I've ordered from Ember Grill so many times, and they never disappoint. Every single order is fresh, delicious, and made perfectly. Their burgers are honestly the best I've had in the Bay Area--juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right every time. And their milkshakes are just as amazing! Everything I've tried has been delicious, and I always look forward to ordering again. Highly recommend!

Anyone who knows me knows I have a very food-driven child! Beyond being on the competition lane of his swim team and the enormous amount of calories his body demands, he knows good food- and he and I both think Ember Grill may have the best burger in the city. Prime halal meat, juicy and cooked to order, topped with bacon, two onion rings & BBQ sauce, it was sensational ($12.99 + $3.99 for hand cut fries). In the mood for something beyond the regular? Get the Biscoff (cookie) shake ($7.99). I had a taste; it was super thick and delicious. The Incinerator's also had their strawberry shake and endorses. Bright, clean spot, super friendly service, stop in and see if you think they have San Francisco's best burger.

I ordered the Chicken Sandwich, which was a really good size, especially for the price. It was a decent tasting sandwich. I also ordered French Fries, which seemed a bit dry for me. Inside, there is limited seating, it's made for takeout or having a solo lunch. Overall, it wasn't the best chicken sandwich I've had, but it's still a good meal for a really good price.

I've been wanting to try Ember Grill for awhile. Since it's Friday, I decided to treat myself to a fried chicken sandwich and onion rings. They had run out of onion rings, so I got regular fries instead. I got my order to go and they came packed in a 12oz cup. The fries are hand cut and on the softer side. I ate about half because the chicken sandwich was pretty big! The chicken is very juicy and very crispy. It comes with pickles and their Ember sauce, which is creamy and tangy. I'm not a pickle person, but I actually would've liked more pickles in the sandwich to give it more acidity. But I like my foods more on the acidic side, especially with fried foods. Not sure if a tomato would work, too.. but fresh lettuce would also be a nice addition. Granted, fresh veggies might not hold up for takeout orders (unless packed separately) because of the heat from the chicken. The space is small, but it doesn't take too long to get your order. I probably waited less than 15mins, so turn around time can be quick. And despite the small space, I didn't smell like food so it's well ventilated. The gentleman who took the order was very nice. This space has been vacant even before the pandemic as it was a sandwich pop up. I'm so happy that it's now being occupied. With the way things are in the TL, I hope this place stays and becomes a mainstay for our community. Check out their happy hour from 2pm-5pm where you can get a cheeseburger meal for $12.99.

Saw this spot opened up near work and wanted to try it out! Grabbed the Impossible Burger Meal and throughly enjoyed it! The combo meal came out to about $20 (minus tip) for the burger, fries and drink which isn't too bad for what you get considering you get a whole bunch of fries with your burger. Impossible Burger tasted great. Only potential downside was it took a bit to get my order but honestly not a big deal since it seems like its just a smaller kitchen, just keep in mind if you getting it during work break like I did. Also theres not alot of seating since its a small joint so definitely order togo. Definitely gonna drop by again and maybe next time try the Jalapeño Poppers & Milkshake!

$12.99 deal everyday 2-5pm. Cheeseburger, hand-cut fries, and a drink! So fire!

We were greeted immediately and shown to the table I had requested (I requested a booth). At many restaurants, reinstated like the are ignored so this was really nice. I also was impressed that they didn't pull the "everyone must be present before you're seated" bs that I really dislike. They seated us and our 4th joined us soon after we ordered drinks. Props! It was a nice big booth with plenty of room for our party of 4. Low lighting and classy dining room. Food was delicious. We chose the lamb. Also lots of inventive cocktails. I chose The Bentley. We also got dessert: lemon curd donuts and a peach trifle.

I loved the decor all around the restaurant with adorable cow art and a very clean feel. The servers and hosts were coming over to chat with us and just made us feel so welcome and special. From the second you walk in until the second you leave you are in good hands. It's also right across from the train so it's super easy to get there! I don't normally like horseradish, but the burger came with the perfect amount of horseradish where it tasted very fresh and added a good burst of flavor without being overwhelming! The fries were delicious and crispy. 10 out of 10 food, service, and environment. I would give them more stars if I could.

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

Decor is more old school and it can get loud, so be prepared to shout over dinner. ------ FOOD 1. VEAL PARMIGIANA (4/5) Tender veal with a light breading that paired very well with the cheese and tomato sauce. Large portion that was easy to cut and share. Wish the edges were a tad crispier. Appreciated that it came with a side (we chose the ravioli). Wasn't life changing, but it was solid. 2. SPICY VODKA RIGATONI (4/5) Pasta was perfectly al dente. They poured a very healthy amount of sauce on the rigatoni such that the pasta was well coated and there were small pools of sauce in each piece of pasta. Sauce has a pretty strong kick to it. It's not overwhelming, but I think it was enough for me to only have a few pieces before I called it a night. 3. TRUFFLE FRIES (4/5) For the most part these are excellent. It's a mountain of very thin, crispy fries (what McDonald's dreams it could be). The truffle flavor is very prominent, and the two different sauces this comes with are excellent (one is a traditional mayo and the other was slightly sweet). However, some of those fries were so salty as to be inedible. Remember to drink lots of water. 4. BREAD SERVICE (3.5/5) Of course, hard to hate on a free bread service. They came out with a big basket of thick sourdough bread slices and a small butter keeper. Since the bread was room temp, it wasn't very special and it was tough to pull apart. But the flavor was there, and the softened butter was appreciated, despite the small butter portion relative to our bread portion. 5. JOE'S RAVIOLI (2.5/5) Unfortunately the only big let down of the night. The ravioli had so little filling that I actually could barely taste it even though I could see it. The outer layer of pasta was relatively thick too, so it overpowered what little filling there was. The ravioli also stuck to each other, so I ended up just biting through multiple pieces of ravioli at a time and scoping up tomato sauce from the container so that I could add flavor to the taste of the pasta dough. Large portion though! ------ ENVIRONMENT / AMBIANCE * Old-school decor featuring red leather booths, ornate wooden banisters, and lots of separate rooms throughout the restaurant. Lots of tables and always packed * Darker ambient mood lighting. Definitely more casual feeling than their sister Little Original Joe's location in the Marina * The restaurant is in the heart of North Beach right next to Washington Square Park, Tony's Pizza, and Flour + Water Pizzaria ------ SERVICE * You really need a reservation to dine here. You could probably walk in and get a seat by the kitchen in the back, but it's super crowded back there, waiters and customers are constantly weaving back and forth behind you, and it's overall not nearly as nice as sitting at a table (not always the case at restaurants!) * Our waiter was fine. He did the trick but wasn't particularly warm or helpful. Was attentive with filling our waters throughout the night

Mind you this is lunch. Not dinner. This is not a super fancy place. Me and my wife were both properly and nicely dressed. I politely told her that I identify as a woman. She said it didn't matter. I said so you misspoke a moment ago and male or female cannot wear sleeveless shirts? She said correct. I looked around and there was a woman behind us wearing a sleeveless shirt. Not nearly as nice as mine or dressed as nice as me. I said ok I will wait here while you turn her away too. The manager then became very rude and said she isn't going to serve me no matter what.
