Soup and sandwich
Diana C.

My husband said the soup and ham and grilled cheese sandwich were Great the shrimp and lobster casserole was good. Very small portion with a side of salad.

Meat lovers extra sauce, with added onions and mushrooms

Always friendly staff, and some pretty amazing food for what's in the area! From pizza, to burgers, and apps are amazing! I have yet to try the enteees and light fair but that's in the works :). I know a lot of places have pizza, but as places have been changing around. This place just has the best of all worlds for everyone in the family. I didn't notice a kids menu online but my kiddo and my girlfriends particular kiddo found food here. Big win!

This is the second location for Emeralds. The first one was destroyed in a fire in May of this year. This review is based solely on their pizza. I ordered a garlic white and a plain cheese pizza. The garlic white was not good. It was oily sin and flavorless. Which is surprising because I love white pizza. The plane was pretty good. But not great. The pizza choices in Ticonderoga are limited now that Ti Pi has gone out of business. It's a little pricey too but I am planning on going back and trying the stuffed eggplant.

Fabulous meal of seafood scampi and New York sirloin steak. Dinner started with delicious hot rolls and a good salad. Dessert of lemon raspberry cake finished off a great meal. Our waitress Sue did an outstanding job. Emeralds II is lucky to have her. We will be back.

Dijon crusted salmon, sides seasonal. I cleaned my plate. Salmon was so soft and flaky.

I never review restaurants but I thought this restaurant should show off its food so I took some photos. We almost didn't come here for lack of photos but the reviews of the food being consistently good (see TripAdvisor reviews) swayed our decision. The food was very good. Great portions and well prepared. Our waitress was wonderful and our food came out at just the right pace (faster than I expected based on other reviews, but not too fast to where you know it was being prepared from scratch by a chef). We stayed in Hague so it was an easy choice to travel north instead of south where the prices were 1/2 again as much for less food of comparable quality. We will be back here next time we're up to Lake George. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is I would have liked more options for sides, but again, I cleaned my plate so no real complaints!

Great cocktails, relaxing atmosphere, makes for a Great Time!!!

Sat on the porch for lunch with large family. All our meals were great and big portions. Drinks so good.

This was my first experience at the Brown Swan/Lodge at Schroon Lake. Went for the Fire and Ice…read morefestivities which was a really fun and different experience. The main lodge and patio are beautiful and it seemed everything was well planned and organized. Having been coming to Schroon Lake for years, it is so great to have such a wonderful place move in and I really am rooting for their long term success! That said, our restaurant experience was not great. The wait staff and kitchen are not on the same level as the rest of the place. I've had better meals and service at just about every other restaurant in town. This was sad because I really wanted to love and rave about the restaurant. Overall this is a great place to have a few drinks and enjoy the entertainment! But if you get hungry, might be better just to order bar food staples from the Tavern part of the restaurant.

This check-in is for The Tavern. It really should have a separate listing, as the menu is…read moredifferent. Tonight, with a new chef recently, we had the fish & chips and the pork belly. The fish was breaded and the breading was AMAZING! The portion was generous, served with excellent fries, Cole slaw and tartar sauce. The Cole slaw was ...GOOD! I never like restaurant Cole slaw. This had flavor and a surprise: DILL. I stole a significant portion of my sweetheart's meal. My choice was an appetizer: first time for pork belly. The meat itself was delicious, served as a (3) Skewer with a half Brussels sprout, in a bed of spicy sauce (that the bartender said was not spicy). It was very good, but it was duct. Order the sauce on the side. As far as service, it was great, but we did arrive before the crowd. Bartender did replace my drink I didn't care for. Before I finish, I want to express my gratitude for the free Live Music here, weekly. Every Friday and Saturday. It definitely brings my business.

Two Brothers was the choice from the desk so we went with it and so glad we did. Place looked pretty busy, bar was full, we were seated pretty much right away. The menu is smaller (perfect amount of items , hate too many choices) but done well. We love doing shareable so we can try a bunch of different things. The mussels were the absolute show stopper here, different than most. Tequila, spicy, little bits of sausage, (i would have drank the broth or made this a soup it was so good) The Poutine was different than I was used to, it was our least favorite but still ok. This is just a personal preference but I'm used to being smothered in gravy, it was almost non existent. It's like the ere was a ladle on the bottom and fries on top so didn't get a lot of it. The street corn dip was really good, much different than others I've had as well but in a really good way. It was hearty with lots of corn, had some nice spice to it. We also had (not pictured) French onion soup, loved it, nice peppery, piping hot. The cheddar ale soup, best I've had, literally you can taste all the components of this, rich, thick, creamy, sharp cheddar with a hint of the ale in the background. For dessert we took the donut holes to go, the colors dip was amazing, the chocolate looked like it was seized up a bit, we also ate this a little later so it could have been us and not from then. This looks like a super fun place to belly up at the bar, it has the hometown feel , we are already planning a stop on our drive back later this week!

Appetizers: Cornbread, brisket nachos, Caesar salad, gochujang rub chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. Everything was solid and the portions were pretty large, so we were decently full by the time our entrees came. Entrees: pork belly tacos, brisket tacos, salmon tacos and the prime rib wrap. I loved the prime rib wrap - it was well stuffed with meat and the outside was crispy from the grill. Dessert: the brookie (brownie + cookie) skillet was delicious! We left with lots of leftovers despite being extremely full! Service was friendly and quick also.

They have a great selection of beers from all around Vermont and I contemplated getting a flight before settling on a selection. We got the southwestern egg rolls as an appetizer and they were so delicious and cheesy! They were too appealing to be photographed before consumption. I got the salmon tacos and they were delicious. The salmon was flavorful and perfectly cooked with a crispy texture. I was pretty impressed at how big the portion of salmon for each taco was. We'd definitely stop by here again in the future for dinner. By the time we left, the dinner rush was in full effect with people waiting for a seat and I can see why!
