Sweet Glory's cakes are beautiful, not too sweet, super tasty, and tastes as what it says. They have the standard crepe cake flavors, and some others such as Durian. I didn't think I'd enjoy Durian based on my experience with the actual fruit, but the cake itself was pretty tasty after getting over the scent. I loved their earl gray crepe cake. Nicely textured cream and perfect consistent thin crepes. Their matcha one was really good as well. Whenever someone brings a cake from Sweet Glory, I just instantly light up as I know it'll be so so goood. Not cheap, but it's a well built and tasty crepe cake, so don't expect that to be cheap. :)

Passionfruit had a bright flavor that made it feel "lighter" as a dessert. The layers on all the cakes were very discernable, especially texturally. The taste of each cake was very fresh and abundant, being true to the flavor.

This is my favorite cake shop in the area and should be the bar for cakes everywhere…read more The buttercream on the cake is the best. It's soooooooooooooooo smooth and buttery. I would eat the cream by itself if they sold it that way. Good thing I don't live nearby. I saw one review say that some of their chocolate flavor or cookie flavors weren't as good, which I understand. I had a cookie cake and didn't taste the smooth, buttery taste I was looking for. I highly recommend cakes that let their vanilla frosting shine without mixing too many flavors. Flavors: - Raspberry & lychee was amazing - Key lime was a little too tart for my tastes, but I still loved the buttercream - Cookie was just ok

A cousin has brought over cakes from Butter& on numerous occasions, and they've been a hit each time. Beautifully crafted with the outside layers so you can see both the cake and frosting layers. I absolutely love the unique-esque of flavors here. The first cake I tried from Butter& was their brown butter lemon cake. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, but love the sound of that flavor combination. It was great texturally. The second one I tried was their lychee raspberry. Wow, they really get that lychee flavor super well there! Very impressed. This one was more to my liking, and it was as equally as beautiful as the first one. Disclaimer that I haven't been to the actual store, but heard great things re service and the atmosphere. I bet it smells amazing in there. Someday I'll make a visit, but for now, keep the cakes coming! YUM!

I tried the regular croissant, the almond croissant, and the kouign-amann. My favorite was 100% the almond croissant. All were amazing but the flavors and textures were truly exceptional. I'd recommend going to that one vs this teeny tiny location. It's not a great representation of the Ariscault as a whole. I think we came here around 2 pm, so almost close to closing, but 90% of items were sold out. Yet there was still a huge queue. Why close so early and be out of stock so fast if ppl clearly still want croissants at 2 pm on a Saturday? Also, they forgot two croissants in our bag, and we turned around 30 seconds later and told them they're missing. They needed to "verify" our order, which made me feel like I'm a thief. I promise I'm not stealing when I already spent $37 there. I just want what I paid for!! Anyways, check out the other 2 locations if you're not a local who lives nearby, as they're much nicer.

We ate the mango sago pudding right away and it was really nice with fresh mango, creamy sago and not too sweet! The kouign aman of course is always delicious and the coating just made it even more decadent. Definitely will have to come back next year to try their other specials. Today the pastries looked totally off, in particular my go-to pain au chocolat. I asked why they looked so gnarly but nobody working there really seemed to speak English. No issue with that of course, I just wasn't able to figure out what was going on with the pastries so ended up walking out. B was never my favorite but it was a convenient pop-in if I was ever around Union Square. Unfortunately it's off the list for now.
