Yum, I come here for a sweet treat or when I need to get dairy free cupcakes. It's a tad pricey but I don't mind getting the day old cupcakes for a cheaper price. UCSF employees also get a 10% discount. The employees make great recs if you don't know what you wanna get. My top favorite are Key Lime Pie and Banana Pudding. Both taste amazing!! Other okay flavors have been red velvet, cookies n cream, and carrot cake. Nothing has been bad and the dairy free ones are really good. I'm glad to have caught this cupcake shop before leaving San Francisco. They close at 6:00 PM! It's a cute small shop inside the Chase Center. There's plenty of parking around the Chase Center today, and you can also park from the garage. There's plenty of cupcakes you can choose from, and you can also try mini cupcakes as well if you don't feel like feasting on a normal size. It's decorated nicely. Some of them have sprinkles and a few of them have flowers. The lady who works in this shop is very nice. She kindly explained what flavors are available to me. I got the vanilla cupcake. The frosting was fantastic. I think the base of the cupcake could have been more cooked. It is a preference of mine so the cake itself doesn't stick onto the wrap. Bought a few cupcakes from here and they're easily one of the best cupcakes in the bay area. I went to their east bay location first and was delighted when they opened a location here in SF a few years back. The cupcake is fresh and moist and not dense while the frosting is not too sweet and balances the treat out. My favorite is the salted caramel and key lime. read more

Craving something sweet before the game. Saw the balloons out front and went in to check them out. The employee behind the counter was so nice. They offer several varieties of cupcakes including gluten free and vegan. We decided on two key lime pie cupcakes, the cookies and cream cupcake, and the carrot cake cupcake. Many different flavors to choose from! They have regular size or mini cupcakes. I would recommend going for the regular size since the mini ones are literally one bite. My favorite that I tried is the key lime flavor one. This is a unique flavor that I haven't seen elsewhere and has the perfect balance of tartness with sweetness. The other cupcakes were all great choices. Every one of them was frosted nicely. A kitchen in this kiosk style building but they had a nice big moving tray container for their stock. Guessing they will only really have 1 person here unless they know an event is happening and need more. Honestly the area is not that busy on a non event day. They had a couple of concert special cupcakes and they were really good. Price wise it's not bad especially for the day olds but they are reasonable enough for the quality and location. Bourbon Peach Cobbler (3.5/5) - while delicious, it was very sticky and messy overall. A lot of the actual cake was stuck to the paper compared to the other 3 for some reason. Strawberry (3/5) - found this one to be slightly boring. A little strawberry jelly or even a slice of strawberry would have elevated this one a lot. Key Lime Pie (5/5) - definitely the winner. Delicious lime curd that was refreshing. At $5.25 each, these are quite expensive. While I can't see myself visiting frequently, I would probably stop by to pick these up as a mini gift for someone and would encourage you to give it a try. Tip: buy the day-olds for $1 less.
