Nutella strawberry crepe Seemed like a strawberry preserve filling

This place has a wide variety of options on the menu. I got a Nutella strawberry crepe, which was enjoyable and crispy hashbrowns which were very crispy. Just how I like them. It was great service. I walked in and placed the order and it didn't take long. Seems like a very family, friendly ambience to grab a meal.

I saved this place on Instagram years ago and finally got the chance to try it while visiting Vegas. I know Ely's has multiple locations, but this one had the best reviews--so we went for it. I ordered the menudo and my friend got the waffle combo. We got our food to go, and even though the place was busy when we arrived, service was fast, friendly, and on point. Thankfully, there wasn't a line (even though I saw in the comments it can get packed), so we got lucky. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. The menudo was absolutely worth it--rich flavor, great portion, and exactly what I was hoping for. Coming from Sacramento, this spot definitely lived up to the hype. My friend really liked the waffle combo too; solid all around. If you're in Vegas and looking for a good breakfast spot, especially if you're craving menudo, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Ely's was suggested to us by some friends. This place is not fancy at all. It is a very comfortable down home sort of spot. I feel like this is a place that mostly locals know and not so much the tourist. They have Menudo on the weekends. They have almonds of all kinds. They have lots of different kinds of pancakes with all different amazing kinds of toppings. They also have steak and eggs. Really, you can't go wrong eating any of the entrées here. Everything looks so good. The servers were very polite. The restaurant was clean. They were very patient with our group as well as we were a slightly large one and had a lot of different orders being put in. It was a really nice pleasant breakfast there. And I love all the little breakfast decorations on the walls. Super cute.

Ely's on Trop had that fire menudo!! No hominy, and we would have LOVED some hominy in it BUT otherwise it was fire!! The cafe de Olla was on point too!! Great customer service!!

Located on Tropicana and Eastern right next to Aladdin supermarket you'll find this amazing little gem. We arrived about 8:05 AM were greeted promptly as a nice hometown ambience field to it. But the food speaks for itself the Chilaquiles were made to perfection with two eggs and Carne Asada and green sauce would definitely go back highly recommend and the waffle wasn't bad either lol

This food is made with love. We came here on our way home from Las Vegas and we sat there and talked about how much it reminded us of family gatherings. The service is beyond amazing. And the restaurant feels like home. The chef deserves a Michelin star and their own show on food network!!!! Beautiful food and beautiful place.

The staff is extremely nice there's so many options so this is a perfect place for family because there's something for everyone here with that being said because there's so many options they're not specialize in anything so their food is just average it's not bad but it's not the best. That is why I'm giving it three stars just because the food is not the best tasting. But the prices are really good considering the portions, I did like their Tamarindo drink and their milkshake however their lemonades are just lemon with syrup and it just takes very artificial. So I was not the biggest fan the day that we went it was super busy but we got in super fast the staff is truly amazing I would definitely come here again but it wouldn't be my first pick

Ambience was great Server was amazing on top of everything and gave us great recommendations Food was delish So many great options with amazing prices

Finally stopped by here for all the Social Media hype I've seen. This is a good place, lots of options on the menu, we'll have to go back to try more of the menu, since there are so many options. We ordered the Ely's Mega Plate, it came with bacon cheese fries, buffalo chicken tenders and a bacon cheeseburger. The fries were really good, the burger was cooked well, the tenders were a little vinegary, but all in all alot of food. The steak chilaquiles were good, but the chile verde sauce was a bit too much regarding the lemon taste and I like lemons, but just too much, the meal was good and again, lots of food, and then we ordered the menudo, the part I really liked was they ask you if you want hominy or not, I'm a hominy person, so we ordered the medium size, wish they had the option of a cup, but the menudo was delicious, definitely I'll order this again. So, all together, our takeaway was we will be back to try the rest of their menu and the menudo is a return for item :) Their pancakes and waffles all looked really good and as long as the food continues on the positive trajectory, we'll be back for their vast options!!

Our server was amazing. He was on top of everything and it felt like he res our minds. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and they were delicious. The best item was their Abuelitas French toast. The portion was great and it was very flavorful. I'd come back just for the french toast and cafe de olla

I love Elys. Doesn't matter which location we go to either the one here or the one in Green Valley both phenomenal and both offered the same things. When we came here, we decided to go to the location closer to my dad's so we came to this one. The server was really nice and joked around with us and was really just a good time. Overall his energy was really nice and that's what I like to see in someone in the service industry. He gets a five stars just for being him. The restaurant is small and quaint. It's not overly large or overly decorated. It's kind of like a home cozy feeling. I always get the Menudo here. It is my favorite thing. Honestly, the best Menudo that we probably have in Las Vegas aside from my dad's, but that's a Personal bias. My boyfriend got the Chilaquiles this time. He's a little more adventurous, but he says everything that he's tried on the menu is really good, but he loved the Chilaquiles. We will absolutely be back.

Stopped by Ely's for post Saturday night recovery fuel. It was 5 minutes away from our AirBnb. Oscar, our server and the cook, was great. We could tell he was handling things solo for the most part. We weren't in a hurry so the wait, which wasn't super long, didn't bother us. I had the asada chilaquiles bowl with red and green salsa while my friend had the Mexi-burrito with potatoes. After Oscar took our orders, the food arrived pretty quickly. The chilaquiles were sooo good! I was really happy with my choice and felt revitalized after my meal. Oscar was very thoughtful and put the cilantro and onions on the side because he realized I wasn't asked if I wanted cilantro and onions on the chilaquiles. (I did. The thought and care here is what got me. Top notch service. ) My friend said the burrito was very tasty and it was large enough to have leftovers. I tried the breakfast potatoes that came with the burrito and they were cooked perfectly! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. We both agreed Ely's is a solid choice for breakfast. If you're in a hurry, it may be better to call in your order and pick it up. But if you have the time to sit and relax, I highly recommend Ely's. Next time I visit I will try the menudo or pozole. I heard these were great also. I also enjoyed the music that was playing in the restaurant. Thanks again Oscar! See you next time!

    Chorizo Cheese Burger

Only one thing went bad during our experience but everything else was great that's why still gave 4 stars. First time trying this place. My brother raves about it. I ordered some blueberry French toast and a grilled cheese. My wife tried the chorizo burger and love the complementary chips and salsa they give in the beginning. Waitress was polite, fast, and helpful deciding what to get. Space was good size loved our booth. Comfy and table spacing was good. Also they have tvs on so can enjoy watching something while there. On sad thing my blueberries were bad. The compote on it tasted moldy. Wish it wasn't was wanting to eat them all instead I set the blueberries aside and just ate it with syrup.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.

I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
