Walked into PeachOut Power Yoga about three years ago knowing basically nothing about yoga -- and honestly, it turned out to be one of the better decisions I've made. From day one, the vibe in this place is different. The other students are genuinely warm and welcoming, not just tolerant of the new guy stumbling through his first chaturanga. But the instructors are the real reason people become regulars. This crew is equal parts knowledgeable, entertaining, and invested in the people in their classes. They actually know who you are, where you're at in your practice, and how to push you without losing you. That combination is rarer than it should be. And then there's the owner. She has built something special here -- a studio that the community genuinely loves, which is a direct reflection of how much she loves that community right back. Her classes fill up fast and for obvious reasons: this isn't incense and silence, it's deep stretches and power flows with Journey blasting and the whole room laughing and dripping sweat. It works, and it's fun. Operationally, this place punches above its weight too. Open every single day of the year, solid class sizes (no awkward three-person sessions like you'll find at other East Cobb studios), and a schedule that actually fits real life -- heated, non-heated, power, slow flow, and stretch options running from 6am to 6:15pm. They have sculpt and weight training classes, Pilates, stretching classes, hot power yoga, slow flow, non-heated classes, and candlelight yin, where you Just relax and meditate, which is so incredible for mind and body. My review has been long overdue! This is more than a yoga studio. It is a community of people who genuinely care about each other and love yoga. There is a large variety of classes (heated/non heated) Yin, Flow, Power, Deep Stretch. In my 20 years of yoga, these are the best teachers I have ever practiced with. The pros, staff are very friendly and Karen's classes are the MOST FUN I've ever taken! I got the intro 30 day new student special. Karen's classes made time fly, her playlists were the best too. This studio has a fatal (but correctable) flaw though. There are nowhere near enough classes. In fact, I had to buy another intro membership somewhere else. Do you want to practice Friday but work? Too bad, you can't. They don't have any evening classes. How about a hot flow Thursday evening? Nope, just a 45 minute scuplt. There is a single hot class Monday-Wednesday evening. Thus, people are packed in like sardines and if you can't make that 1 time slot, you're out of luck. read more

Such a great community and I REALLY appreciate the free community classes on Sunday afternoons! Such a great way to prepare for your week! I have taken other classes outside the community classes and do wish they had more harder, heated classes. I've never left and thought "that class was hard," which makes it hard for me to justify a membership. This is a wonderful community in which to practice yoga! All of the instructors make the classes fun while providing a great workout. The music playlists keep the energy up and there are often themed classes or contests. I can feel myself become stronger through practicing here. read more

I had the opportunity to attend David's Arm Balance workshop at Peach Out this past weekend and had a great time. David had obviously done his homework, and that, along with his years of teaching experience made it a really enjoyable class. There were all levels of yoga experience there- from brand new yogis to some very accomplished people and he made everyone feel comfortable and encouraged. He helped us to celebrate each others accomplishments- even the smallest success- and was quick to encourage the group for every attempt, even those that will take much more practice to get proficient. The time flew by, I made some new friends and left with a nice visual handout and much more confidence in what my practice can be. Already looking forward to the next workshop! read more

What a place! At first, not ever attending a Yoga Studio, I was a bit nervous. Welcomed with warmth, I was delighted to accept an offer for a free class to try. I went and attended a class in the afternoon. It was taught by Charina, the Manager, who is warm, friendly, professional and helpful. It was a hard one for me but I left feeling energetic and exhausted all at once as well as noticing I was standing tall and upright! I decided to join for the first month, and attended two diff stretching classes....loved them both, also feeling comfortable, warm and left, feeling great! Bring it Om offered a special event called African Yoga Project, being run by two amazing young women from Africa. After explaining their story of how, why etc they got from Africa to the US, bringing the African Yoga Project to the states, they began their class. WOW WOW!! Each yoga pose was partnered with dancing (while still in the pose), fabulous contagious music and great direction. What fun!! I was sweating from places I didn't even know existed on me! LOL! I came home exhilarated like I have never experienced..... Last night I attended a class with Rob. He was great! Since it was a rainy cold Friday night, I seemed like the only person in East Cobb to want to go out. He gave me a private class, helping to correct my poses, to avoid injury and truly building my confidence. It was awesome! I do believe I may have found what Ive been looking for at Bring it Om! Thank you for opening up your studio, near my home, with such a warm, welcoming and professional staff. PS. Also the retail in the front of the studio is awesome! I've been going to the studio for little over a month twice a week. I'm older, overweight and out of shape. I've been doing Restorative Yoga and YIN ( more for your joints) my right hip is so much better and I can actually reach my toes now. I've done Yoga virgins but find it a little more fast paced then I'm ready for. But a great class if your already in average shape and just wanting to learn yoga. Everyone is helpful and supportive. I have never once felt uncomfortable about my age and size. I highly highly recommend the studio and instructors Linda and Stephanie. read more
