While currently closed, Emilou's was and is the best ever. Everything is made in-house or sourced locally with the utmost care and love. It is delicious, memorable, and crave-worthy. Moreover, Emily and Lucas have gone above and beyond to make personal connections and impact the community positively. This wasn't just a cafe; it was a place to belong and be a part of something greater than yourself. While I selfishly hope that Emilou's is only closed at this location and not forever, no matter what, I wish Emily and Lucas nothing but the best. They deserve it. read more

"The best part of waking up . . Is Emilou's coffee in your cup!" Isn't that how it goes? Ha! Today I had the pleasure of fueling up at Emilou's Cafe. I went to grab my coffee order & get my day started. This hidden gem was located next to 'Hi-Tide Laundromat' right behind an oasis of plants. There is a large floor marker that reads 'locally roasted coffee' & I knew I had found the spot. A quaint space with a small ordering lobby & a couple of chairs, window-front. The small cafe offered an assortment of drink options, so I checked out the menu. After a quick study of the menu I went with the 'Whipped CBD Honey Latte' iced. Sounded like a nice way to get me a 'up' a little & down a little. Iykyk. My drink was carefully yet quickly crafted by a friendly gentleman staff member. I forgot to mention wanting to request a milk alternative but was asked just before it was added making it easy to adjust before receiving my drink. My gut thanks you, kind sir. I stepped outside to the plant cloaked patio to enjoy my drink. My drink [Whipped CBD Honey Latte] was tasty & refreshing. Perfect midday pick me up.. Rich coffee complimented with a hint of honey & ice to perfection. My only wish was that it was a little sweeter but otherwise this was 'the perfect cup'! This is the cutest tiny cafe! We found it on Google Maps after our Littorai wine tasting nearby and everything about it was so great. Our drinks (cap for my husband & iced matcha for me) and pastry (gluten free berry muffin) were SO good! We hung out at a little table outside in the mini garden, were visited by a sweet dog, and found the restroom in the laundromat next door. This place is very small, cute and quiet. A great place to grab a coffee on your way to work, there is never a long line and the woman that I believe runs this is very friendly. Their espresso is REALLY good. I order their vanilla latte and I can tell you I drink a lot of coffee at local shops in the area and this place is in my top 5!!! This is the best coffee in Sebastopol. They make other drinks too and everyone is very happy with them. Emilou's has all the non-dairy you can imagine. They make great muffins and cookies all right there baked fresh every day. Get yours early because they may sell out. A really sweet gem of a cafe run by a lovely couple. They have scrumptious homemade treats with gluten-free options and a variety of tasty coffee and espresso drinks with a wide choice of alternative milks, always delivered with a smile. Today some friends and I were there enjoying our book club on their tiny, but secluded patio watching as hummingbirds sweetly sipped nectar from the sages around us when we were treated by one of the owners to a Gruyère Thyme gluten-free cookie.
