What an interesting place. Elorea is both a perfume shop and a cafe, located on the third floor of an ornate building on 6th St, across from Chapman Plaza. We took the stairs but there should be elevator access around the corner. The store is a large, open, minimalistic space with black and white tones. Definitely very aesthetic. There's also an outdoor patio with a few tables/chairs and some shade with good views of LA. We parked in a lot several blocks away but you can get lucky with street parking too. Staff is friendly and attentive, explaining the store concept, the scents, and the different products. I was really drawn to Heaven and Hazy Blue but ultimately did not end up buying because I should probably get through the ones I have at home. We did end up getting cafe drinks and heading to the patio. I got the matcha (paired with the Heaven scent) and thought it was pretty good. It was the perfect sweetness for me, which probably means it'll be a bit too sweet for many others. Pricing is about what you'd expect around the area. Overall, unique concept and a cool spot to spend an hour or two. I won't be regularly returning for the cafe portion but if you're into fragrances, I'd recommend coming to check it out at least once. It reminds me of To Summer in Shanghai.
Since I am a huge collector of perfume and I love drinks, This place was meant for me. (Also, I am a rooftop girl, and this place has a gorgeous one) Slight bummer they do NOT take reservations and they do not even have a phone number. I had to email them about booking for a birthday. They got back to me very fast, though. So bonus points for that. They only take walk ins and said it gets very crowded on the weekends. So come early They have this online giving out a parking tip -Parking Tip. I parked in the H mart parking conveniently located across the street. The parking entrance is on Mariposa. And you can get it validated at H mart if you make a purchase. We had to type in our license plate number Or if you get lucky there is street parking right outside. You have to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor for Elorea This was an incredible experience. It was a sip and smell Ashley, was showing us around the perfume. They have 16 different ones and they are nicely displayed. The whole place was clean and they had someone wiping down the perfume display constantly (The perfume is unisex) Everyone here was extremely friendly. I loved the look of the place. It was upscale yet minimal. The only downside is, I wish they did serve cocktails. It is regular drinks / coffee only. Our group ordered a bunch!!! (My favorite was GIT. It had lychee and aloe in it) and it matched their GIT perfume scent (without it tasting like perfume) -Git -gentle showers -hazy blue -silk bouquet -cloud daze -earth -heaven -Jang -Bae frais At the end, I caved in and bought 3 of their perfume. There was a deal going on and I got one hand cream and two travel size ones for free. Ashley and Cortland helped me out with these. I came one day early, when I purchased the 3 bottles of perfume, Ashley informed me the next day they were having a bottle engraver come in (free when you buy a bottle) she said they could of kept my purchases and then shipped them to me in the mail. But, I was greedy and wanted to take them home vs waiting. I do regret this lol. I can't stress enough how much I loved this concept and how I have never been to anything like this before. This was such a cool get together with friends. (So glad I had a bunch of my favorite people with me) 5 stars for service 5 stars for ambience (it was giving New York vibes) 5 stars for the perfume 5 stars for the whole smell and taste concept Only downside? The parking can be tricky. You can also sign up for emails and order their perfume online. (It's way better getting it in person though)
I was with two friends who were visiting from out of town and wanted something that felt uniquely LA, but not touristy. Well how's a Korean perfumery with a cafe attached to it (and an ice cream pop up the day we showed up lol). We didn't try any of the drinks, but spent a solid hour trying scents, talking to the staff, and eventually buying something hahaha. We opted to get ice cream from the pop up they had outside and sat on the outdoor patio. I wish they had a bigger awning to accommodate the seating they had outside, but it was only partially covered. The price of the perfumes felt reasonable as an independent fragrance brand and the cafe pricing wasn't too bad either (I think their mocktails were slightly cheaper than a bar and the coffee was about the same). Ambiance was great and it was a nice way to kill some time while in ktown.
New concept of a fragrance and coffee bar from Korea brand Elorea. Your senses are awaken by the inviting aroma from the coffee bar and the parfum samples. The layout gives a classy vibe, with black and white themed decor, it is elegantly designed. This a high-end, yet comfy and casual spot for a coffee date with friends or your significant other. In the center is a circular counter with fragrances displayed with accompanying Note cards describing the contents. Ashley was our Customer rep, she was professional and patiently explained the products, fragrances and lotions. All are paired with an coffee, tea or matcha-type drink (iced or hot) are available. It is not easy to describe the full essence and experience. I feel I ought to give a little more details. In our group of five, we ordered the following from the THE RESONANCE COLLECTION (in alpha order): - Bae Frais (Pear Cider) - hot tea, paired with a Light Fruity scent parfum. - Cloud Daze - Rice Creamsicle drink, paired with a Warm & Fuzzy feels parfum. - Gentle Shower - iced green tea paired with - a clean coastal scented parfum. - Silk Bouquet - iced drink paired with a Woody scent parfum. - Hazy Blue - iced drink - paired with a fresh Musk scent parfum. From the TIMELESS LEGACY COLLECTION (in alpha order): - Earth - hot coffee drink, paired with a Leathery, earthy tone parfum. - Git - iced with lychee, paired with a Woody, Pine scent parfum. Jang - iced Savory flavor paired with a Warm & Husky parfum. I was fascinated with the overall concept. The scents are made for both men and women. They are light and fresh to smell, not too flowery or overpowering. I am kicking myself now, for not diving in and buying a bottle of parfum. I guess that means I must return and take advantage of their monthly specials. Online ordering is available on their website. Seating areas: There are a few indoor seats, and an outdoor patio on the rooftop balcony with a view of Koreatown. Note 1: Entrance on 6th Street, take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Friendly, amazing, & overall lovely staff throughout the tea bar and parfums. This place is unique because all their specialty crafted drinks are based off their parfums! Which smells fresh and great on their own! I tried the gentle shower and once served they ask you to smell the parfum before tasting! A very nice and luxe experience here smelling the scents. Very friendly reps as they aren't pushy or uncomfortable. They are knowledgeable on the story and history of the scents which I find really cool! I def liked the drink more than the parfum but next time I would wanna try haenyo drink (: as I did like how that parfum smelled! Drinks were def special and unique I would def comeback for just that as they were delish!
What an incredible experience at ELOREA! From the moment we walked in, Earl made us feel so welcome. He immediately asked if it was our first visit (which it was) and took the time to walk us through every fragrance, explaining each scent without making us feel rushed. His knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made the experience so enjoyable. Once we narrowed down a few scents, Earl suggested we grab a drink, relax, and take our time before making a decision because, as he explained, many people end up changing their minds after enjoying the café. That was such thoughtful advice, and he was absolutely right to encourage us not to rush. The drinks, which are inspired by some of the perfumes, were amazing! I ordered the Jang, a coffee-based drink, and my husband had the GiT. Both were delicious, but the Jang was on another level. The coffee itself was fantastic, and the cream on top made it even better. Earl gave me a tip to drink about half of it first and then stir in the cream--and wow! It completely transformed the drink. It was so good that I ended up going back for a second Jang before we left! After relaxing, we went back to choose our fragrances, and Earl continued to be incredibly patient, friendly, and helpful. We even received a complimentary hand cream, which was such a nice touch. Overall, our first visit to ELOREA exceeded every expectation. The concept of pairing fragrances with specialty drinks is unique, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, and the customer service was outstanding. Earl and the entire staff were warm, kind, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. We'll definitely be back--and I'll absolutely be ordering another Jang! Highly recommend!
I came here on a whim after wanting to buy a new perfume. I briefly remember seeing Elorea in Seoul, but regret not checking it out. I'm glad I was able to visit the LA location during my visit! I ended up buying a 50ml bottle of the silk bouquet perfume, which was discounted at $112, I believe the original price was $130 or $140. It has a lovely light floral scent. My purchase also came with a free drink, which I opted for the cloud daze. My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy our drinks on the rooftop. We came during the weekday, so it was not as busy and was quite peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the baristas were super nice. The drinks are super tasty and I would come back to check out their other scents and drinks!
ELOREA is a different type of euphoria. It's a cool scent and sip magical trip for your nose and lip. Their perfumes are gender neutral and inspired by Korean heritage. The drinks are designed to complement the scents and I'm not going to go through all of them but I'll give you a quick example. One of their drinks that I ordered was called Earth which was a mocha latte that's actually smoked with a bit of Misugaru. Check out my video so you know where I'm coming from. We almost tried the whole menu except for the matcha but as for me I was good with all the different types of drinks and their flavors. A shout out to Ashley for walking us through their concept and her suggestions. The atmosphere is minimalistic but chic with a killer playlist that puts you in the mood. They have some seating inside and an alfresco patio area.
ive seen this experience on ig and immediately saved it. saving it for a special occasion. welp, the squad met up for tesee's birthday celebration. i arrived around 1115ish but got distracted so didnt get to the rooftop til about 1130am. which is a good time to visit as it wasnt busy. it def picked up when we left, which was close to 2pm. elorea is beautiful and has a classic vibe. loved the b&w and minimalist decor. love the concept of scent and sip. all the fragrances are gender neutral. each note has a story behind it. ashley led our fragrance experience and walked us through each scent and explained how they came up with each one. it was all really beautifully organized and easy to follow. my heart was fluttering. okay the drinks: we ordered: earth gentle shower hazy blue git jang bae frais cloud daze silk bouquet guess we ordered all except the matcha lol - heaven my favorite was the silk bouquet and git. i love sweet and refreshing drinks. love the rooftop seating. it was really comfy and inviting. elorea has location in NY , CA and ofc Seoul. parking: street or you can park across the street in the structure of hmart, they validate for two hrs , with a purchase ofc. and walk over.
This place is a really interesting Perfume/Drink place. It's kind of hidden since you take an elevator that you probably never take if you've came to this plaza before and it takes you up to the rooftop. There are stairs to come up here as well. The center of the building is perfume, different scents for you to smell and purchase. The people here are pretty nice and friendly. There is an interior piece and exterior section for sitting. The outside is just some seats with an umbrella and the inside is just normal seats. On a hot day, you want to be inside. They have a drink area on the east side of the building. The drinks are themed and they give you a card to smell. They told me to smell the card and then drink the drink. I have to say, these are the worst tasting drinks in the world lol. I could only manage taking a sip. For parking, you can park in the city center. If you spend 30 dollars at the Hmart your parking is validated. Overall, it's a nice place to visit. Drinks are nice looking but taste horrible.
I had pretty high expectations for this cafe because of what I saw on social media. The ambiance felt peaceful and very spacious from other photos. However, even before I was able to go to the cafe, I couldn't locate the parking lot or find any parking around. I believe I was looping around the street at least 10 times, but ended up finding a local paid parking lot by hmart. The ambiance was nice to be honest and the high ceiling caught my eye when I walked in. I walked up to the cashier and at the time of my visit, they seemed to only have specialty menu items, so I went with heaven and my sister got the gentle shower. The price seemed to be around 9-10 dollars which was a bit steep considering other options around. Heaven was interesting because the cold foam was dairy free, but I didn't feel that it really changed the flavor profile to affect the matcha. It was subtle and enjoyable. Gentle shower reminded me of mint mojito because of the perilla leaves. I had a pretty neutral experience within, however, the parking situation was quite difficult to navigate. The cafe is definitely more of a catch up with a friend rather than a study or work on a laptop with minimal seating options. Overall, I enjoyed the time being, but I am not sure if I will return because of the parking :( read more
I really wish I read these reviews about an elevator because I was huffing and puffing by the time I made it up lmao . Anyway, I didn't try any of the drinks but the perfumes all smelled really nice & unique. It seems like they're pretty popular though, the one I wanted (git) was out of stock for all sizes except the largest one. People there were nice, didn't encounter anyone unfriendly. A true hidden gem--Elorea Sip and Scent is pure magic. I honestly don't even have words to describe how transported I felt during my visit. From the moment I stepped into this rooftop sanctuary in Koreatown, I knew I was in for something special--but I was not prepared to be blown away. I tried the HEAVEN scent and drink pairing first--delicate, floral, light... it felt like sipping serenity. Then came FIRE--bold, smoky, daring--and again, the scent and beverage pairing was absolutely seamless. I was amazed at how they captured a feeling so completely in both fragrance and flavor. The experience is not just aesthetic--it's rooted in thoughtful Korean storytelling, history, and artistry. Huge shoutout to Cortland, who guided us through the scents and their cultural significance with such care. He even wore a crossbody bottle of fragrance like a wearable piece of art, which just added to the immersive vibe. You could tell he lives the brand and its mission. Ashley came by after he left and didn't miss a beat explaining the staircase and cultural references. Elorea isn't just a café or a perfume boutique--it's a multisensory journey. - Interior, patio: vibes. Located on the third floor of Chapman Plaza. This is such a unique and awesome location. There aren't many seats inside but a good amount on the rooftop patio. - Service: workers are nice! - Perfumes: very interesting scents ranging from floral to musky to fresh. My personal favorite was hazy blue. - Drinks: It's around $8-9 per drink. Very pretty drinks, but pretty average in terms of enjoyability/taste compared to other ktown cafes. Bathrooms are clean. everything about this is 10/10. staff are kind, attentive and welcoming. we started by smelling some perfume while we waited for the cafe line to die down. we ordered four drinks total (free drink with any purchase): blue haze 9/10 heaven 8/10 fire 8.5/10 earth 7/10 i wish serving sizes were bigger for how pricey the drinks are, but everything tasted yummy and the open bar + perfume notes to match the drink really elevated the experience. thank you again to all the staff!! read more

Came with my friends on a Sunday with intentions of buying a fragrance already so didn't need convincing lol. But yeah walked in and was greeted by Cortland and he was hella cool and made the whole experience simple and easy. Really appreciate that cause it could be a bit overwhelming when everything smelt good! But ended up getting inflorescence scent which smells amazing and a small git that he told me to layer with the other. 10/10 and the drinks were fire too read more

The inside of beautifully decorated and feels really elegant. Even their bathroom was curated to match the minimalistic black aesthetic. The drinks came free with a purchase but without one, they're around $9 each which is quite expensive. They also take a while to make and there isn't much indoor seating. The drinks were visually appealing but they were just okay. The matcha flavor was covered by the cream top but the blue soda was decent. read more

this interesting perfumery sits on the top floor of a complex and i didn't see an elevator, so be wary if you have accessibility needs. the interior is very cute with a central area for perfume sampling, a coffee bar to the left and rooftop seating. i ordered the oranged spiced chai latte and they handed me a perfume sample paired to go with the drink. i was recommended to kinda alternate between sipping the drink and smelling the perfume. and honestly after a bit of that i could understand why! while my latte was a whole 9 dollars i can earnestly say that it was one of the best chai lattes ive had in my life. there is a delicious citrus peel note and it is garnished with freshly grated nutmeg and a whole star anise. the nutty scent you get before you sip pairs very well with that perfume sample i was given. i didn't buy anything because i already have a hefty fragrance collection, but there is a lot of variety offered, including fresh to elemental, earthy-inspired scents. overall i do recommend! read more

absolutely love it here! employers were so kind, and Hannah was incredibly sweet while we were playing around with scents. she guided us to scents we thought we would enjoy, scents that would pair well with our current perfumes, and scents for the season. my friend and I would 100% come back even if it's just for the experience. the rooftop is gorgeous, especially when you watch the sunset. the interior is also to die for, I could stay inside for hours if possible. 1000% recommend coming here read more
I'm actually so shocked this place doesn't have as many reviews on yelp because it was packed! It's one of those hidden gems in ktown I guess - sorry if people were trying to gate keep but this business deserves to be discovered! The coffee is actually good and I love that there are unique scents inspired by Korea to browse as you're waiting for your drink to be crafted! Such a great concept and so well executed. Really cool concept! I always feel kinda awkward going into perfume stores, but having a coffee shop inside takes the pressure off. All the scents are really good, hazy blue is their most popular / signature scent. Their drinks are on the water side and their signature drinks are $9 which is quite pricey. I tried the heaven drink, which is a matcha w jasmine cream and it was just okay. I probably won't come back for the drinks read more

My bestfriend and I went to Elorea, the parking in koreatown sucks especially on the weekend. (You're lucky if you find a street parking. ) There's a building across the street where Hmart is at. Elorea is aesthetically beautiful! but the star of the place is their parfum. The collections are all great I want to purchase everything. The staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable with their products. They offer a free drink with a purchase of their item. The drinks are good. (I probably should've gotten their signature drink) -- I got a refreshing sparkling drink which is nice. They have a outside seating if you want to hangout and chill. The ambiance is very chic and trendy. Would recommend and absolutely will come back to buy another scent Lol. read more

Came here hoping to find a light, clean floral scent that wasn't too heavy or cloying. Ended up very satisfied with two new scents, a sweet potato latte, and overall pleasant experience. If you buy a full size bottle, you get a travel size for free! Also a drink with any purchase. So technically, I made money - so this was a justified splurge! read more

Perfume smells were okay, the most hyped / Tiktok famous Hazy Blue had a light smell. My favs were Inflorenscence and Git, which are more citrusy/fruity/floral. Drinks were kinda expensive (~$9 each) but still were pretty good! I lowkey didn't like the smoky incense smell from the Earth drink though..;-; read more

I had really good experience. The place's actually smaller than how people potray on social media, but thr outdoor view is lovely. I ordered the "Fire," which is similar with Chai latte with an extra shot of espresso; the drink tastes refreshing and aromatic thanks to the orange zest oil spray on top. I got the drink as a complimentary for buying a merchandise there. But definitely recommend this place for drink and experience. read more
