Beautiful restaurant! Porch is amazing in the summertime. The waiters are very attentive and knowledgeable. We got an order of the calamari... which ended up not being our favorite. That is definetly our own personal opinion. It is served with deep fried olives stuffed with blue cheese, we were unsure about the texture of that. There was also excess oil in the bottom of the plate, again just not our favorite, but it was been highly rated by others!!! We got an 8oz filet and a side of mac and cheese. The filet melted in your mouth delicious! The mac and cheese side was huge! We ended up taking most of it home! It was decadent!

This restaurant is always our first stop when we go to Vail to ski for a week. Usually we start with the wedge salad that we share with chunks of blue cheese and bacon. A classic. For mains we get the bone in New York strip and the filet. Always cooked to perfection and tasty. This year, for some reason they thought it was our anniversary and gave us a glass of champagne and piece of chocolate cake. When you are given the put, take it.

Everything you eat here will be phenomenal. We started with the oysters and wedge salad and devoured all of them. Also had the filet which we shared since we also ordered onion rings and omg they have some good onion rings. Service is amazing. They never let you go without. Very good place to take your date! Dimly lit and fancy inside. We like sitting at the bar if possible. Reservations required so go ahead and book in advance! The next time we came here we had the burgers and they were so good. Everything's good!

Whoops I did it again....love this spot! Stopped in on a Monday night ~ 7 and while the bar was full - we got a nice table in the back. Service was spectacular as was the food!! Love the warm sourdough bread they serve & my son said it was the BEST steak he ever had (8 oz filet) & the side of fries he got were embarrassing in the massive portion size) - he loves them. The Grand Hyatt had recommended the burger.. and while I felt funny ordering (I was eyeballing the salmon) it was DELICIOUS! Wow, so good and perfectly prepared. Also served with a very generous portion of fries...we could have split those alone. Forgot that I don't love the marg (the mix has a funny flavor) - but i ordered it! Great spot to sit and talk, very comfortable & I did I say exceptional service!! Wish I had room for the ding dong desert...next time...

I really feel like this is such a hidden gem and people overlook this place. I have been here 2 times and every time it is so amazing. Our server wasn't the best but we suspect she was new. The sommelier was great and suggested a bottle of wine that was so good and didn't break the bank. The #7 salad was so yummy as was my Elways salmon. My husband got a filet and lobster tail and the lobster tail was cooked to perfection! The crab fried rice is a unique thing to have on the menu as a side but omg, it so good! Our only real complaint is the dessert menu, we had the key lime pie last time and it was just okay, tasted frozen and this time we had the ding dong which lacked flavor. Granted the coconut cheesecake sounds amazing but my husband hates coconut so i haven't tried it, so there are some thing I think would be good but wish there was more of a variety. All in all, one of our best meals we had on our ski trip and we definitely will be back!

Nice ambience. Friendly service. Vail-appropriate pricing for a couple of 8-oz filets. The steak rub is 'not gluten friendly, not soy friendly, not nut friendly' but tasted delicious. Perfect touch of crunch on top of a perfect grilling. Great sautéed mushrooms and baked potato with everything. We enjoyed our quiet, low-key meal. Then key lime pie to top it off. Well done.

Went to dinner on Thursday the 19th and we had the most delightful meal and service. Our server named Lucia went above and beyond. She was the best! The steak was to die for, will definitely return!

Dinner reservations are available 30 days out on Open Table, and they go instantly. I heard them quote 2+ hours for walk-ins, so definitely plan ahead if you can! Cocktails: I've always loved their cocktails, so even if you don't have dinner here, you should at least check out the bar. I've never been disappointed in any drink I've gotten. Dinner: - Butternut baba ganoush: all the flavors of baba ganoush but with butternut squash, and the warm pita was great - Fire roasted tomato and chorizo soup: a bit on the thinner side, smoky, interesting - Buttermilk sea salt biscuit: rich, flaky, with extra butter, country ham, and red pepper jelly - Warm pimento cheese: I don't usually care for pimento, but their's is great with grilled bread. They also use this on their burger at lunch - Wood grilled octopus: nice wood fire flavor, great ham hock beans underneath, grilled avocado - Crispy brussels sprouts: interesting flavor with the grilled avocado sikil pak - Wood fired pork chop: tender, generously sized - Grilled cobia: wonderful warming pineapple coconut curry, charred pineapple, and fresnos for a kick - Seafood diavolo: very flavorful (my dad found it too salty), served over polenta Lunch items: - Fresh catch: Argentenian shrimp and polenta - like shrimp and grits, very flavorful - Grilled cheese and soup: always a good combo - Burger: we added the onion rings, which had a good kick to them They also had a really solid kids' menu, which I appreciate. Despite how busy they are, service is attentive, and the manager came by personally to check in, which was a nice touch. Food and drink pacing was also good despite it being packed. The restaurant is definitely number one at customer service and I loved how everyone worked together. Even though the restaurant was busy, we did not feel lost in the shuffle. It was clean and inviting. They offered an array of choices, so there would be something for everyone if you decide to dine here. The food was good, preparation and display were done carefully, but the taste was overall just ok. The appetizers we chose were Warm Pimento Cheese, which was mildly flavorful, but good, and Prime Beef Carne Apache, which had no flavor at all. The main courses we chose included a pork dish and a chicken dish. The chicken had great flavor, but was placed on a bed of potato wedges which were not all completely cooked through. We felt this took away from the overall dish. The accompanied sauce made with yogurt and poppyseed did not add any flavor to the dish. The pork dish had great flavor. The drinks accompanying the food were made well and tasty. The kids menu has an array of choices as well, and our choice of macaroni and cheese was a hit! We ended with a frozen snicker bar dessert that tasted exactly like a frozen snickers bar. Overall, we had a very nice evening and would definitely visit again.

As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.
