I ordered the small well done pepperoni pizza! It was the perfect size pizza but it was a tad on the greasy side. I added garlic topping or something on the delivery app and didn't get that or it was very mild in flavor so that was kind of disappointing because I love garlic. Overall the well done texture is perfect for what I'd want in a crispy pizza however it was just too greasy. I felt like the flavor profile was more grease than anything else. read more

Drove back and forth past this place for eons and finally had the courage to check em out. At first I mistakenly walked into the half of their building containing the bar. Bartender directed me out the door to their next door that housed their pizza kitchen. It's literally just enough space to stand in there. You pay out the corner and go. Unassuming location on the southwest side of Columbus. Came highly recommended from social media, so we went to try it. Menu is limited to pizza and some sandwiches. Bar counter and booths for seating. The pizza was good. As the picture shows, well done pepperoni placed in abundance (this is just how it came, we didn't ask for double). Thinner crust, sort of reminds me of what Donatos would be like if Donatos was actually good. It's a bit far for me and I don't have much business in the area so not sure I will be back. Decided randomly to go to Emelio's after seeing videos on social media and let me tell you... it was well worth the 30 minute drive. We did have a little difficulty parking as the lot is somewhat small but not a big deal as people were parking to get take out and then leaving. We sat at the bar and had the special salad (large size), which was amazing and a generous portion that fed two adults easily. Seriously so good - and I'm still thinking about it. It's simple and light and the cooked pepperoni added a nice crunch. Then came our pizza..... we decided to just do pepperoni for our first time. It was SO GOOD. I cannot wait to go back and worth the drive for us. Plus our service was great even though the whole place was busy. Got delivery so can't comment on bathroom, but my bathroom is pretty nice. Anyways I think this is my favorite tavern-style pizza in Columbus. They really perfected the thin and crispy and next time I eat this I won't order Well done. I was just worried it'd be floppier kinda like Donatos but I don't think that would be the case. The cheese tasted amazing and they're sauce has a fantastic balance sharpness and acidity without overdosing on sugar. The staff were even kind enough to give us 2 extra sauces! Bonus for the cheesy bread too it was great. I had a promotion from Ubereats so the price came out pretty decent, but the in person prices looked pretty decent on the website. The pepperoni pizza is as good as its looks! Garlic cheese bread is some of the best ever. The special salad is also delicious and unique! I haven't gotten the pizza yet, but not too happy about the ordering process. I waited all morning to order on Toast, but it said online ordering not available. I waited until the store was open and tried again. Still no online ordering. I called to place the order and was told there is no online ordering on Fridays because they are too busy. I was ordering 9 large pizzas for our company lunch. The person who took my order let me know, rudely, that it would be an hour for the order because there was a large order ahead of ours. I said ok. The whole time they tried to talk me out of ordering and then said I didn't need to be rude to them. I never raised my voice once. Try the special salad that comes with the baked pepperoni. It is really tasty and the portion is huge. We order the small and my husband and I still have some leftover. The subs are meaty and baked the way I like them. The pizza is thin and greasy from all of the cheese! Delicious! Napkin dispenser is on the table! This is a neighborhood bar with a limited menu of pizza, subs, and salad. The TVs have sports playing but it is quiet enough to enjoy a conversation. Expected a restaurant but this was small and more like a bar with booths. I think there was another room maybe for larger families or groups. Nicely decorated with photos of local sports teams over the years. Service was good. I'm not a fan of thin and crispy but still my mushroom had great flavor with perfect amount of sauce. My 2 companions shared a large pepperoni and sausage. Yay for the pepperoni nay for the sausage. They had half left and asked for a box but it came back stacked and wrapped in foil. Yeah man it's a beauty. If you like thin crispy crust, it's among the best in town. Salad is also really good. Two suggestions: they are so busy that often they won't answer their phone and it goes to voicemail. I contacted Emelio's for catering my son's wedding. I was put in touch with Haifa. I communicated what we were looking for. She responded asking me to pick one of their packages. I told her that I was very busy and preferred she pick the package and quote it accordingly based on the specifications I gave her (chicken plus beef, salad, mashed potatoes and steam's green beans, no dessert, no appetizers, etc. She immediately told me I was being rude (for not telling her the package). I explained again that I would not have time to sort through all their items and pick but wanted her to do it. Then she hung up on me. I booked this caterer for my daughter's baby shower. It was on 4/19. I am out of state so could not sample the food beforehand. I ordered a cannoli and cookie tray for 25 people and received a 4x7 in tray of bonbons. I also ordered a cheese and fruit tray for $130 and I'll just received fruit. I was told ice was not included in my non-alcoholic drink station and the tortellini was so overcooked it was mush. You could do better cooking for yourself in a microwave. Please do not use this caterer not only was the service horrible but their response was just as dreadful. If I could give them less than once that I would order yourself a deli tray from your local supermarket and it will be so much better. read more

Oh my goodness! I was dogsitting nearby and the dog owners recommended this pizza spot. I placed my order for pickup and missed the building in the dark. Eventually found a spot to park. Very quick transaction to pay and pickup. The door was open to let out some oven heat. Staff was friendly. At the house I realized how terrific the pizza is.
