Lovely locals coffee shop. Lovely service, great coffee, and a nice choice of small items to eat. You can buy their roast (on-site roasting) beans as well. Nothing like a coffee shop that roasts themselves. Highly recommend stopping in, and get your photo with the big blue beagle.

I came here this morning for breakfast because of the positive reviews. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was strong, but the food was awful. I had the ham and cheese croissant, the sun-dried tomato and pesto frittata, and a cappuccino. The croissant sandwich was soggy. The frittata was inedible. It looked like yummy pesto but it tasted moldy. I am honestly really disappointed. They were flies too, but that usually doesn't bother me. $18 and need to get more food.

A sweet neighborhood coffee shop in Larkfield Shopping Center, near Molsberry Market. I stopped in recently on a Friday morning to do some work. I ordered and enjoyed a large latte - super smooth and easy to drink. It was just over $6 with tip, which is pretty standard. Thankfully my laptop was fully charged as I didn't see many power outlets. I scored one of the 6 bistro tables inside, just ahead of the rush. By 10am the space was full of locals happily greeting each other as they enjoyed their coffees and bagels. Very sweet to see and hear. They have a few other tables inside, and maybe 2 or 3 small tables out front. In addition to coffee and bagels, they sell some pastries and breakfast items. There's no printed food menu so check the case and ask what's available. When I finished my work (and ran out of battery), I walked over to Cookie...Take A Bite on the other side of the small shopping center and purchased a box of cookies for a gift.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops, and has become part of my daily routine. I love stopping here in the morning as I'm walking my dogs -- grabbing a latte for me and pupichino for them. :) The baristas here are so sweet and they make a DANG good coffee! I met the owners the other day and they were the nicest people. They told me the blue beagle's name is Jack, and he is their 17 year old family dog! It has amazing ambiance if you are looking for somewhere cozy to read a book or get some work done. 10/10, I couldn't recommend this place more!

My friends and I were on a drive through the area and needed some coffee and/or breakfast snack. When we stopped at this mini mall that we were passing we spotted the Blue Beagle Coffee shop. First off: how can anyone not be charmed by the logo of a blue beagle? I'm just saying. This playful logo gave promise to a charming ambiance. And I was not disappointed! As could be indicated by the fullness of the shop. Patrons sipping brews or eating breakfast pastries abounded. My friends opted for a cold coffee and the other hot. I had some cocoa myself. We were pleased with our beverages. Sitting outside of the cafe at a small table by the store front. It was extremely relaxing! Great start to a day of wine! For sure, next time we're in the area, we'll stop by the Blue Beagle. I love dogs and marry that to a cute coffee shop, it's a winner!

They are truly a community-based cafe that offers a lot to this neighborhood of Santa Rosa. My wife and I stopped by today for breakfast before taking a nice walk through Juilliard Park and the surrounding neighborhood. I had a delicious breakfast burrito with added bacon. The flavors and textures of this burrito made me smile when I took my first bite. It comes with some spicy salsa that provides a nice tang. My wife had the Chicken bahn mix sandwich and this was also delicious. The sriracha sauce is quite spicy and the spice gets intense after several bites, but it's so so good. We also had a salted Caramel mini muffin that I highly recommend as just a little bite for dessert.

The café is set back from the street behind another building, and the alleyway entrance greets you with a colorful mural. There's outdoor seating with heat lamps, but on a cold, damp day I opted for the warmth indoors. A few people were happily outside. Inside, the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Seating is varied and well thought out: firm but comfortable bench seating, a long communal table, two-person tables, and a cozy corner nook. Six skylights and glass panel doors bring in generous natural light. There was a nice diversity of people during my visit, including a baby and folks with gray hair. While the space isn't explicitly LGBTQ+-branded, there was nothing that gave me pause -- it felt neutral and inclusive. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a caramel latte with almond milk, which was excellent: strong espresso, well-balanced foam and steamed milk, and good overall ratios. It was a bit sweeter than my personal preference with the standard one ounce of syrup, but that's on me -- and it's no sweeter than most cafés. I also tried the warmed apple turnover; decent, but not a standout (a bit mushy). There are books on the shelves, including children's books. Free Wi-Fi is available, and it feels like the kind of place you could easily settle into for an hour or more. Power outlets are plentiful and thoughtfully placed, including under the bench seating -- easy to access without being visually intrusive. Accessibility is solid: street parking is free and plentiful, there are no steps required to access the café or bathroom, and there's a private, single-person, gender-neutral restroom in an adjacent building. All around, a great place for excellent lattes, good music, and a relaxed, comfortable hang.

We came in a large group, but we split up by family since seating is pretty limited, which made things a little easier. I ordered the beef pho with steak and brisket, the pork spring rolls, and the combo rice plate. The pho came out piping hot, which was great, but the lady who brought out the food forgot the vegetables that came with it. My daughter didn't realize they were missing until she had already eaten most of her pho. The combo rice plate was just okay. The fish sauce that came with it was quite salty, and the rice was hard and seemed undercooked. The pork spring rolls were also different from what we're used to. We typically have spring rolls with boiled, unseasoned pork, which pairs well with the peanut dipping sauce. Here, the pork was grilled and seasoned, same meat as what was in my rice plate and unfortunately, we didn't care for it as much. On the plus side, the staff were nice and friendly. One of the workers gave my friend a can of beer and also gave me one as an apology for the forgotten vegetables with the pho, which was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, the service was friendly and they made an effort to make up for the mistake, but unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. We expected more based on the ratings and probably wouldn't go out of our way to return.
