!PLEASE READ! This is only a review on a particular hair stylist and how I was treated by her. I booked an appointment to have my hair cut, styled and colored. The hair stylist I went to goes by the name Samantha and shouldn't be working with customers- HERES WHY- When I arrived at the salon I had some questions about the coloring process, and Samantha proceeds to tell me that she wasn't going to color my hair anymore and that I basically needed to look up any questions I had about the process. I was told prior that the coloring process would take 2 hours and 30 min which is very unrealistic ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO THE SMALL AMOUNT OF HAIR I HAVE. I've worked In a salon before I would know how long it actually takes to color someone's hair- that's absolutely outrageous. Samantha told me that she would just cut and style my hair (SHE DIDNT) literally just snipped a few pieces and blow dried it If you plan to go to this hair salon don't let Samantha lay a hand on your hair this was literally the worst hair cutting experience I've had. Not to mention that she was being extremely passive aggressive... If you can't work with customers due to your agitation DONT it's that simple. I know a thing or two about customer service and this is definitely a good way to repel anyone that walks in. Overall I felt very nervous while she was cutting my hair and was very inconsiderate of my feelings- JUST DONT GET YOUR HAIR CUT BY HER-- That's all I have to say, I hope some people find this helpful read more

My friend Deia recently got a salon spot here and I was finally able to get an appointment to have her cut and color my hair. I knew she would do well because I had seen her cut lots of hair before but now she finally had an actual space to do it so I was really excited. The sign outfit the shop said it was under new management and inside it's very lovely. It looks very new and very nice, plus it's spacious. I got there right when they opened so there was no one else there yet. While I was waiting for my color to sit she took care of her other appointment that had arrived. Since I was bleaching and coloring and getting a cut, she finished the other customer while I waited. After she finished she washed my hair out again and finally started cutting it. I had been letting my hair grow out while I tried to decide what I wanted. I finally decided and brought a picture of what I sorta wanted but she still asked a few questions of what I wanted. After nearly 3 hours I had the haircut I wanted and it looked amazing! While she is my friend I still know that she's a fantastic cosmetologist and barber. PLEASE READ!! I would give this 0 stars if i could. Don't let SAMANTHA cut your hair. I wish I would of read the other Yelp Review on here about her before she cut my hair. I let her cut my hair because she said she had 29 years experience. When I first arrived and sat in her chair I got the vibe something was off. She kept sighing the whole time I was there. Like do you not like cutting long hair? Do you not like your job? I felt uncomfortable. Before I came in I had really long hair and no layers. I showed her a picture of myself when I had obvious layers throughout. Everyone else in the past who has cut my hair has cut my hair the same when cutting layers ( make a guide from my crown and go from there) She definitely didn't do that at all. She just kept scraping her scissors along my hair. It made my hair all stringy. I think after 29 years it's time she learned some updated techniques. She didn't even bother to tell me she was done with my haircut. She just started blowdrying it and running her hands in my hair. She didn't bother to ask me if I liked the haircut. Didn't bother to give me a mirror so I could see the back. I asked her "Where are the layers?" because I didnt see any. She just said "They are there" I just became nervous and told her I didn't want her to touch my hair. She became passive aggressive and tried changing the subject and asked if I wanted my hair curled. I said no. The service price was for a shampoo, cut and style. Even though I didn't get the cut I wanted and i didn't get the style afterwards, she still charged me the full amount. You would think after 29 years experience she would know how to add layers or use a round brush. She didn't even know how to touch my bang with the small round brush. Its like she was scared to touch my bangs. She didn't educate me on products, she didn't show me what she used in my hair and I felt she didn't have control or tension when she cut my hair. This is a review for Deia. She did such a wonderful job cutting my hair! I was so nervous about the bangs but she answered all of my questions and gave me a lot of tips on styling. I showed her a bunch of pictures and she gave me exactly what I wanted (and fitted to my face shape) She is so patient, kind, and wants to give people exactly what they're dreaming of. my review is in regards to my appt 6.12.15. After calling Bree twice i got a call back & we scheduled the appt. I was assuming the lashes would be applied one at a time, my bridal shower is saturday, so I wanted to get them one for this event. She is bubbly & easy going. The glue burned my eyes a little but that is natural. I didn't feel like the lashes were put on one by one, but what am I going to say? STOP, let me see?? WHEN clearly i can't see. It felt like she was trimming the outer part of my lashes & I felt like maybe that's what made the outer part clump so much?? Or too much glue? i dont know but I figured it would just need to dry & it'll look better tomorrow. The next day I texted Bree telling her how much they've clumped & she asked for a picture. I sent her a few pictures & she advised to use tweezers to help separate. It didn't work, I am on day 6 & ALOT has fallen off already. I did what she said, not showering for 24 hrs. Nor do i sleep with my eyes touching the pillow. I was really looking forward to getting this done for my event, but i am SUPER disappointed. \ It looks like i'll be going to my event with 3/4 lash extensions (NOT cute), one eye has more than the other, so now ill have to see if i can take a few off to match the other eye. NO BUENO. Bree, you are such a cool friendly person, with potential, but I have to be honest on yelp. Dont look at this as a bad grade, but look at it as a way to improve. Ill be sticking to getting my lashes done at this other salon that i went to awhile ago. (Hi hannah!) Bree is absolutely horrible in a professional aspect. She will never call you back regarding scheduling appointments so you're left with whack looking lashes. I went to someone who actually cared about the health of my real lashes and they were horrified at her "work." She uses waaay too much glue. I'm lucky I had any real lashes left. Your real lashes WILL fall out in clumps with her glue techniques! I hate having to write a review like this, but I've never been so horrified by a person's lack of professionalism and care for their clients. read more

My Eyelashes are amazing. I read the other reviews and they don't make since. My lashes lasted a long time not clumpy. She applies one at a time. I have had my lashes done several times with Bree. The first time they looked great. Things went downhill from there. The worst part of it all is that she will not return phone calls. There is always an excuse that she didn't get my messages. The final straw is that I talked to her, but she did have her appointment book with her. She stated that she would call be in an hour. That was two days ago. I was trying to make an appointment for today, but that never worked out, so with my lashed looking like crap I have to find someone new to fix them. read more
