The street corn dip was really good, much different than others I've had as well but in a really good way. It was hearty with lots of corn, had some nice spice to it. We also had (not pictured) French onion soup, loved it, nice peppery, piping hot. The cheddar ale soup, best I've had, literally you can taste all the components of this, rich, thick, creamy, sharp cheddar with a hint of the ale in the background. For dessert we took the donut holes to go, the colors dip was amazing, the chocolate looked like it was seized up a bit, we also ate this a little later so it could have been us and not from then. For a busy place we were lucky enough to grab a table quickly. The menu layout was very straightforward. I ordered the Celery Gimlet as my drink which was incredibly refreshing on such a hot day. I found multiple options on the menu I wanted to try but ended up going for their seared tuna with edamame and ponzu sauce. The plate over all was very well thought out and all the flavors worked together. My dining companion ordered the filet sliders and a side of veggies. The sliders came in an order of three and each as expected came with a 4 oz filet cooked to a perfect medium rare. We did ask for a steak knife to accommodate my denture wearing companion who was having a hard time chewing. Unfortunately, no photos were taken of the food but I assure both items were worth having again. The servers were very attentive for a packed space. There was a restaurant in this location before so much of the interior design remains the same but does have a brighter interior vibe than I remember. As a side note the dining area features retractable bay windows to give an indoor outdoor dining space that is usually open in the summer and they do not have ac. She didn't allow us to sit on the outside patio even though a table for 4 was available. (You can't reserve a table unless it's for 6 or more. When asked why we couldn't have the outdoor table, even though it was only a 4 person table, she told us the owner had reserved that for a special party.) So we sat on awful high stools at a high table. There was a dirty knife at the table setting and a bug in our water carafe. Now on to the food: tasteless. I honestly have never experienced ribs that had no flavor whatsoever, even the barbecue sauce had no flavor! The fish tacos my two friends ordered came with cold corn tacos that they didn't eat and dry fish that they did eat, because, hey, they were hungry. The corn on the cob accompanying my ribs had to be sent back because the underside had a huge section of brown, rotten kernels. The fries were unbearably greasy. They tasted of rancid oil. The waitress was nice. We will not be going back.
