    Two beef sliders

Went in for a small snack. Took him 30 minutes to get two sliders out. They charge you for every sauce you can think of and unless you ask they don't give you any ketchup. Overall the food was okay

Some of the best Lebanese food I've ever had in my life. Everything was extremely flavorful and they are open late... doesn't get much better. Combo platter is the One.

The burger and fries were insanely delicious! Special thanks to the manager at the register -- very friendly and helpful

My new favorite falafel spot. Food is so delicious and tasty, the service is pretty fast and it's all Halal, they even have prayer mats for you to pray in case it's Namaz time. They are open til 3am, which is awesome. We tried their spicy chicken sandwich, chicken wraps, and grilled chicken bowl, everything 10/10 . The restaurants location is off a very active street. Don't be scared. Go try it.

I'll give strong 5 to this place for falafel wrap and falafel in general. Not dry, not wet, crispy crust and soft inside. Works till late night.

Stepping in from the bustling street, a sense of peace envelops you. The place is impeccably clean, including the bathroom. For those who are Muslim, there's a dedicated prayer corner. The seating arrangement includes five four-top tables and three two-top tables, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The menu offers a wide variety of items, and I tried the falafel wrap--it was absolutely delicious. The service was super friendly and fast. They bring it to your table.

    Chai, baklava, chapli.

My favorite thing to get is the Chapli platter. Their baklava is very good too, especially with tea. I recommend the chai (which is complimentary until it runs out) The black tea is also really good, they use high quality tea leaf bags. You only need to add a little bit of sugar if you are eating baklava or maybe none at all. The chapli is fresh and seasoned very well. Overall this place is a gem since they are open late (til 3 AM on fri n sat) and have good food.

I honestly only ever order door dash from this place but that's because it's now become a staple to order. Whenever I'm feeling something healthy but also tasty, I always order the falafel platter from here! It ends up being two meals for me as well. I also really appreciate that they mention that they fry anything vegetarian in a separate oil, makes me not have to worry about cross contamination! Truly a great place for vegetarians. I always add the hot sauce as well because it's super spicy and makes the meal that much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend if you're wanting a nice late night order of Mediterranean food or even just as a normal dinner, especially for vegetarians! They offer many other items but I haven't had the chance to try them out.

I don't even know if I have ever wrote a review before on yelp! But this place is so good I had too! I have ordered a wrap here before that was amazing. But I order the falafel platter and dolma and it is affordable and literally THEE best I've ever had. The portion are so big and you get a bang for your buck! Love the food! People are nice and it's a cute spot to eat in if you are stopping for a quick meal :)

Whoever is reading this. Eat at this place (or order it), I swear to god it's some of the best food in San Francisco. We are obsessed with their gyros, platters, bowls, and I just tried the burger. I've been here 6 years and it's literally a top 3 burger in SF. I literally stopped eating it to write this update review because it's so good and more people need to try it. To the owner / chefs - I can tell you put love into your work. Everything is perfect.

Some of the best burgers and falafels we have had anywhere. Very nice folks and I am not sure why more people aren't lined up to come here - oh the dolmas seemed to be super home made

It was like eating in a private garden, surrounded by a nice floral arrangement. The food was superb. Highest quality. The salad appetizers were fresh & crunchy. The feta cheese & small lavash breads were a great way to start. See the mains in the photos. My lamb chops & beef/lamb skewer was excellent. My sons raved about their salmon & beef. The rice was perfect: real longer grained basmati, delicately spiced, with hints a saffron. I loved the roasted tomato, raw onions, cilantro, & mint leaves. Of course plenty of lavash. Easily a 4.5. I'd give a 5, but my wife said her chicken was a little dry. Still tasty, especially with her rice that had raisins, dates, & lentils. Maybe nit picking, but overall good. The Napoleon with a scoop of raspberry ice cream was excellent. This Napoleon wasn't so creamy, but more about layers of cake. More complex than the usual variant. I'm a fan. The drinks were on point. Great ambiance & waiter. Great portions & value for this level of quality. Lavash takes pride in what they do. We will be back for great Persian cuisine.

It is not a sit-down restaurant and doesn't pretend to be. What it is, is consistently excellent food at prices that still make sense in a city where that's getting rare. We're regulars, and we usually go on Sunday evenings after my girlfriend gets off work. Falafel wrap and chicken shawarma are our usual order -- the falafel has that crisp-shell, tender-middle thing going, and the wraps are generously built. We've branched out plenty and everything we've tried has been good. The other reason we keep showing up is the people. Turna usually takes our order, and she is genuinely lovely -- friendly in a way that isn't a customer-service script. My girlfriend and I always walk out in a better mood than we walked in with, which is worth a lot. Practical notes: halal, lots of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, open until midnight Fri/Sat, and they cater. Grab some napkins if you're eating the wrap on the move -- it's a big one, and that's a compliment.

I'm a big fan of the chicken shawarma--it's really flavorful and hits the spot when it's done right. That said, on a couple of my previous orders the meat was a bit on the dry side, but I still find myself coming back because when it's on point, it's really good. Staff is friendly, and most of the time you can stand on their ledges to eat or sit outside. There were 2 small tables that seat 2-3 per table. Pro tip: ask for the tahini and hot sauce on the side and load it into your wrap--it takes it up a notch.

I booked our table about a month in advance, which turned out to be the right move because the restaurant was bustling during the lunch hour. To start, we ordered four small plates to share among our party of four: meatballs, saganaki, spanakotiropita, and a pair of dips (melitzanosolata and favasalata) with pita. Everything was excellent, and our spread was inclusive of a wide variety of flavors and textures: salty, creamy, acidic, sweet, crunchy. The meatballs and the dips are definitely a must-order and are ideal for sharing. The spanakotiropita were larger and more filling than expected, so if I were to order those again, I'd dial it back and stick with small plates rather than a full-sized entree. The saganaki was a showstopper; it is served sizzling and crackling on a cast iron dish and had a nice salty flavor that allowed the cheese to be served on its own. For my main dish, I ordered the braised goat - which is not something I'd typically order because goat meat is usually tough - but I was intrigued how it was prepared as a stew. The dish almost reminded me of a Moroccan tagine - the goat was braised to peak tenderness and bathed in a slightly fruity and well-spiced sauce; dotted with pieces of melted feta; and served on top of a bed of baked orzo, which was served fresh-from-the oven in a mini cast iron dish. I was so full after our meal that I had to walk it off for a few blocks, but I cannot wait for our next special occasion so we can come back and celebrate with another feast at Kokkari Estiatorio.

I think the sauce should have been on the side. The rest of the dish was good. 4/5 LAMB KEBAB PLATE ~ this was my dish. I touched my skewers thinking they were going to be hot, but it was surprisingly cold. I'm not sure why skewers would be cold when the food should be hot right off the grill. The lamb was cooked medium rare as I requested, though there was little to no seasoning. So it was kind of gamey and tasteless 3/5 RACK OF LAMB PLATE ~ my partner chose this dish. The lamb was also very light in seasoning. The pistachio rice was interesting and nutty. Asparagus was good. 3.5/5 MIXED GRILL PLATE ~ our friend enjoyed this dish. Maybe a mixed grill is the way to go and some meats cooked and seasoned better than others. 4/5 BEEF KEBAB PLATE ~ the beef was also room temperature and lightly seasoned. 3.5/5 SALMON ~ I tried some of this and it was decent. 4/5 BAKLAVA & CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE ~ Nice birthday surprise and a sweet way to end the meal. Baklava wasn't as crispy or flaky as some I've had, but the honey-pistachio nuts were good. Chocolate mousse cake was decadent and moist. 4/5 Beautiful presentation on the plating of our food, though the timing for the food wasn't quite right as a few plates were served room temperature and not hot. However, the surprise desserts were a nice touch in helping us celebrate a birthday!
