I had another great visit here for lunch. I had the medium wings and they were exactly that - medium. They were delicious. They really know how to make some good wings. Wow what a surprise! So hubby wanted wings but not ones where we always go. He heard from friends this place had must try wings. I'm always skeptical because most places have decent wings but nothing I can get excited about til now. These wings were different.. I got mild wings and they were cooked perfectly, thin crispy skin and not lathered in sauce. The sauce was different than I'm used to but I loved it.. had a vinegar base and wasn't hot hot.. we also got fried mushrooms and even thought you know most people don't batter their own mushrooms these came out perfect too. It's got to be that the temp and time in oil is right because they came out super crispy on outside and tender inside!!great meal!! Oh and we rode in at 8pm they close at 9pm and we were only ones there. The staff was courteous, attentive and didn't rush us to get out.. it was a pretty good experience overall! This is my favorite place to eat wings. I am by no means a wing connoisseur, but, my boyfriend is. He legitimately seeks out places that have wings on the menu and rates them. We get the "Sharon Harris" and "Spicy Teriyaki" TO GO every time. Our wings are a 5 star every single time. We have eaten in the restaurant and just rather not. The ladies are always kind and accommodating so my lower score is really about the atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment. We are really warm when in the restaurant. Only people there at around 4pm which was a little worrisome. However the waitress was friendly and the food was acceptable. Got the hottest wings which I would say are only a little hotter than jalapeño hot. Tastes like vinegar bbq sauce with a lot of old bay seasoning thrown in. My husband ordered a burger with teriyaki sauce and pineapple and shut the front door was it good! I had a bite and whew my tastebuds enjoyed that bite! I got the taco salad with their seasoned hamburger meat and fresh taco shell. Now I'm not sure if they made the taco shell in the back there but dear goodness that too was awesome! It was light and airy but still had that crunch! The meat was seasoned to perfection and the salad itself was fresh. It came with a side of salsa and sour cream. The prices here are very reasonable and such a selection of food. They have a bar inside as well serving cocktails, beer and such. If you are visiting the area from out of town I suggest this as one of the places you go for lunch or dinner. You'll be glad you did !! Buffalo wings were good, just what we expected. The extra side of the "hot" sauce tasted like Bloody Mary mix. Stick with the medium buffalo and you won't be disappointed.
