the bar playing sports without sound, and classic rock playing on speakers throughout the taproom. It's small on the inside and when you combine a crowd with the music playing outside and over the speakers, it can be a little difficult to hold a conversation. The women working the bar were friendly, personable, and were quick to get a beer in my hand when I walked up. Looking at their draught/tap list, I was impressed with the breadth and variety of brews that Shalooby Loofer makes! I decided to go with an easy sipper, their "Presto Pilsner" pilsner. It was a pleasant, light beer! I also saw they had a list of wine and cocktails to select from and offered pop (soda) for those who weren't looking for anything alcoholic to go with their Mister Sizzle's meal. Overall, I had a good experience at Shalooby Loofer! It feels like a brewery/taproom that's been in Clarence for many years with a nice variety of beer. Their pilsner was good, refreshing. I'm in no rush to get back here, but, if I lived closer, I wouldn't have any problem coming back with friends and family from out of town.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint.
